Our wall was damaged via a car accident driven by our neighbor (please see before and after pictures attached). Early in the process, Renee was quick to provide a high level quote via a zoom call. Then Edgar came to my house to observe the damage and provided a detailed quote. There was a cap on how much the insurance company was paying so Edgar worked with his team to give us additional discounts in order to reduce the amount of money our neighbor would have to pay out of pockets. Their prices were lower than two other companies so the $97 inspection fee was credited. The construction team included Chayan, Francisco, Leo, Gabrino, Joe , Fernando and Juan, and they all were professional, meticulous, courteous and operated safety. Francisco, Edgar and Chayan accommodated the higher quality bricks that we chose without nickel and dime us and our neighbor. The team communicated progress well and cleaned up the area at the end of each day. I feel this company is ethical, provides superior work and services to its customers at lower prices. I definitely will use DiBara again and will be referring this company to others. Thank you DiBara team!!

Every store we visited wanted to sell us a whole slab, costing way to much money. By luck, we found South Bay Stone. Upon meeting Diana, she led us to their yard and told us to look through their extensive selection of remnants. To our surprise, we found a partial slab of the similar black quartz that we liked at a different store. Diana and her team of installers did a perfect job installing our new quartz countertop at a fraction of the price as other stores quoted. We usually do most of our own home repairs, gardening, and DIY projects. One thing we could not do…read moreourselves was replace our circa 1917 old cracked 82 feet long driveway and widen our 7' driveway approach (with a steep angle of approach designed for a model-T) to a new 12' wide City standard driveway approach with less than 8 degrees angle of approach. We would need a licensed contractor who could work within the City of Alhambra's public-right-of-way. We started calling for quotes in early April of 2014 and A.F.R. Masonry, Alex Diaz, gave us our second lowest bid out of 6 bids. Alex was the only contractor who said he would honor his bid longer than 60 days. The City of Alhambra would definitely need more than 60 days to complete the relocation of a water meter that was in the way of a new driveway approach. I liked the fact that Alex said he had his own digger (to break and haul concrete) and he was based locally in El Monte. His bid price was a definite draw (one of our highest bids from another general contractor was more than triple the amount of Alex's). So after the water meter was relocated we called Alex and he said he was available to do our job within two weeks and could complete the job in approximately 6 working days. The job is just finishing up today and I just had to write up this review. I have been waiting a long time to be able to drive into my driveway without hitting my tires on the curb face. The new no frills driveway is so much more pleasant to look at then our old cracked and patched driveway. The only thing that other homeowners might have an issue with would be that during the construction, the job-site (my yard) was left with construction materials overnight. But I am definitely fine with dealing with unsightly construction materials overnight during construction for Alex's bid price. It all gets cleaned-up in the end. The work was done on time and on budget! Alex did not complain about having to deal with the large magnolia tree roots adjacent to the driveway approach. He listened to our concerns and made sure they were addressed. The craftsmanship of the concrete work with proper forms, slopes, and finish was definitely on point. I am very happy with the job well done.
