They were pumping my red blood cells to quick and bruised my arm been going here 4 times already and its the only accident I've gotten here.

Ask them the put it to the lowest when donating plasma, or you'll get swollen in you arm

That is appreciated. Not all asthmatics will wheeze, and it can present differently so medical professionals just need to be aware of that. There was one PA who kicked me out of the ER in 2014 and nearly killed me and he doesn't believe other people's asthma attacks either. I'm talking about Kurt Harris. All the people he's ever failed are all over google reviews. The doctor at Cal State gave me an asthma treatment two days later and said she was incredibly close to sending me to the ER. I don't care that it was 12 years ago. I'll never forget that I came very close to not being here because he rendered zero treatment. I am very thankful a doctor realized I actually couldn't breathe right and helped me. I was in the ER last month and had a really great PA. She listened, asked questions and figured out that it was viral gastroenteritis after ruling out flu and covid. She made sure I wasn't dehydrated. Gastroenteritis isn't necessarily an emergency, but I never had a case that bad before and didn't know what was happening. she gave me some Zofran and a medication for stomach cramping. The gastroenteritis lasted a long time for me, so I followed up with primary and they did a lot of tests to rule out other stuff. The bathrooms need to be cleaner, especially the ones in the lobby. Also, there is a wide gap in the doors and that is not okay.

Hi everyone, So I…read moretried to make an appointment here and one particular person Named Norma, works at the front desk suggested me to go the hospital instead of seeing the doctor. Considering I don't have a life threatening emergency, I didn't understand how she could not facilitate the process to make an appointment. Very unprofessional, very rude, and redundant. She thought she was the doctor making suggestions as to my preferred method of care. I don't think front desk assistants should treat people disrespectfully. It's a given that if I am calling is because I don't want to go to the hospital and I am completely capable of waiting to see a provider.

You see different Obgyn's instead of one and the front nurse I love her but the second one i don't know if it's just me but she's rude as hell like she don't care your a person she's just rushing you to do this and that and any questions she brushes you off and just has stanky attitude trying to get through the day. The first nurse makes you feel comfortable and helps you understand how each appointment is going to go I have made love for her. The pictures are after I asked the second nurse about blood work and she brushed me off so I asked the obgyn and she ended up still having the second nurse give me the blood work she didn't want to do and was rough the entire time slamming the stuff down and yanking on my arm.

When we came last January for a trial day I knew that we would have substantial challenges moving into a classroom setting. Our son was diagnosed at an early age and does have severe symptoms, as well as being non verbal. But after spending the last four years with various agencies in the DTT model at home, we were ready for a change. After our intake assessment, it was clear that our son wasn't ready for a classroom setting. So instead they made the offer for us to access the clinic for ABA and push into the Academy over time. He's really blossomed in this model. He's totally acclimated to the classroom now, and will be moving into the classroom full time soon. Any complaints I've had have been met with solutions and if there was a problem they could not solve they referred me to someone who could. Mr. Sam and Karlie are great teachers, and the classroom is amazing. Music therapy is twice a week and they have clinics for OT and speech. Once a month there are Saturday camps, and Friday evening camps as well. These don't have an additional cost except for siblings and as long as you have therapy hours available. Holiday events have been so much fun! The school doesn't require verbal only like every other competitor in the area that refuses to serve any other population other than tier 1 verbal kids. So that was a huge plus for us. The program is year round. Overall we are really satisfied, and look forward to the 2019-2020 school year.

The driving and the distances to family homes often precludes a substitute if a session is cancelled last minute. (Especially in a county as huge as LA) Parents also commonly have to cancel at the last minute . What company has someone on standby to drive an hour to do a session that may not even work on the child's needs because they are not part of that case? Most parents would prefer someone they know to do these sessions , not some random other employee. What parent wants a sick therapist bringing germs into their home? I know from personal experience that Yvonne Bruinsma and her staff genuinely care about these kids. She isn't doing this to make money. She's doing it to change lives and finds her purpose in serving ,as do most of her staff.
