This place is a throwback, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's the sort of friendly neighborhood hangout get-together type of place that while growing up I used to see a lot more of. People of all ages and lifestyles come here to meet up with each other over a great cup of coffee and a good meal. One of the factors for the great ambience is the presence of the owners, Eng and Sunny. They are the nicest people you could want to meet and make their customers feel like family. Now for the food. I fully agree with other reviews that their donuts are the best in town. They're baked every morning and are always fresh. My favorites are the apple fritters, very flavorful and baked with just the right amount of crispiness. Then the breakfast cannot be beat for the price. Eggs any style, bacon, hash brown and toast for only a few dollars, and very good at that. While I usually come here for breakfast I can also recommend their burgers, and a personal favorite, a barbecue beef sandwich that I have a hard time finding anywhere else. Sometimes I get these with a side of fries, which are always hot, crispy and delicious. But for me one of the best things about this place is the totally unpretentious atmosphere and the happy, relaxed feeling you get just being here. This is my favorite donut shop and a really sweet family runs this place too! I don't come in often as I try not to make donut consumption a frequent habit, even so, the owner Sunny always remembers me. She even remembers my boyfriends favorite donut, old fashioned, and if I come in without him she'll remind me to pick something up for him too and I am a better girlfriend for it! Are you kidding me? A great cinnamon sugar old fashioned and a delish cuppa Wolfe's French Roast for $2.00? How do they do it?!? And no SB kinda long, slow line with jibberish names for the sizes, just small, medium, large. I mean these people speak American English, not corporate silliness. I wish I could make as good a cuppa at home as Crystle's brews. And the service is always FRIENDLY. You don't get served a big plate of stuck up snobbery like some local 'coffee houses' dish w/ the joe. Most people are nice. I been coming for awhile. But, the lady who helped today was very rude. She was correcting me, when I said the wrong donut name. She was looking at her phone the whole time, helping me. Then, after She gave me my donuts , she whipped her head around fast and didn't not say Thankyou or anything. I love this place, everything about it. Their donuts are the best in town, for sure, but the real hidden gem is the other menu items. I eat breakfast here periodically and it's good and a really awesome (low) price. They have decent burgers and fries, but the chow mein - oh, the chow mein. Best I've ever had. So fresh, so tasty. The veggies in it are still so fresh and crisp, and the sauce is heavenly. And though I can't guarantee it's MSG free, I didn't get an MSG headache like I do with most other places. The coffee they serve is soooo flavorful and strong, just the way I like it. And all of this by some of the nicest people you'll ever encounter in a restaurant. The staff are super friendly and cheerful, and the food is just great. I can get a huge burger, some fries, and a drink for about ten bucks. They're also a very diverse little diner. Where else can you get won ton chicken, a double bacon cheeseburger, and donuts under one roof? This is one of our favorite places for breakfast. It's a real Mom & Pop feel. The owners are super nice, and if you have kids, there are toys to play with while you eat.
