The cafe is clean and bright. Plenty of comfortable seating. You go and grab your tongs and tray and load up the tray with what you like from the many assortments of pastries and other items, and then go to the counter and pay and order a beverage if you like. The girl at the counter was nice and helpful. They call your name when ready. I had the frappe and a pain aux raisin pastry. First bite was dry, not flaky, the flavor is okay. I would not order again. The frappe is good. The prices were on par with other eateries.

What a great option in Santa Rosa! This place was beautiful inside with the lighting, the clean lines, plenty of seating, small window for watching the magic, and all the sweet creations in plain view. It's a bakery wonderland. We came a few days after opening so obviously the service will improve. It was a bit hectic but everyone was mostly friendly. There's literally so much variety and I enjoyed being able to walk through and choose what I wanted. I'm torn on the pricing for the products since it's "self-service" and though I realize that's a mental thing, it is how I feel. I think when you see allllll the options but prices are high, it leaves me bummed to not be able to try more. Does that make sense? We selected a few typical items to provide a little variety and overall, enjoyed everything. Croissant was flaky, warmed perfectly. The choux cream bread had the perfect balance of sweetness. Almond croissant (my go-to order when available) was pretty good. Profiteroles were creamy and cool. I know it's not a French bakery and I shouldn't compare. But as a consumer, I have to decide to drive for this $$ almond croissant or for the $$ almond croissant from my favorite bakery in the Barlow, since pricing is the same. ...and in this case, there's no comparison. Paris Baguette is really good at what they do but it's not a slam dunk for me. I'll surely be back but will be more intentional on what I try.

Another great experience. Love the pastries, cakes, mochi donuts, pizzas and more!! Brought our kids here and they loved it even more. Very clean as always, even their bathrooms are well maintained. Service was good and if you have a special occasion I would highly recommend grabbing a cake from here.

3.5 stars for now, but hopefully our mixed experience was due to the newness and the bumps will be smoothed out as they go. The self serve bakery cases are a really fun and unique experience, and they're brimming with gorgeous pastries and baked goods. It's primarily sweet offerings, but there were a few savory options and some sandwiches. The only thing holding it back from a solid 4 star rating on our first visit was our breakfast items were still completely cold, and the current expediting system leaves much to be desired, so we instead took the breakfast sandwich and quiche home to properly heat in our own toaster oven. I look forward to returning to enjoy more of the pastries, but maybe not when I'm hungry if there's a chance of having to heat my own food or re-wait in line to have it heated by staff a second, possibly even third, time.

This place is absolutely stunning inside. I mean honestly there is so much variety. It is like a paradise for adults. There's literally so much variety to choose from and the greatest part is you can grab a little bit of everything. Now the pastries I had were amazing. There is a bunch of seating inside. The chairs are actually comfortable. The Korean coffee is also a 10/10!!! Def recommend and it's a decent price for a lot!!! Pastries IMO were ok price LA has similar style places and they are around the same price. I will say some of the workers were very friendly. However, the cashier we got was not so friendly and quite frankly lacked some customer service skills. But apart from that, I felt this was a cool spot to try and go to. I'll be back soon to try more!!!

Came during opening week and it was definitely crowded but not super crazy. There are only 2 cashiers and the line does get long enough that it cuts into the bakery side. So you have to find your way around the people to browse the bakery items in the glass containers by the back wall. I think one or two more cashiers might help but I'm not sure where they'd put them given the space. Lots of tables to enjoy your goods after. The space is bright and open. There are some tables outdoors too. The salt bread was not soft and buttery as others I've had and the crookie was too sweet for me. The curry croquette was good and the peppermint mochi donut wasn't too sweet which was nice. They have seasonal items for fall and winter and their cakes are so cute. There's a drink menu as well. Enjoy!!

