After the installation, I had several concerns involving the cleanup, warranty documentation, communication, and a few installation details. I reached out to the company, and instead of becoming defensive, Brandon Mantel (President) personally responded with a detailed email addressing every concern. Dom also returned to my home to deliver the warranty paperwork, clean up the remaining mess, and review the installation with me. He listened to my concerns, apologized for the issues, and acknowledged that one component of the existing plumbing should have been replaced. No company gets every job perfect. What separates a good company from a great one is how they respond when something doesn't go as planned. Donamarc took ownership where appropriate, communicated professionally, and worked to make things right. That level of accountability and customer service is something I genuinely appreciate, and it's why I would recommend them. I personally couldn't be more grateful.

Since we are on a well system I contacted this company for a diagnostic examination. The following day Dennis arrived and conducted an extremely thorough review of our well system and determined that the pump needed to be replaced to include a pipe and electrical wiring. Dennis is one of those individuals who is courteous, professional and demonstrates a level of confidence which only comes with decades of experience. Within days the crew showed up (on time) and quickly got to work. These guys were true professionals. The system to include a new pump, electrical wiring and pipe were quickly installed. On top of that after consulting with the crew I had them do a blowout of the well. The amount of sludge and sediment that was expelled from the well was incredible. But more important the debris was completely cleaned up by the crew. This will cut down on changing my water system filter. Many thanks to this wonderful company. We were so satisfied with his work and his service that we hired him to fix a gas leak in our fireplace, too. He did, and now we have a working fireplace again, too! Thanks Anthony! Anthony was meticulous but not slow in getting the job done right, kept communication open and honest, and waited patiently at my house while I finished pricing other options. He explained that a hardware store water heater is of cheaper quality than the "professional" model he would install. He also correctly guessed that a competitive quote had come in lower because they did not factor in permitting the work, which he felt was important, and I agreed. He did look for multiple ways to save us some money, including combining visits, not charging for the initial investigation of our gas leak, discounting a subsequent job; he even researched the design lifetime of my new water heater and recommended against getting an extended warrantee in my case since the heater was built to last at least that long if not longer. Anthony and team were friendly, passionate, and a delight to have at our house. I would hire Plumbing Excellence again or call them for advice any time!

Gas company comes out to turn Gas back on and says it's still leaking. Call Buddy's back out, they now say the leak is coming from the main line going into the house, and give an estimate of almost $6000 to fix. So, let me get this straight...you want me to hire you again for a $6000 job, when i just paid you over $500 and you obviously didnt do much of anything except maybe do a pressure test which accomplished nothing and benefitted me zero? I don't think so.....

Thankful that Clearbrook Water Systems responded in a timely way to our initial phone call. My 89…read moreyer old mother's water system needed to be upgraded. Clearbrook promptly replaced the old one with a new unit. The water system wan not properly installed. The next morning, we found a big watery mess all over our kitchen floor. The Kitchen floor warped by the time that the subcontractor arrived to fix it. Twice he came to look at the floor whatever he did made matters worse. He accused us of having a warped floor all along. Not at all true. The floor had been fine before he installed the new system. He agreed to sweep up wood shavings all over our basement floor from a hole that he drilled in our basement ceiling. He did not clean up after himself under the kitchen sink. Another mess there. The floor and appliances in the basement were left a mess by his "work space." We were disheartened consumers. Neither Clearbrook nor the floor subcontractor would fix what warped floor properly. Blame shifting took place. They would not call nor make amends despite our calls and text messages. Soooo disappointed. That warped floor cost us another $700. A local handyman attempted to repair it. At least the floor was safer for my 89 year old mother to walk on now. Still today we have a bit of a warped (uneven) kitchen floor in the house. We attempted to go to small claims court for reparations due to our financial losses. Not sure who we can trust to give attention to our osmosis machine now (Streetsboro area).

I give Kinetico 2 Stars…read more I give it 2 instead of 1 only because of the product itself. The system (so far) seems to work fine. The low rating is, instead, for the people, installation, and horrendous customer service. They don't show up with what they need to do the installation so they have to reschedule. They show up more than 2 hours late to do the installation. They tell you it will take 2-3 hours to do the installation and then don't leave for more than 6 hours. When you complain, it takes 5 days for them to get around to getting back to you (I'm talking to you VP Higgins) with a pathetic, insulting "apology" and compensation offer. They do not care in the slightest whether you are satisfied or not. They got your money, they're satisfied. Buy the system if you want. But know the people will insult you, waste your entire day, and drill into the foundation of your house without asking. Up to you. P. S. UPDATE: VP Higgins has made an acceptable offer as compensation. The statements above remain true.
