He sent me a very complete list, but apparently the crew did not get it. The crew showed up to repair the chimney and was up on my roof for a good part of the day. Before leaving they told me the job was completed. The insert technician showed up to put the new fire place in an couldn't, because the chimney was NEVER repaired. ‍ When they returned and asked why the job was not done (even though I was told it was) they said they didn't have the materials to do it. Finally, we thought the job was complete. The first winter storm, at the beach, blew the entire top of the chimney. Note, no other neighbors had chimney damage from the storm. For every appointment they have been 1.5 to 2 hours late. GPS gives them a clear idea that it takes 2.5 hours to drive from their business to my home. When I contact them, after they are a half hour late, I'm told they left an hour ago. NOT RELIABLE! I am left feeling very uncertain if the job has been done correctly.

See my other reviews for my experience with a different company that was very poor. On January 11th, my wife and I had dealt with the other company enough... So we stopped at the fire station to see if they could recommend someone for us. A man named Jerry came out and introduced himself, he is a volunteer with the Fire Department and he has an HVAC business that also does chimney care. Jerry was extremely polite and gave us his card. Our chimney was swept 2 days later and he was extremely thorough. He swept the chimney, vacuumed out the flew, and cleaned the entire fire place area. He did a great job and we couldn't be more pleased. He placed sheets down to keep our floors clean and he even cleaned the roof area around our chimney for us. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Jerry! Our experience was super positive. If you need HVAC or sweep help, give them a call. What an awesome local company that still knows what customer service is. Not to mention 3 days for a turn around on a sweep is pretty fast. We will call him next year without a doubt. (As long as we are still here).
