My SUV needed new brake pads and rotors. Got it changed here back in Nov 2020. By Jun 2021, the front rotors had warped with the car shuddering everytime you braked and needed to be replaced. Replaced it under warranty. So far so good. But the front rotors warped AGAIN by Aug/Sep. Now I was being told that the brake calipers had to be changed for an additional $1,000. Why didn't they find this as an issue before? Why was my SUV working fine for the first 6 years/50,000+ miles, now having brake/rotor issues every 3-6 months? I didn't get the impression they knew what they were doing. I went back to the dealership and got it fixed right. I tried to save some $$$ but it ended up costing me a whole lot more (and the dealer found no issues with the calipers, just the brake pads). read more

LEACH, SCAB, POS, Came out for a $140. Just had a van 20ft off a parking lot stuck in the grass . Turned into $1400 the owner cussed out my wife and secretary when they asked why the bill was high. We had to pay the tow then dispute that charge with Capitol One. Thank god we used a credit card. He was going to take our work van hostage. Made several threats to come to my home address because he has a copy of my ID and Credit card. read more

They don't honor their appointments. Showed up early for an appointment and was told they wouldn't be able to get to it that day. Didn't even bother to say sorry and took phone call before I could ask for a follow up appointment. Rude. Left and found a local service that takes walk-ins and were happy to help. I had an issue with my car on Saturday 4/27/24. In a panic I called Meineke in Avon and spoke with John. He told me if I could have my car towed to him that day, or Sunday, he would get my car in first thing Monday morning. My car was towed Saturday, and he called to let me kno he got the key. Monday morning he called first thing to let me know what the issue was. Helped me get approved for the financing (it was an expensive repair) and had my car ready for me Tuesday afternoon. I called him at 2pm Tuesday afternoon and he was still waiting for the part. I work in Canton and they're less than 10 minutes from my job. He told me give him a call back at 4 and he will let me know if my car is ready by then (they were still waiting for the part to be delivered for Meineke to be able to get my car repaired and back to me. I picked up my car and I was so happy to have it back! John kept me updated with how things were going and I couldn't be more happy with their service! I will go back to them if I ever need anything for my car! A+ !!! read more

Incredibly great customer service today! I called this morning and they said they would fit me in today even though it was a busy Saturday. I left my car asking them for an oil change which I thought I needed. They called me later to advise I still had 5000 miles until my next oil change, and all I needed was some oil. I so appreciate an honest businessperson! And they didn't even charge me for the oil because they said I didn't even need a full bottle to top it off. I used this location about 4 times now, and I can only say nice things. Twice I had and appointment, and couple times I didn't but I was still accommodated. This location has a comfortable waiting room, a coffee maker and a bathroom. The gentleman at the front counter informed me of the website and get a coupon, for additional discount. Do NOT get gas here! On their tanks, they list both cash and credit prices with the credit price being at least 6 cents more than cash. They have a sign on their door which indicates they do NOT accept cash.. Rip Off! read more

almost $2k for a "routine maintenance", load of crap is what that is. do not use this place. they will up charge you on everything, do the work without asking for consent so you have no choice but to pay for it if you want your car back. OH and it's been a week.. literally 6 days and the car is already making noises and back to same issues as before. Yesterday I got my oil/filters changed for my truck at the Meineke in Avon. The experience was terrific. It was so good I decided to write a review (not something I would normally do for an oil change). Apparently the business changed management recently and there have been a lot of improvements. Carlos (the office/inside guy) was fantastic: friendly, professional and accommodating. Steve was the technician/mechanic. He too was great: very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Worst experience. A calamity of errors. They didn't have a record of my appt. They installed the wrong oil filter, I know this because all of the dashboard lights lit up as I drove away. They didn't have the correct filter, so I had to wait while it was being delivered by an auto parts store. They forgot to reset my warning lights. They didn't complete the safety inspection, nor topped my fluids, nor rotated my tires. The customer service dept was robotic and insincere. There are too many other options out there for oil changes....They should have paid me. I suggest you keep driving. read more

After one month of contacting Mieneke customer service, the results are poor. Customer service at Meineke is not helpful, passing on the issue to others in the company who provide nothing. After $200 spent, nothing was repaired in the car. Advanced Auto Parts actually resolved the electrical issue FREE. This company has no service guarantee and takes advantage of consumers by delaying, and deferring the issue. read more

I used them for tires change The staff was friendly. However, when I changed tires for winter, I noticed that they didn't give me back correct amount of tire lugs. Without lugs, tires don't fit to the cat correctly.... I can't believe that they did forget 2 lugs back to me. read more

Went to Meineke for the first time for an oil change. I had a coupon for 19.95, for an oil change. Half an hour into the appointment I was told 3 out 4 of my tires are bald and I needed rear brakes. My tires are not bald. I have yet to check my brakes somewhere else. After giving me an expensive quote for the brakes plus rotors, I declined on getting the service done. Then I was told the price could be reduced. Well, why wasnt I giving a decent quote from the get go. That just gives me a bad vibe. I declined on the brakes and told the man behind the counter that I just wanted to pay for my oil change. He then proceeded to tell me that it would be a little bit they had to put my wheels back on. I asked why were my wheels off? I made an appointment just for an oil change. He said that they did a tire rotation. I didn't ask for a tire rotation. And there was nowhere on the coupon that there was a tire rotation included. Gave me the feeling that they were looking for work to do. After that was done I was charged $31.96. Quite the extension from $19.95 coupon. Again no where on the coupons did it specify extra charges beside the oil change for $19.95. Was a sloppy job, there was grease on my steering wheel, door handle and my armrest . Do not recommend this place and I will not be returning there. read more

Very upset. Went here several times and didn't have a problem. Very convenient and reasonably priced UNTIL....they put the wrong oil filter on my car. A bulletin went out to all Meineke that said Hyundai the same year as mine HAD to have a Hyundai ( or otherwise approved) oil filter- this bulletin went out a year ago. Well they either didn't read it or didn't care because they didn't put an approved filter on. My car started making horrid noises. Brought it to a Meineke in the NW corner... there was oil leaking and oil sprayed all over the undercarriage of my car and 2 qts low on oil ( only a few weeks after the oil change). The New place cleaned it up, replaced the filter with a Hyundai one and added oil. Car all set. Glad I didn't go to long and damage my engine. Will not be back to the Avon Meineke. read more