OMG!!! So happy we finally have a Paris Baguette here! Yesterday (October 28) was their opening day, and of course, I had to check it out. I got my two go-to items which are the mocha cake and sweet potato bread and they did not disappoint! The mocha cake is so good not too sweet, with the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate flavor. The sweet potato bread is something I always share with my dog (he loves it too ). It might sound unusual to put sweet potato in bread, but it's delicious, soft, lightly sweet, and so comforting. I didn't get to interact much with the staff aside from paying at the register, but they seemed very kind and welcoming. The place itself is brand new, super clean, and beautifully designed, modern, bright, and spacious with lots of windows letting in natural light. They even have patio seating! So excited to have Paris Baguette in town and I'll definitely be back!

What a wonderful morning spent eating sweet and savory pastries! The self service we enjoyed, as you could take your time perusing the selections and not feel pressured to order quickly. We saw staff bring out fresh pastries, so it was safe to say they weren't sitting too long on a Saturday morning. We had a few of our items warmed up to enjoy in the outdoor seating area. The coffee was delicious and the pastries were flaky and not too sweet. Our favorites were the pastel de nata, curry croquette, and the garlic pastry frank.

I was super excited to hear that they opened a Paris Baguette here in Sonoma county! I love the variety of pastries they have. You walk in, grab a tray, and use tongs to get what pastries you want. They have a mix of savory and sweet pastries. My favorite is the crab croquette, fig and cheese pastry, and a coffee filled donut. And their biscoff cake is to die for! Note that you can have any items warmed up at the counter when you pay. I give it 4 stars because it is pretty pricey in my opinion, and their drinks are just average.

I knew nothing about Paris Baguette before yesterday. My daughter saw a Tik Tok posted by someone, mentioning it was open. I had driven by a couple weeks earlier and wasn't quite sure if it had opened yet. Went online, checked it out and I was impressed. So, made a plan to stop by today and check them out in person. I did download their App and set up an account beforehand. Upon doing so, I received a redemption for a free pastry. Score! I was a little overwhelmed at first looking around trying to figure out the layout. I just grabbed a tray, a set of tongs and walked around. It all looked delicious, but there was no way I could buy too many. I selected a few pastries, a couple pre-made breakfast sandwiches and a ham & cheese baguette. I also picked up a crepe cake slice at the counter with a coffee. So many options for drinks, I kept it simple this time around. My wife raved about her Chocolate Supreme Croissant. My chocolate croissant was very good. My daughter got the crepe cake...still to be determined. I was happy with the breakfast sandwich I bought (sourdough, bacon egg & cheese). My daughter loved her baguette sandwich. My only gripe and I know this will be resolved, is that you can't pre-order yet via the App or online. A minor inconvenience for today's rushed society. Staff was friendly. So many workers in the back preparing pastries and restocking the shelves on the store floor. I'll definitely be back.

So happy that we have another pastry shop closet to home! Great selection of pastries and yummy too! Service is fast and friendly! And the ambiance is great! Spacious, clean and great for families! Will definitely go back!

I've been waiting forever for this place to open!!! The interior is beautiful with ample seating and they have a ton of pastries!!! Please be patient as the workers are learning all the names of the foods. The pasteries and cakes are a mix bag. Some definitely taste too sweet while others are just right. Rainbow Cake Slice (3/5 stars) - beautiful to look at but tastes wild, I think each color is a different flavor so you got some conflicting things going on Chocolate Supreme Croissant (spiral croissant) (4/5) - the chocolate dip is not too sweet and the croissant is good but the chocolate filling is not in the middle so you have an uneven distribution Strawberry Mochi Donut (3/5) - the mochi donut itself is good though I could tell it's been sitting out for awhile, the strawberrying icing was too sweet and too tart Pastel de nata (2/5) - hated the filing and it was too gel like, the pastry outside was perfect and flaky Paris Baguette Crookie (1/5) - it's 3 mini croissants cut in half, stuffed with cookie, and then another cookie on top; the chocolate chips used were too big and hard in comparison to the entire thing; it was way too sweet; because there's so much cookie it's very thick in your mouth Biscoff Cookie Butter Layer Cake Slice (4/5) - the cake part is excellent, but the top layer almost ruins the entire thing, it's too sweet and too grainy, they should just remove it, if they fix it I'll give it 5 stars because the cake part is really really good Pain au Chocolat (4/5) - like any other one you can get Overall, some items are a hit, others are massive misses.

