I followed a link for a low priced ticket after a search on Kayak. There was a glitch where I couldn't enter my sons birthday year. As soon as I left the site to go back to Kayak I received a call from Crystal Travel saying my cart was pending and did I need help. I explained the problem and the agent advised me to add a random birthday for my son and then to call him back and he would fix it. Maybe that's legit, maybe it's not. Very deceitful in their practice of always listing the lowest price, easily a couple of hundres of more, compated to the majority of booking engines. When you couldn't get the stated price on their booking engine, they call your phone nonstop trying to upsell you tickets of the next price tier, in my case, from $2775 for 3 tickets to $3124! Go with the more honest booking engines that are usually listed at around the same price range from one another. Worse yet, when I told them I could get it for $2850 on the airline's direct website, the rep dared me to get that price and even offered to hold the line while I book it. I'm a thrifty person so I tried to camp a cheap ticket. On 07/19/2022, I booked a flight for 2 people (me and my gf) from USA to Vietnam around at 5:30pm, the ticket is $1808 ($904/each) and the airline is Asiana Airlines. After that, there is a guy whose name Leo Miller in here "Crystal Travel" contacted me back and said that I'm not able to afford that price since it was too cheap and gave me a bunch of hilarious reason. Then he started quoting me a really high price which is more higher than the price of original airline and asked me to confirm. Firstly, he quoted me at around $2600. Secondly, he quoted me back at around $2300. Lastly, he quoted me back again at around $2000 more. And I denied all of them, I asked him why you charged me more, he made up that this price is for selected seat, I will book for you guys to sit together and your $1808 is not included the checked bags. I took my confirmation number and searched it up on Asiana Airlines, it popped up that I got free 2x23kg/person checked bag, free carry-on.I told him that for the seat, I don't want to pay extra to be together. On the day of departure, I will go to the airline to get tickets and seats and then go to the airport to sit. I don't need easy-refund or easy-cancellation so don't need to charge anything. I asked him why I got charged more? If you didn't agree on my price, why would you put it on sale then your customer booked it and you gave them a bunch of crapped reasons which don't make sense? Worst experience ever!! So I booked international flights on May 19th 2022 and Booking confirmation is #CTUO169284. After 12 hours no email confirmation about booking nor e-ticket being sent on my email. So I called them the next morning and was in disbelief that they said they already issued the ticket and had sent it to me, but I know that they never actually did that. I know this because I constantly checked on my emailbox periodically either on inbox or spam/trash. Their agent informed me that my plane ticket has been issued and she also informed me there's technical issue on why Crystaltravel.com hadn't sent my confirmation ticket and wanted me to wait for another hour until they had resolved the problem. When I crosschecked with Turkish Airlines there's no reservation made on behalf of my name on that date. This was odds considering who's not telling the truth here. So I called Crystaltravel.com agent again, this time he promised me that Crystaltravel going to send me the promised ticket in another 2 hours and he said he could assure that. Well time is clicking and it's been almost 4 hours and still nothing. Not even a confirmation email regarding my booking. They had me talking to one of their supervisors and telling me this time that they hadn't managed to book me a ticket because the price has gone up. Wowww that was a big giant red flag. Not that they couldn't manage to book me a ticket but they had also lied to me several times. I finally got responses by their customer service and I decided to just just cancel my booking and give me a full refund because it's still less than 24 hours. I also finally bought a ticket directly from the airline website which I got my ticket right away in just a matter of seconds. I have never have this bad experience booking a plane tickets up until now, I have traveled and been on flights more than 1000 times in my life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DON'T EVEN GO ON THEIR WEBSITE! I found this website on line and saw that their prices were WAY less than everyone else's. I was so excited I put in all my info to get ready to pay, but I am traveling with a friend and wanted to make sure she was ok with the plans. The web page has a timer on the bottom and while we were talking it timed our and i was told i would have to refresh the deals page. About 15 minutes later i get an email confirming my booked flights! I was so confused. At first i thought it was just an email about the deal that was available. But no, it said I had purchased the tickets. So I figured no big deal, I would just give the company a call and fix it. The first guy I talked to Russel, seemed ok, he said the flight was canceled told me he was confirming the cancel. But I waited about an hour and did not get any cancellation email. This is a big purchase (about $1,300) so I really wanted to make sure I was not going to be charged. I called back and asked to talk to Russel once more, I was transferred to call waiting and had to hang up to call back. The second time a lady answered and I asked for Russel, SHE HUNG UP! Now I knew something was fishy, so I called back. Finally got a hold of Russel and he told me the flight was never confirmed. He said there didn't need to be a cancellation notice since the flight was never confirmed.... This company is really dodgy. I paid the fee online, waited to receive an e-ticket in my email, but nothing came. I called and was told that the tickets would be forthcoming in the next couple hours. 