The Monday before the storm going up Avon Mountain, I felt the car struggling going up and then it started to shake. I reached the office where I work at and my husband suggested to take it somewhere near the office. I started looking and saw that Village was a few minutes away. I called and was told to bring the car over. After explaining the situation he indicated he might know the issue. I left the car there and went to work. A few hours later he indicated that I needed to replace the spark plugs and ignition cord. My car was ready before my day ended at work, when I drove up Avon Mountain, what a smooth ride going up. I've had no issues ever since, I would definitely recommend Village.

I am extremely displeased with their emissions service. They allow oil changes to be done in the…read moreemissions bay so that the wait for emissions is quite long. This is the 4th attempt to get emissions taken care of due to excessively long waits as well as the internet being down another day. I just now waited for an hour for them to tell me they aren't certified to provide emissions certificates. This is after knowing I was there for emissions and taking my car into the bay. This is unacceptable. They did not offer anything in exchange for my time while knowing full well that they were not certified.

I met at Zach who had a bit of attitude, said I didn't have an appointment. I told him I was told just to come on down and it would be handled. I told him what I wanted done he told me we first you need a diagnosis. Called me back the next day told me that this is a part has a bulletin on the vehicle and if I bring it to the dealership, it will be replaced for free. I mentioned it is not a recall just an announcement bulletin, he assured me the dealership would take care of the item for free l paid for the diagnosis and left. After paying a $400 diagnosis at the dealership, I was told that it is not a covered component just a bulletin and I would have to pay to have the part replaced that I originally requested from Firestone. They are misinformed on recalls and bulletins.

My auto was in their garage…read more overnight and after getting my brakes serviced a few weeks later I realized that a radar detector and camera went missing from the storage compartment of my car. I suspected it was stolen from my car from one of their employees while in their garage and custody. I. Spoke with manager and he indicted that they do not have video cameras in their garage bays. However, he promised to look into it and call me back, guess what, he never got back to me. At a minimum please put up a sign instructing customers to not leave valuables when they service your Auto.

Got a voicemail an hour later from Ian......the message said the tire would need to be replaced and a new one was $366 but there was a rebate for $80. I told him to replace the tire and once again asked for the total cost. Once again he ran down the charges and mentioned the $80 rebate. I told him to go ahead and replace it. Went in to pick it up today and was told the total charge for one tire installed was $399.80. When I questioned the cost he told me that the $80 rebate was for four tires not one. He said the gentlemen who I spoke to was gone for the day and I was WRONG about the $80. I paid and took my receipt and walked out. On the way out the gentlemen loudly said "YOUR WELCOME" . My words of advice......get everything in writing with these guys. No need for me......I won't be back.

Was going great and very quick, but they tried selling me on a "AC tube up" which I turned down several times. Lo and behold 2 days later my AC goes out. Never had issues with it before. Brought my car to my regular mechanic and was told that the value was loosened, allowing the Freon to slowly leak out, hence why it didn't immediately stop working after being serviced at valvoline. I will not be returning and should've gone with my gut and stuck with my regular mechanic despite the convenience of a "drive-up" service.

Some have had vending machines. Nope Some have had TV sets to entertain you. Nope Some places can schedule your oil change with an appointment (not here). Now maybe you perceive all of those facts as a negative, and if you do you will probably be surprised by exactly how much I loved my experience here today. Where do I start? How about with John - the ultra-friendly and polite owner who will treat you respectfully and must have a PhD in Customer Service. This guy was amazing. How about the music system -I heard one great Beatle song after another while I waited for my oil change. But best of all, how about Olive, the House Labradoodle who will hang out with you in the waiting area and will melt your heart away. She would make one helluva stupendous therapy dog, For all of these reasons (and the very fair price) I will look you straight in the eye and tell you this was one of the best and most enjoyable oil changes I have ever experienced.
