Favorite optometrist I've had yet! The employees here are always so friendly and accommodating and most importantly the optometrist is very nice and friendly! They have a good variety of glasses and always call you before your appointment as a friendly reminder which I love since I can be pretty forgetful sometimes. So far so good, staff are helpful. The only thing that I did not like is that they don't give receipts such as sales orders and returns. And if you ask for a receipt, they give just a piece of paper. Seems like they don't want responsibility if in case the returns was lost, so therefore you don't have proof. I am not impressed in their business culture. read more

So glad my friend recommended this place to me. Came here on a Saturday at 10am expecting to be the first person here, but it was soooo busy. It continued to be busy for the next 2.5 hours that I was here (was waiting for someone to get the exam too). Staff - super friendly and professional. Tony helped me pick out a nice pair of glasses without being pushy. He just left me alone to try them on. Dr Nguyen is very knowledgeable. Didn't try to upsell me other services like my last optometry place. Extra point for giving me my prescription without me having to ask for it. I am so glad that I decided to change my optometrist & found this place. Dr. Linh is super friendly and caring. During my exam with her, she went over the process and explained everything to me very thoroughly. I had mention to her that previously even with glasses on, my eyes still need to work really hard to see. It turns out that I have astigmatism, which my old optometrist did not tell me. I've been wearing the wrong prescription for many years. Recently I had to get one of my glasses fix due to the little piece for the nose bridge went missing. I haven't had the opportunity to be seen by an ophthalmologist here but when I took my girlfriend in for her annual check up I notice by how polite and courteous the Dr and her staff were. It is really rare to see such things now a day, especially within the area. Aside from courteous staff, they have a huge high end selections of glasses ranging from Oakley to Tiffany. They also carry simple one too so don't worry about finance. When my time is due, I definitely would like to give this place a try. Beside, you can't beat a $40 exam for cash payer. read more

It is a hidden place but worth the find. The wait were very short...no longer than 15 minutes Dr. Linh was great and patient to explain every procedure she was doing on me. I came for an examination for my contact lens and glasses. The total cost for both were $60. That was a deal! When i asked her if i need a new pair of glasses, she ask to take a look at my old pair. After she examined it, she suggested that i shouldn't waste my money and just kept my old pair. My eyes didn't change much over the few years so there was no need in invest in a new pair of eye wear. Excellent optometry office. I was a walk in on a random day but they took me in an hour because the optometrist was on lunch. The doctor took her time with me during our appointment. Staff was very helpful with questions regarding my VSP insurance and selecting glasses. When making purchases I enjoy taking my time and didn't feel rushed. I've used eye exam 2000 for so long, it was far from the year 2000 when I started going there / lens crafters. I thought i'd try more of a small business type of a optometrist because i'd like to start establishing a relationship with one. Eye exam 2000 dr's constantly change. Everyone at this office is very accommodating. I like that. Dr. Linh was vey nice and thorough with the "camera one or camera two" part of the exam. I was taken by total surprise when she told me to look up, and then proceeded to take my contact lens out with her finger. Bizarre. Not that it hurt or anything, but maybe a little warning would have been nice? She not only takes out your contacts for you, but she'll put them in for you once you update your prescription as well. Weird feeling. The pre-exam only consisted of looking into a device for a few seconds. My previous exams would test things like depth perception and range of sight. It did feel a little dirty and outdated inside - but that wouldn't stop me from recommending them. I'll be back for my exam next year! read more

OK. This is my favorite optometrist by far. And I've been to about a million. I have the worst eyes, needing glasses since I was 9 and I am basically in dire need of laser surgery. My glasses and contact lenses are hard to come by, since my eyes are so bad. All the doctors I had before were not very good about finding the perfect prescription nor providing good care for my eyes. DOCTOR The doctor [Dr Linh] here has been nothing but awesome. Most of her business is through word of mouth. She's attentive, thorough, and always willing to find the lens to suit your eyes. TRIAL CONTACT LENS I think I've tried about 4 pairs of trials lens, just because she wants to make sure that they fit me comfortably. Each time, we try the latest type, and it usually qualifies for me since my eyes are so bad, I need all the help I can get! LOCATION The location of her office is a bit strange. She tells me that they have been at that location for a really long time, but the center is dead. There's a new Fresh n' Easy in the center, but that's about it. The shopping center needs massive renovation, and new tenants, but her office is really nice inside. Once you step in, there is a small play area for kids, a huge selection of glasses lining the left wall, and a comfortable seating area. The office is so roomy but you can't tell from the outside. read more