I noticed online that today was National Croissant Day, so I felt like I needed to go get one. I have been to pretty much all the best bakeries in Sonoma County, but today I thought I would try one of Santa Rosa's newest bakeries: Paris Baguette. They opened a few months ago, but I just hadn't had the chance to get in there. It is a big place with many options to choose from. Paris Baguette has many locations all over the Bay Area, but this is their first in the North Bay. It is a colorful place that invited you to just put what you want on a tray and bring it to the register. I grabbed about six pastries for my wife and I to share. 1. The crab croquette - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a delightful warm crab salad in the middle. Tastes like a crab cake but with a completely different texture. 2. Smoked sausage bun - basically a hot dog on a delicious pastry shaped like a hot dog bun. They also put ketchup on it. I enjoyed it. My wife not so much. 3. A plain croissant - it's fine. Texture is good but I feel like it's tricky to make a great croissant that might be sitting out for awhile or that they just make a lot of at a time. I also feel like the butter flavor could be stronger. 4. Dubai Chocolate mochi donut - I thought the mochi donut itself was just okay, but the chocolate and pistachio topping was really good and made for a fun donut. 5. Croissant donut - the star of the day. It had a delicious lemony custard that just was so light and fresh. It also had some lemon zest on top. The cronut itself had a great texture. Highly recommend! 6. Lemon cream pastry - I had to get one extra lemon custard treat and this was a mini, sugar crusted croissant with the casters. Also fantastic because of that custard. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their food.

I decided to treat myself to lunch. But where? As a woman in my mid-40s, I can't eat crazy heavy lunches anymore. A burger would put me to sleep. And it's 90 degrees outside and something like pho just sounds too hot. I saw Marla SR, a bakery with light breakfast and lunch I had been meaning to check out. It was decided, and off I went. When I walked in, I was still discombobulated by my day, and I looked at the menu confused. Luckily the woman behind the counter pointed out that they have a bigger menu on paper. There were many yummy things, but I went with the breakfast sandwich on an english muffin, and a Cafe au Lait. When the sandwich came, it was a thing of beauty. No literally, the plate looked amazing. (See pic) ...This so instantly put me in a good mood. It was served with charred shisito peppers with a yummy aioli with dill. A perfect freshing accompaniment to the peppers and the sandwich. The egg in the sandwich was more fritata like - very light and bouncy with cheese. As I said, amazing that all those ingredients and it felt light! (Which was perfect for me, as specified previously... my middle-aged woman sensibilities have made me... well, what some people would call, picky. But I prefer to say that I'm a grown-a$$ adult that knows herself. :)) And did I mention the cafe au lait was excellent? Great coffee, foamy milk. ...I was even naughty and put a spoon-full of sugar in it and it tasted amazing. As I sat at my table, with light streaming onto the table, and the beautiful plants artistically strewn around the cafe, I felt at home. A woman came around to ask how everything was. I could feel she genuinely wanted to know. Everyone was really nice. And punk was playing overhead, which just fit the day, as well as the core of me. It made me think of when I was a teenager, how much I would have thought it's cool that I'm sitting at a cafe with punk playing overhead. This is one of those places where you can tell that the owner had a vision, and this place is their dream created into reality. (And I just f'ing love that!) So I will say this was quite pricey for a light lunch. But honestly now adays everything is so expensive I'd rather spend on a nice meal like this every once in a while, than a crappy meal out all of the time. And now I know where I can go when I'm having "one of those days". ...I also got some rye bread to bring home (which you can't find easily anymore), and cookies for the hubs. (Or else he'd be jealous) ...I will be back. ----- Update: The rye bread was to die for!!!! This is the best rye bread I have ever had in my life. It was soft, and the rye is almost floral. It's so unique. Will be coming back for more.

