I have donated to this place in Mustang CSL over 140 times. Not because I'm so thrilled with them because they do not pay you enough they pay you an extra five dollars on your second donation, which is nothing compared to other prices but today they. Pushed me to my limit. They are so unpredictable about whether or not they will accept the blood donation or the plasma donation because I have a little scratches on my which I've had on there every time not once but every time I've donated, and today, the new girl decided that it wasn't acceptable that it was stride blood that I just left sitting on my arm for three days because to take a bath. It was obviously a scab and it was scabbed over but one other time they had never told me that if there was any part of it that wasn't scabbed I couldn't donate and one time there was literally the size of the tip of a PM and they would not let me donate. Of course I had already donated once and that would've been my second time I've got that extra. 5 dollars. seriously the new girls on a power trip the people that triage and nice. But they are all very slow and I didn't mention that along with a scratch that the two times that they didn't let me donate were two times that they had bruised my arm and I have huge veins. No one ever bruises me, but they were teaching a new girl how to be a phlebotomist they learned from CSL they don't go to school. I asked them directly because she hurt me so bad. I've got veins darts at. I never tell just so happens. She my arm and I got kicked out today. I won't be going back and I don't suggest either. They don't have to have any training before they get on the floor and start sticking people with needles today that power kiss my... You're a horrible person and I'm held every woman who drove there in the pouring down. Rain got up early and came in there to do my civil didn't listen to me my arm no different than it has ever looked but it wasn't my day huh? The manager threatens to defer you for having freedom of speech , they waste all your time and treat you like your time isn't important. I told him straight up to defer me cause I didn't do anything wrong . Im not sick nor ill nor have any problems but they still defer you for no reason and then get mad when you speak up. The guy is retarded and afraid of having conversation like a real man without getting offended like a beta male . Giving threats about defering me simply for speaking out about me being defered for nothing. I stopped in as a new donor. My kid has an auto immune disease that IVIG and plasmapharisis is used to treat so I understand the importance of having plasma. So while I wait for her to do an activity I thought I would donate as I wait instead of just scrolling facebook. I registered in the app and scheduled an appointment. No one in the front when I arrived. So I waited in line told them I was new and Likely needed to finish getting registered. They took me back up front and proceeded to be concerned about when I ate. It had been about it 2.5 hours before. Staff then began lecturing me on eating within an hour - ok noted for next time. I asked what I needed to do to be ready next time I can by. But turns out I needed a social security card to finish registering so it didn't matter when I ate last. But instead of answering questions the response was to lecture more on eating. Again I asked what all I needed next time I could make it by. Staff (lead by her title) continued to be very conceding using a high child like voice that was different than her normal voice focusing in well yo have to eat and not answering the question on how I could be prepared to come back. Let me tell you I won't be back. Good job running off new donors. I don't need the money. I was going to do it because it was right near where I was waiting and because I know how important the supply of products made from plasma is. I don't recommend going here. And I will keep donating whole blood that they can pull plasma from if needed rather than step food back into this place. read more

I've been going to CSL for awhile now, and their staff is normally well worth the frequently high wait time, but over the past few months something must have changed with management or new hires or something because it has become pointless to visit. A month ago I recieved a hematoma while donating (It was a fluke and they handled it well at the time and afterwards the individual who stuck me stepped down to another position where they don't handle needles anymore. It was fine.) HOWEVER, the aftercare where I was told repeatedly I would be called once the doctor reviewed my case (though they could never tell me when the doctor would actually be in and only that they come in one day a week.) and after 1 month of calling for a status update I got a woman named Destiny on the phone who proceeded to tell me no one could help me, I'd have to drive up there, and then treated me to a horribly condescending "customer service voice" where she spoke over me and then hung up. (They gave me the hematoma and then didn't follow up with aftercare at all and I was punished and not allowed to donate as a result.) I put in a survey about this and received a call from Jeff who stated he was one of the managers and he was very kind and I felt he really listened to me, but when I returned later Destiny came out and immediately raised her voiced and began ordering people to move so they were 6ft apart (which is fine, but the tone was just ridiculous. We are all adults, not rowdy toddlers. You don't need to yell at us.) At that point we left because we had started with 3 people ahead of us in line and after over an hour and a half there was still 1 donor ahead of us in line because they moved FOUR new donors ahead of us in line. The donation aspect at CSL is fine and most of the staff are amazing, but the intake process and complaint process is a complete mess. read more

I haven't had any problems with this site. Staff has always been friendly. They've hit the vein the first try each time which is nice since I'm a fat body and so a harder stick. The hardest thing for me is staying awake since the atmosphere is very calm amd quiet. The only thing I disliked is the pay, which is more of a policy issue rather than a location issue. First, the card issued for payment, when used to pay for anything you are charged a small fee. Second, after first four visits pay drops dramatically. $65 for first four, now its between $30-$35. I usually spend 1.5-2 hours here so hourly rate ain't great. However if you need quick cash and want to support those in need of life saving plasma, this is the place to be. read more

I do not suggest the location in Mustang, OK. Their phlebotomist are under trained to the point it's almost a 75 percent chance of being stuck twice even if you have good veins, and they go behind one another and mess with the machines to where they don't work and then defer you. I've been going to CSL for about 2 years, I've enjoyed nearly all the workers there. I only have a problem with Andrew and while in today I asked that he not stick me I'd rather someone else with a little "personality" stick me. He didn't take care of my bonus for referring people. I've referred at least 4 times, never collected on any of them. 1st time I've ever asked not to be stuck by someone there. You'll have to decide for yourself... I may wind up back at CSL but that's only if there is nowhere else to go. I've been researching quite a bit and today I took the wife out to Western and 72nd to Talecris... oh my gosh, busy place but well organized and I'm telling you absolutely the nicest bunch of folk you'll ever meet. Oh, 1st the reason we went to Talecris is because CSL won't take you If your over 65. It was an eye opening experience. Well organized, busy, friendly. Wow what a difference. What I learned was eye opening, Talecris pays nice bonuses when you refer people... $100.00 I think... also they pay better than CSL, if your in the two lower weight classes probably a lot better. If driving distance isn't a problem and you'd like more money go to Talecris you won't be disappointed. read more
