WARNING: Rodents, Damaged Property & Missing Items…read more I normally do not leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience at this Public Storage location in Suwanee on McGinnis Ferry. I rented both an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, and unfortunately both were affected by what appears to be a serious rodent problem. When I went to check my belongings, I discovered that rodents had chewed through and damaged multiple items stored inside the unit. This is incredibly frustrating because the whole purpose of renting a storage unit is to protect your belongings, not have them destroyed. Even more concerning, I noticed some items were missing from my units. I cannot say exactly what happened, but discovering missing property raised major concerns for me about the security of the facility. My experience with management was also disappointing. When you're dealing with damaged and missing belongings, you hope the situation will be handled with care and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Yes, I had insurance on the unit and will be filing claims, but insurance doesn't replace the stress, time, and sentimental value of what was lost or damaged. I'm leaving this review to help others make an informed decision before storing their belongings here. Things I recommend if you consider this location: * Inspect the unit carefully before renting * Ask about pest control and security measures * Avoid storing valuables or sentimental items Personally, after this experience, I would not rent from this location again

He brought several samples and walked us through what would be the best color to install in order to make the house look even better. He recommended we use Owen Corning Duration shingles and go with Williamsburg Grey. Once that was done, the shingles and the material were delivered the day before neatly stacked. The following day his crew and him were at our place at 7:30AM. His crew took meticulous care of our yard before starting. They stared around 8:30AM and were done before 7:00PM. NOT A SINGLE NAIL LEFT BEHIND! And, many code upgrades and changes to ensure rain water is moved away from the corners of the house. Thank you Ben and crew. The following week, his gutter folks showed up and installed our new gutters and downspouts -- upgrade to a 6" gutters. Again, not a single nail was left behind and our house looked great. After calling the number on the card we set an appointment to allow a representative to test our water. The only real reason we made the appointment was to get the $25 restaurant.com gift card they offered. However, the representative was a polite and knowledgeable man. During the informative presentation he mentioned benefits to using the water system that would fix concerns I had been having for years. (I had not told him of the concerns.) Specifically, intestinal digestive issues. He also mentioned elimination of dry from showering, elimination of calcium build up and hard water stains, better tasting water, and better clothes washing (colors last longer and feel softer). Well, I can't tell if there's a difference in the clothes washing solely due to the water system purchase because shortly after, we bought a new washing machine. But, all the other benefits are noticeable! The company installed the system and placed a separate faucet next to the kitchen sink in the granite counter. The installation was beautifully done, matches the brushed metal faucet we already had and looks like it has always been there. Although the installation was noisy, the parts are inconspicuous. There is even a monitor that displays how many gallons of water are used, how much salt is left, etc. The filter lasts about a year. Once the filter has buildup, the system stops releasing water. So until the filter is replaced, we're drinking faucet water. Right away I noticed a difference in my bowels and digestion. (not good). I think the system is great if you're concerned about you and your family's health and the water in your home. The one negative thing I have is that I believe it is more expensive than necessary. A similar system probably can be purchased elsewhere. But, I wasn't aware of this until after our purchase was made. Also, the company provides a year's worth of organic household products that are wonderful! Oatmeal soap, shampoo, dishwasher soap, all-purpose cleaner, window cleaner, etc. I miss the oatmeal soap; it was so good for our skin and the shower drains.

We went with this company only because they are connected with Costco, assuming that meant quality, transparency, and accountability. That assumption was completely wrong. We paid $8,500 for a water softener and RO system, and from day one it has been problem after problem. The system never alerted us about salt refills, and no one clearly explained this to us. As a result, the unit ran without salt for many months, which is extremely alarming and potentially damaging to plumbing, appliances, and water quality. This is not a small oversight -- it is a serious failure for a system at this price point. After installation, the company dramatically increased the price of RO filters, effectively trapping us into sky-high ongoing costs. Once the system is installed, you realize it is a never-ending money pit. You are locked in, with no reasonable alternatives, and the expenses keep adding up. The sales process is polished and convincing, but after the check is cashed, support and transparency disappear. The Costco association gives a false sense of security. Do not assume Costco's name means protection here -- it does not. If you are considering this system, please do yourself a favor and walk away. There are far better, more honest, and more affordable options available. This was a huge financial regret, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to stay as far away as possible.

My water heater decided not to break on Tuesday evening, and I needed someone to come out and see what went wrong. It was roughly around 630 at night when I realized I had no hot water, so I Googled hot water repair services within my community. I called two plumbing services that were "near me" and both services told me I was out of their servicing zone. So I reached out to my neighbor and he gave me Aaron Plumbing's information. Now, but this time it was around 8:30 PM, but I still pick up the phone and gave them a call and a lovely lady answered the phone immediately. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was remarkably friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, and she went ahead and looked at the schedule for Wednesday. She told me that she could have a plumber out to my house between 8am and 12noon and I was excited that she was able to fit me into their very busy schedule. The young man, Tom Page, that came out Wednesday morning was also very kind and efficient. He was able to tell me that my water heater, which was the original to the house, would no longer be working for me, and that I would need a new one. I actually knew that I would need to replace my water heater at some point in time when I bought my home in 2019. But, as always, it's a disappointment even though you know it's going to happen. Tom actually had the correct water heater on hand and within a couple of hours had my water heater completely replaced. You'll see through the pictures below the old unit, and the new unit. When Tom was done with the installation, he walked me through exactly what he had done, he showed me pictures of what had been, and what was now fixed or replaced. We also had a great conversation on how to purge the silt in the bottom of the tank, once a year, to maintain the good health of my brand new water heater. I would certainly recommend Aaron Plumbing to anyone in the northern Cumming area of Georgia, because Dawsonville plumbing and other plumbing facilities located in Cumming, GA do not service my neighborhood.

When I told the tech I had a cheaper quote he started to sound like a used salesman, dropping the price by $400.00. I used another licensed plumber and they replaced the same footage in addition a cutoff was replaced in the garage that was not in Aaron's quote all for $1450.00 with a warranty. So glad I did not get taken by this company, buyer beware. So glad mine was not an emergency so I could shop around.
