Crystal Springs Hideaway has a great wine selection, and the build-your-own charcuterie board is an amazing idea. It's a fun concept and perfect for sharing while trying different wines. The ambiance is relaxed, making it a nice place to unwind. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, so plan for that if you're visiting during a busy time. Service was on the slower side, and unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the deluxe chicken sandwich--it was overcooked and didn't live up to expectations. Overall, the wine selection and charcuterie concept are highlights, but the food and service could use some improvement.

The ambiance is wonderful along with the food from the delicious hamburgers to charcuterie boards. Wonderful selection of on tap beers, wine, and mixed drinks. Our favorite place to go when we can on weekends!!

Small parking lot but look for signs for additional spots. I was there on a Sunday around 12:30 and it was not crowded. There's a small bar in front with a few beers; more, including some local crafts beers, can be found in the bar across the wooded patio. I only had a beer; the food I saw looked tasty. I attached pictures of the menu. They have live music and special events; check their socials for dates!

I was super impressed with Crystal Springs! I met some girlfriends after work around 4:30 and was able to snag parking right up front. There was plenty of outdoor seating and we took advantage of the weather and live music by sitting outside. The espresso martini was strong - and without cream - which is my preference. It was dusted with cocoa powder on the rim and it was heavenly. I would come back just for this drink. My friend ordered apps - corn dip and fried jalapeños. Both were good but not stand out. My burger- The Brute- was amazing though. The flavors worked so well together and the whole thing was gone in ten minutes. Service was extremely slow. We couldn't find our server a lot of the time and it felt like she was always across the patio and not attentive when we needed her. We had to flag down another server to put our food order in. My friend said this kind of service has been consistent each time she has visited. So many they need more staff or some additional training? All in all, it was a great night and I will be back!

Great getaway spot for the young and young at heart. Food -- fantastic. Lots to choose from on their menu. Pretty awesome drink menu as well. Highly recommend. Go relax under the shade of majestic trees on this breezy patio and take in some live music while you're there.

Hidden gem. Think if you wanted to build a place with good food and affordable prices based on places you have traveled to and wanted to hang out in.... Well that's what the owners did. Prices so you can afford to be a regular. Outdoor seats, free parking, indoor seating w/AC. TVs for sports, cornhole, music and great staff. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menu is simple and good.

Stopped in during dinner time on a Friday. Has a relaxed very chill atmosphere. Has indoors eating as well as outside. They had someone playing music. It was very nice hangout spot. Tried the cowboy caviar which we enjoyed very much. I had the deluxe chicken sandwich which I enjoyed very much. My husband tried the big kat burger which he loved. They do have brunch and a variation of cheeseboards which I do plan on returning to try. They also have a good variety of beer and wine and liquor.

Okay! Talk about kicking off 2025 Yelp Year with a bang I just found another gem riight down the street from my house and I could tell from just one visit I'm going to be a regular at this awesome place! I saw that they were building something in this space that's been empty for a long time and I got excited hoping for exactly this kind of place and let me tell you Crystal Springs hideaway does not disappoint, The interior is beautiful with Hardwoods and very nice furniture, the bars are absolutely great. There is a big covered and heated patio on the side of the building and a very large outside seating area in the back which has it's own awesome little bar down at the bottom with 25 beers on tap! Yes you read that right 25! Also out back is a little cubby area where they will have live music soon and I'm looking forward to that. When you first walk in the first thing you'll see is an amazing selection of wine and a really cool charcuterie station where you can order a variety of different charcuterie to go with the selection of wine they offer. The Main Kitchen is run by Big Kat burgers which made a name for themselves with their burger food truck and l gotta say these burgers are super delicious! This is a local family-owned business and they are so nice and welcoming, the service so friendly and quick as well. Don't walk, run to go check out Crystal Springs Hideaway ASAP! I'll definitely be back very soon!

Checked out Crystal Springs Hideaway during their soft opening in Fort Worth and was pleasantly surprised! This new spot combines a beer garden with an impressive cheese and wine shop concept. The draft beer selection is solid. They've got a great mix of Texas craft beers (eg Community and Karbach) alongside familiar domestics. The cocktail menu is standard. Looking forward to their Ranch Water on a warm day. The highlight was definitely their cheese and wine shoppe concept. You can build your own boards with various meats and cheeses, which is a fun interactive experience. The Italian board ($30) was beautifully presented with pecorino, prosciutto, and all the fixings. The wine selection is extensive with over 135 labels available. Atmosphere-wise, it's got that classic Texas beer garden feel with a nice balance of indoor/outdoor space. The converted bungalow gives it character. Parking was a small hastle given the big crowd for the openi g. Will definitely be back to try their brunch. Bagel and Lox board looks stellar. Pro tip: Check out their wine shop inside for bottles to take home.

For most others, there's plenty of accessible parking and it's kinda tucked away in it's own lot. The burger offered was the "Our Taphouse" - a dry ranch seasoned beef patty with shredded cheese and topped with carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon jam. The burger was definitely good. It's messy since there are some more toppings prone to falling out. I will say that in terms of taste, it was a bit too sweet for my preference. I think it was the combination of carmelized onions and bacon jam that made it too much for me that it overwhelmed the savoriness that I'd prefer to be the main flavor with the burger. This time I didn't dine in personally but I will say that the place looks like it has a nice vibe to it, especially outside. It looks like there's plenty of seating with an area for musicians to perform. I'm looking forward to coming back one day and maybe watching a game and getting a drink.

We ordered the shrimp shumai, hot oil wontons, and crispy shrimp balls for our appetizers as well which were all very good. For entrees we ordered General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef but the Mongolian beef came out tasting unusually sweet so we informed the waitress and she replaced it with a different entree the longhorn beef and peppers which was really good, a few minutes later the manager came to the table and asked about the Mongolian beef and let us know that she had them remake it, she brought it back out to the table and this time it was done perfectly with a good amount of spice and no sweetness we were also able to keep all three entrees which was cool and she took the Mongolian beef off of our check which we very much appreciated. Every time we go to Fred's we ask ourselves why it's taken so long to come back. The hamburgers are gigantic, juicy & almost cannot fit into your mouth. Delicious!! One of our party had the chicken-fried-steak & declared it to be the best he's ever had. We had a real sweet server named, Savannah, who gave us excellent service & was pleasant & cheerful throughout. Apparently they are a former food truck that now runs the kitchen inside of Crystal Springs Hideaway. I ended up sitting at the bar with the Lindas (there were three of them). It was early in the day so I did not join them for a drink, I was just getting out to try something new and support the North Texas Food Bank. The special for burger week was the Zaddy which came with pickled red onion, lettuce, goat cheese, fresh jalapenos and raspberry jam on a potato bun. Their burgers are 1/4 and unfortunately the meat got completely lost under so much going on. Goat cheese and raspberry are powerful flavors and the jalapeno slices were thicker than the patty. I didn't even taste the pickled red onions. The very last bite was more meat than topping and I could actually taste the beef. It is a shame because it was really good. The quality of the meat and the sear on the burger were well done. Their regular priced burgers range from $10.50 to $14, and sides are extra. It is pretty steep for a 1/4 lb burger, and I would suggest something with a bit less flair.
