It's beyond comprehension to find the love that was exhibited to Linda and I from the Elkhart General Hospital ICU staff, the Indiana University Medical center ICU staff and all their wonderful people from the valet parking to the 6th floor. When I came to Biomat I was greeted by friendly faces, a clean building and professional environment. The nurse Kris who I talked to was so friendly and nice to everyone she dealt with. Linda was also really nice. Glad I didn't give up after the first center, Whole different vibe. Plan on going regularly.

I come in the next day, get processed, then sit and wait for an hour and a half to wait and be seen by a nurse. So I leave after I'm PROMISED compensation(cash) for my troubles by a manager, not Taylor. Because of that promise, I come in for an appointment two days later at 4:20 pm. I get processed and am about to donate when Taylor tells me they won't be keeping their promise. She then hands me a card I can budge everyone with. Whoopty Doo. THEN they charge me $10 for 2 of their debit/cash cards that I never received. Oh, and I was there for over 3 HOURS!

To move along in the line. I was told I can't sit on my stool. If I didn't get up I would be denied. I explained I was disabled and couldn't stand for hours. That being said, I encourage people to donate plasma. As someone who has Rh Negative blood, I am one who has benefited from donated plasma. They also stuck a needle in without giving me warning and proceeded to fish around for my vein while the needle was in my skin. They then took the needle out and my arm started to bleed severely. They tried again on my other arm and did the EXACT SAME THING. They then proceeded to accuse me of having a blood clot when I had recently been checked out by my doctor and was absolutely fine! No, maybe it wouldn't work because you're unprofessional and untrained! When I wanted to stop they tried to convince me to try again after telling them to take it out because it HURT and the lady walked away to do paperwork. I said get it out of my arm. Their policy states very clearly that you can stop at any time. Clearly that is not the case! I will never be back and unless you want a bruised arm, I wouldn't suggest trusting this establishment.