Yes, the strip mall the office is located in is a old, but Dr. Linh is great. She explains everything to you and despite her being a small practice, she beat the Costco price for both eye exam and contact lenses. In fact, my wife likes her lenses better than what she was getting from Costco, she will never return there. She can normally see a new patient same day. Patient from hell? Present! Yep, I'm the patient who shows up with no appointment, 15 mins before closing time, asking if they can get their eyes checked, pick a new pair of frames, and use an insurance card that may or may not be valid...(their guess was as good as mine). However, no need to worry, bcs to my non-surprise, they welcomed me with open arms! That's right! Better respect my lack of consideration for business hours! Dr. Linh and her staff were wonderful! She glanced at the clock and saw her freedom was a mere 15 mins away, and yet she still gave the thumbs up to see me. The exam was quick and painless, and if you can get a paranoid hypochondriac, who's positive she's got eye cancer, to write that on a Yelp review, you know you've got some seriously mad skills to pay those optometrists' bills! If you need someone to hold your hand while you pick out your new set of frames, the staff is also happily available to make recommendations, take polls in the office, and stare at you as you go back and forth about which frames make you look less like an unapproachable, nerdy, bingo-ing granny and more like a smart, fun, young, hip, yet still responsible and respectable 20-something. Wow, so now everything feels like its in high definition mode because i just tried on my first pair of nice ray ban glasses! Having 20/20 vision for as long as ive been around, i was surprised when going on a ride on my motorcycle at night how i couldn't see some words from a distance. Words were blurry and hey, I'm not intoxicated, what the heck is going on? The good news, Dr. Linh is pretty good at patient eye assessments & rxed me the perfect script to unblur everything on a Saturday, last minute! Short wait, cheapest eye assessment for cash pricing ($40, hey sure as heck beats your 80$ to $120 assessment. I came in last minute before they were closing up and one of the staff members, Kim was sooo patient with me! I was that annoying customer that knew nothing about glasses, style, fit or frame & kim was the awesome crystal vision employee that seriously is helpful, polite & knowledgeable she wasn't pushy just extremely helpful & empathetic. With all the money i saved on my eye assessment i spent it on a decent pair of stylish ray bans 5184. Tony the lense pro also was honest & knowledgeable about the type of lense to get, he gave me the 411 on my first specs & kim gave a discount even though i didn't ask for one. I rather spend a tiny bit more here than inconveyance myself running around town when everything you need is right here in their office. When you see the center in which the optometrist is locate, you may wonder if it will be any good. The center is run down as a previous post stated. The office has a large reception area with one wall dedicated to frames and sunglasses. The staff are nice and helpful. They are also fluent in Vietnamese, I believe. Making appointments, using insurance and reimbursement handling was well done. The optometrist is nice and professional. My exam was thorough. She was helpful in selecting different contacts for my eye type. When I come in for my yearly checkup, I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes. I've been seeing Dr. Linh for 3 years now and every time I'm glad I initially chose her to be my optometrist. Her office is definitely off the beaten path but a diamond in the rough. As you are driving up, don't let her location fool you, she could very well me situated in any high end plaza along the coast. The service is always kind and endearing. She takes her time with you and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. What I like best about her is she's always listening to you. Even when I'm asking her a question that I'm sure she's heard a million times, she listens to me as if she has heard it for the first time. That is what you call quality patient care. Dr. Anh Linh is very well-educated and accomodating to any of your needs. She's perceptive to everyone's financial situations and to the type of insurance you have and gives you her feedback on the best options. For example, she suggests different frames to look at and when it comes to prescribing medicine, she makes sure she gives you insurance-acceptable medication. She is helpful and amiable in all aspects. She has a lot of assistants working for her at the moment, so service is very quick! They also fix your frames for free if it becomes loose over time or if you dented it, etc.! This office really gives you your space and all the time you need to choose your new frame. They also have a waiting area right in front of the receptionist desk with magazines and a little play area for toddlers. read more

I was referred to Dr. Linh from a friend of a friend's friend. Yeah I know confusing. Well the same reason I initially went in to Crystal Vision was the same reason I was conflicted to go (this person recommending). After 2 more failed attempts to find a Eye Doctor who can evaluate me correctly and provide the type of service I require, I finally give in. Let's just say now that I've been coming to this place since 2010! Remember that person who recommended me (didn't want to go because of him) he is now one of my best friends . The irony in it all is just hilarious. On my first visit Dr. Linh knew what was hampering my vision and gave me the best possible outcome to help improve my overall sight, very grateful. Plus when your here they give you that whole "we're family" vibe and I love it. Great staff the care they provide is outstanding they make you a priority add those things on to the long list of reasons to give them your business. What did we learn? Don't waste time like I did! My family and I have been clients to Dr. Linh for over 5 years now and we definitely are here to stay. She's very calm and makes you feel at ease. Her staff isalways polite and well mannered. They are all pretty happy people and they all assist in making your visits as pleasant as possible. I'm not sure how other insurances or optometrists work, but Dr. Linh is very fair and upfront with her costs. I also like the fact that if you don't use your allotted credit from your insurance, she will save the remaining balance for you to use next year in case you want to go for those $400 eyeglasses but don't want to pay out of your pocket for them. Fabulous Staff! I have gone to this office for several years now with wonderful results. Recently I was trying to save some money and went to Americas Best eyeglasses. I did in fact save money however the quality of the glasses and the over all result does not even compare to Crystal Vision. As a result I now have an appointment with Crystal Vision. ... because I really need to see. Moral of the story. Don't skimp when it comes to your eyes. I made a very big mistake in doing so. They maybe a little pricey but well worth it in the long run if you actually want to see. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. Office is clean and welcoming. And the Dr. Is the nicest lady I have ever met in the medical field. She is just FABULOUS!. A big thank you to everyone at Crystal Vision. And you have moved closer to my home I couldn't be happier.