20 hours later, there was still no ticket. I called and said that I would contact my bank and alert them to the fraud. Then the tickets arrived. At that point I wanted to cancel and get a full refund. They said that they would charge me the cancellation fee from the airline- but there is no cancellation fee charged within 24 hours. Posing as United Airlines, they fraudulently quoted me a $2,500 change fee for a flight I was going to miss due to an emergency, then said $500 based on the day I was having and induced me to give them my credit card information to make the change. I later found out that a representative from Crystal Travel, named "Martin," called United Airlines fraudulently stating that he was my husband and needed to change my ticket as I was "grieving." They state that they have no relationship with Sunrise Travel (of course they are happy to provide you with the voucher). The catch -- you must submit $198 (for two) within 14 days by cashier's check or money order only (need I say more), and will then be sent instructions for redeeming your cruise. My first Impression of Crystal Travel was not very good. I was offered 2 Round Trip Tickets and 2 Nights in a nice hotel anywhere in the USA if I would come in and listen to their 90 Minute Presentation. The marketing person assured me that this was not a Timeshare Presentation. I own a Timeshare and I'm not happy with it. The presentation seems similar to a Timeshare. But, if you listen closely it's easy to comprehend the differences between Timeshare and a Travel Club. Crystal Travel is more like a Travel Agency then a Timeshare. So, I decided to sign up. So Far, I saved a little over a 1,000 on my first trip to Hawaii. The Gift was from a 3rd Party Organization. I had to pay $198.00 for the 2 Round Trip Tickets. But, I went to NYC. My wife booked a flight with Crystal travel trough Momondo because they offered the best price for the selected dates and flights from IAD to SOF and back. She entered the information needed and checked out. They charged my American Express card right away and sent her an e-mail "Booking Under Process" and at the top left corner of the e-mail is written "for changes to this itinerary,, please call us on 1-888-299-4844". She called the number and is said "the phone number you have called is currently unavailable". I got home after work at 10 pm and she was crying and told me they took our money and didn't give us the ticket. This is when I was getting frustrated. I checked their Terms & Conditions and it says "All the offers, prices and even the sale conditions, are subject to change without notice". This is ridiculous! I called the number posted in the terms and conditions and the gentlemen who piked up said that the payment was declined. I called American Express and they told me this is impossible. I called Crystal Travel again and they told me this flight is not available any more. I checked momondo and they were offering the same flight for the same price. I called Crystal Travel again and then they tried to offer me more expensive flight and then I told them to cancel everything and send me e-mail confirming the cancellation. After all this I called them more than 20 times to get my confirmation for the canceled booking and they were ether trying to transfer me to unavailable extension or just hung up. After 25 - 30 phone calls and 2 hours wasted I got my confirmation and booked with other web site for 10 minutes and for just $5 more than the price offered by Crystal Travel. read more

We needed to make a flight change, our flight that got delayed was from Maun, Botswana to Johannesburg, SA. Flight Air Botswana 211 (March 31, 2019), these tickets were purchased separately. We were supposed to arrive in JNB at 3:50pm. We didn't arrive until a little after 7pm because of delays Air Botswana did their job and made sure we were on the next flight out even with the delays. We were notified of the delays on the morning of 3/31/2019 after we checked in at the airport. Hence, we would miss our flight in JNB (booked by Crystal Travel). We called Crystal Travels several times (have phone bill and emails to prove) to change our flight to the later one that left JNB at 9:20 pm instead of 7:20 pm. I personally called British Air to change our fights and because we purchased through Crystal Travel they were unable to help us. They were unable to help because they didn't know the price we paid for our tickets because it was bundled and they didn't know what the difference in price would be to change it. We would still be able to catch our flight from LHR to CLT but since we wouldn't make our first flight from JNB the second leg would automatically cancel. We were unable to contact Crystal Travel for many hours on 3/31/2019 through your "hotline", other phone numbers online and email. We had to purchase new tickets to get us home. I feel like we should be reimbursed for those expenses because it was of no fault of our own that we couldn't get in touch with Crystal Travel considering they are a 24/7 company as advertised. My flight purchase