The coup de cour with blueberries was the most interesting I'd say. I really liked the balance between the fruit and the chocolate in the center. It wasn't too sweet which was great. The one thing I haven't tried are the actual loaves of bread. I grab too many pastries when I've gone, but I'll make sure not to get distracted the next time.

If you value fancy things and mediocre food, this place is not your place. So this place is kind of close to downtown, near the hockey rink, in an old industrial building. It is the very definition of what I would call a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. When I walked in, I was incredibly impressed by the amount of beautiful and delicious-looking food in their case! I quickly studied the menu and decided on the bacon bowl. It had eggs, green chili salsa, home-fried potatoes, seasonal veggies, all served on a bed of lettuce. The flavors were outstanding. Not only was it a good-sized breakfast, but the flavors were just delicious. The veggies were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. The egg and potatoes were nice, and the overall flavor was just wonderful. I liked this place so much that I ended up coming back on day two of my trip just to eat here again with a friend! The people were absolutely incredible at this location! Each day I had a wonderful conversation and honestly just felt so included and acknowledged. If I lived closer, this would be a place that would be on my weekly routine.

I stop in for the savory pastries as snacks often, but most recently I dropped in for a couple of sweet treats to take to a friend's house for dinner. We had Strawberry and Rhubarb tart and a couple of mini-bundt chocolate cakes. Both were a hit! Great bakery! Give them a shot!

Aside from beautiful fresh artisan breads, they have a unique selection of baked goods such as pumpkin tea cakes, coffee filled morning buns, galettes, cranberry tarts, savory scones, vanilla crumb donuts, and vegan options. It is difficult to make a decision on what to get because everything looks delicious. It's a good thing the staff is patient with all their customers. I wanted to take a few home for the kids. I settled for a jam pocket, chocolate croissant, apple cinnamon scone, pistachio filled morning bun, and a sun-dried tomato, fennel, feta and spinach roll. The specialty coffee drinks also look amazing! I already had my coffee but I really wish I could've tried one of theirs. I think there was a marshmallow latte that looked intriguing! While I waited for my husband to pay, I tried one of the peanut butter cookie samples on top of the counter. Then we left. Guess what! After we had brunch with friends, we went back to Red Bird around 11:45 am because I really wanted a peanut butter cookie. Most things were sold out!!! Thank goodness they still had a couple of cookies left. Like I said, get there early or else they'll sell out!!

I usually buy the raspberry cake slice, the macarons, and Whoopie Cookies. I've purchased the cruffles and the macarons as gifts for my friends, and they're always adorned in a cute box with a ribbon bow. There are also gluten-free cupcakes available. They've never disappointed me and I often walk out of the store with a smile and my sweet tooth satisfied. Cons: Street parking can be tricky during busier times. However, it's about a 5 minute walk away from the Santa Rosa Plaza Mall. The cake slices and cupcakes lay on the buttercream pretty thick, which can get overly sweet. Overall: I had been going to Sift Dessert Bar since 2015, and when it closed in 2024, I was surprised to find that the location for the original Santa Rosa store is now owned by a former manager of Sift Dessert Bar! If you missed Sift Dessert Bar, you'll definitely love Blondie's Bakery Boutique. The colorful interior and sweet treats make this shop a must-visit. While I have ordered a cake from Sift Dessert Bar, I have not done so for Blondie's Bakery Boutique.

When I finally looked in the counters I saw how pretty all the homemade baked goods looked. It was hard to make a decision. I chose a few things. I was actually helped by Blondie herself. She was so patient and I definitely did not feel rushed. Read quite a few reinforce coming in and now see why she has such a high score of Yelp reviews. I would definitely recommend that we all support this small lovely bakery on Mendocino Avenue. It's so hard for these small businesses to be successful with the cost to rent and finding employees. Not only will you help support but you will be amazed at all the delicious baked goods. I haven't tried yet, but I have no doubt that they will be delicious!
