What a great experience I had buying my new bike at Powerhouse Motorsports. The moment I walked in I was greeted by sales rep Jordan. He has a very pleasant attitude that put me at ease. Did I mention that I'm a new rider with lots of questions? He showed me huge selection of bikes, mostly preowned. I described the type of bike I was looking for and he brought to the section that he thought I would like. Needless to say, I did have my sights on the 2017 Suzuki Boulevard M50. Beautiful bike. He let me leave with absolutely no pressure to buy or any commitment at all. After thinking all weekend about this bike , I reached back out to Jordan and he helped with financing, insurance, registration everything. The whole transaction was smooth and pleasurable. I've been going to Parsons for years now, and I only have good things to say. They always treat me like family. I've purchased three used cars thru them, and am now on my second lease. Not only am I happy with my cars and signing away with Karen, but it's always nice to go into a place where everyone says hi and asks if you need anything. Whenever I go in for service, John and his team always take the time to listen and figure out any issues I might have. They always check to make sure I have accommodations, whether it be a ride, a loaner, or just a cup of coffee while I wait. And when I come back and it costs less than expected. I've recommended friends to go there too, and they are pleasantly surprised that going to a dealership won't break the bank and they get such great service. Hope you're trading in a Buick because these guys are clueless about anything else. Offered me 4k less than the KBB and Nada value was on my car, screen open (on their computer and my phone) showing what my car was worth they said "sorry we can't do that". Wouldn't negotiate on the price of the car more than $300 off sticker to accommodate their insulting trade in offer. Wouldn't revisit. read more

I have owned every brand of US car, plus some imports. I had lost confidence in dealerships and their service departments. In fact I started taking my vehicles to the local gas / service station for service, not happy with that service either. I am now confidently able to say that I have found a great dealership with a great service department Parson Buick of Plainville, CT. I purchased two vehicles from them, a new Verano in 2012 and a used GMC Canyon in 2013. My entire family brings their vehicles there for service and I must note that not all are GM products, in fact there are imports in the mix. All recommending Parsons as the place to go for confident, done right the first time and at a great price. Parson is 'The Best of the Best'!!! I had a great experience with my auto repair. I dropped my car off in the morning, John was really nice and helpful. He called me to check if I wanted my tire rotated and air filter changed which was nice because I didn't even know I needed it. I also got my oil changed while I was there. My car was ready by the time I got out of work, so it was painless for me. Everyone was nice and my car got fixed with minimal effort on my part. I'm happy! read more

ENVISION THIS...... My brother Steve Parsons let me use a new Envision last week on my visit back to my homeland. I've lived in Montana for 40 years now. My wife's current car is a Subaru Outback that loaded up cost around 33K. Nice car, well built, lots of features, but in comparison is definitely underpowered compared to the Envision. The Envision blows the Subaru away in features and in the simplicity on learning and using them. Quiet? Unreal. We owned a Lexus RH400 (my wife won it) before the Outback and it was noisier than both in road and windnoise. The Envision is silent. You have to listen really hard under acceleration to hear it. No shimmy shudder or shake either. Sure this review is for a brother and is a thank you but it is also to share that me, an expert fault finder, really found no shortcomings in the new Buick. This sadly is not my first experience with Parsons. I should have learned my lesson years ago when I purchased my tires from your dealership. I spent the following three years continuously returning my car to your service department for leaking tires only to have them rotate the tires and subsequently rotate which tire I was filling up on a weekly basis. Thankfully I found a great tire place that fixed the problem on the spot for under $20 and was a pleasure to work with. Several weeks ago while driving with my children on the highway, I lost power in my vehicle and all of my gauges proceeded to behave erratically. I could not go above 40 miles an hour. I immediately brought it to Parsons, against my better judgement. It was "fixed" the first time within a couple of days. I was charged $127 to tighten a nut. I took it home and while on a family road trip two days later, the same thing occurred. We again dropped off the car over the weekend and were informed by Phil, a couple of days later that a water leak had occurred and corroded the fuse box. The box would need to be replaced as well as the leak fixed. I was quoted $650 on top of the $127 I had already paid. I told Phil that there was a recall years ago on the vehicles sunroof, but it was fixed at that time. They suspected this is how the leak occurred as GM had a bulletin in the system that the leaking sunroof could cause this problem. I explained that I was not paying for something that the manufacturer knew about and was supposed to be fixed regardless of the no. of miles on the car. The service manager John told me Parsons would "cut me a break" and that I would still owe $450 on top of the $127 I already paid. I hung up and called GM directly. They were very apologetic and contacted the local rep. for me. The local rep. was to discuss the issue with John. Again after waiting several days for information, I was finally contacted and told that GM knew about the problem with other vehicles and would split the cost 70/30 with me. My new total was $150. The car was "fixed" again. I picked it up and again was on a family road trip when low and behold the car started to do the exact same thing for the 3rd time. We dropped the car off again on a Sunday night. All day Monday I heard NOTHING from the service department. My husband called at the end of the day and they said they didn't know what was wrong with it. All day Tuesday we heard NOTHING from the service department. Wednesday morning, I called and asked the status of my vehicle. I was quickly shooed off the phone by the same incredibly rude man I had been dealing with for three weeks now, Phil. I was told the manager was going to call me. I waited six hours and still no phone call. I finally called John who said he still didn't know what was wrong with it and hadn't wanted to call because he didn't have an answer. As if an answer was going to materialize while my car sat in your parking lot. I said then I want my car back. He said, that is why I am calling you. Actually, that is why I called YOU! You were ignoring me and hoping I would never come looking for my car. I informed him that everyday I don't have my car I am in a rental. He was shocked, and said well we can give you a loaner. This was the first time in the total of two weeks my car sat on your lot that anyone offered me a loaner. I realize that sometimes things go wrong with a car that are difficult to diagnose. I appreciate my vehicle has 130k miles on it (Plus the 60 miles John put on it while trying to figure out what is wrong with it!), however, I do not appreciate being talked to like an idiot, being ignored for days on end with no communication and being made to feel like you are somehow doing me a favor. You may want to go back and review your policies on customer service. I am the one out $300. I am the one who had to change vehicles and car seats three times in three weeks. I am the one who would have potentially discussed a trade in and purchased a new or used vehicle from you. Instead, I am the one who had to call GM and stand up for myself. I am the one who had to do all the research. I am the one who was without a car. I am the one who is put out in this situation. You had the opportunity over and over again to gain a life long customer and earn more money over the years, but instead you got a frustrated customer who has told everyone we run into not to use your dealership. read more

MEH- For a place that prides itself when you walk in about having a YELP account, you would think they would extend something a little more than their typical car buying garbage. Went to try and buy a car w/ hubs- turns out we owe too much on a current loan so either way it wouldn't be realistic. We could have afforded it, however only if they dropped the price a little on the vehicle - however I really didn't like how after speaking to the salesman (very nice btw) he invited over the "finance guy"...who ended up being just a total dud. I do not actually believe he went to "speak to his supervisor" About what we could negotiate price wise, and about the loan. It was funny to me that he walked away and then came back , acting like he actually spoke to someone. This guy then called after running our credit, and I will admit it wasn't going to happen for us. However, he left a message, then enever even called back. I wouldn't go back after this experience. Went to another dealer, and had a great experience with an honest and up front staff. read more

we were treated cordially as we arrived for service, my only complaint was that after waiting more than an hour for an oil change, I deccided to check on why it was taking so long even though we had an appt. Apparently no one thought to tell us the car was ready and fortunately another customer advised us to check on the matter. No real problem, it seems they apparently forget to tell us, and since it was then well after lunch break we were left waiting for no reason. read more