from Expedia was $2505.46 to get us home. There has been many email exchanges with Crystal Travel who refuses to take responsibility, and even says they have done "thorough" investigations and determined we never called. They want to offer us $50. This is the responsibility of Crystal Travel and the lack of customer service that was needed the morning of our trip. Me and 7 other family and friends booked airline tickets through this company, a few day before our travel date someone from this company canceled our reservations with united airlines and told us due to traffic control issues the airline canceled our reservations. They tried to trick us into going to some store and add money to a debit card and call them back with a reference number showing that we added money to a card and they can get us back on another flight giving us the same arrival time that we previously had. I call the airline directly and they told me that our reservations has been canceled by crystal travel and not by them and the flight we were scheduled for is still set to go out. I then knew that we were being scam by crystal travel. Booking from hell! I would not recommend this company. I attempted to book a flight on Jet Blue with my daughter on the same flight, and was unable to due to the flight being fully booked already. I tried to call Jet Blue and apparently called Crystal Travel bookings due to their listings being shown as Jet Blue on Google. The agent on the line assured me that i would be on the same flight and gave me the impression that I was booking thru Jet Blue. I did not know that it was a agency till i received the itinerary. Fast forward a couple weeks later, and the flight was not at the same time but 2 hours earlier then the time for the flight my daughter was taking. On top of that, when i received the information of the flight, i looked and saw that we payed $300+ more then the actual cost of the flight for a flight that i could have booked myself on Jet Blue directly. Continued shopping, and found a flight out of San Jose to Paris round trip for $428 through Crystal Travel. I recently attended a presentation at this place. The staff was friendly and nice. We ( my boyfriend and I ) sat in for a 1 hour presentation on the travel services that were available. If I had the money to buy into this place, I would have, because the discounted deals that they give you are very good, I just didn't have 7,000 to 10,000 dollars to use! I don't know why so many people are complaining about the free gifts that they receieved. Most people should know that even if you win something for free, you still have to pay the taxes on it! I really like the dining voucher for $ 300 worth of food, you do have to pay a $ 29.99 fee to receive it, but I don't mind, because in the long run, you will get $ 270.00 worth of meals for FREE. I have contacted Crystal Travel on 2AUG 2018 to change my travel dates. I was under the impression that I was contacting Qatar Airways, not Crystal Travel. Crystal Travel is so deceptive that when I searched for Qatar Airways on the web, the first item list was "qatarairways.crystal.us/" They initially told me that to change the travel dates, it will cost me $350. At that point I asked them if I can upgrade the ticked from economy to Buiness (the first leg) They told me that the total cost of upgrading to business and date change will be $750.00. I agreed to it, and provided them with my credit card information. My original travel date was 3AUG,2018, therefore I was running out of time, and was trying to get it done ASAP. They sent me an email to concur with the payment, and I greed without reading the content. when I looked at my email later that day, I noticed that there were two charges on my credit card. $750 to Crystal Travel, and $120 to Qatar Airways, furthermore, they issued an economy class ticket, not business. On the following day, Friday 3AUG after sending an email to Crystal Travel in which I expressed my dissatisfaction of what they did, I received a phone call from the same person I spoke with on 2AUG (He introduced himself as George) I voiced to him my dissatisfaction with what they have done. unfortunately I was in the middle of doing other things when he called, therefore after brief conversation I asked him if I can call him back later. He told me that he will call me back in couple of hours. George said in our phone conversation that there was misunderstanding, and he offered a partial solution, such as giving me better seat in the economy cabin. Well, Today is 14 August, and George has not called back yet. They called at 6:30 and 7:00 PM from a call center in the Philippines with a promotion about some free travel and listen to a presentation. They actually told me they were calling from T.O. ! The rep logged in under a different name, the site he was using was a generic travel search site for travel agents and the prices he offered were not any lower than Expedia. Complete waste of time and rip off! I was promised 2 roundtrip tickets and $300 dining voucher. Roundtrip tickets cost $150 each (plus taxes etc) are only good to 30 locations and need to depart Monday/Tuesday and return Wednesday/Thursday OF SAME WEEK. They are not airline tickets but a hotel package. The dining voucher costs $30 and is not a voucher but a membership to a dining club (that you can purchase on your own for $30) and gives you $25/month offers that you need to redeem each month or lose. We knew we weren't going to purchase anything therefore the more I said "NO", the feistier they became.
