I do make a mean salad if I must admit. Although I did not find herring in the can, nor did I find mackerel, I did find trout in the can. something new to add to my palate. I was able to run in and out and get what I needed in a smooth and timely matter. It made me think why are all Wegmans not laid out in the same way, space allowing of course. I also love that the parking lot was dedicated specifically to Wegmans so there was no additional stores making it a complicated situation. Easy to get to right after the highway if you are in route somewhere and not local.

I can't go into all the details but it's an overall impression based on a few interactions with employees, the way food products are displayed, the breakfast area looking very sloppy with equipment and supplies left around as well as other impressions. I wonder if management has either recently changed or has it just been a slow slippage. Either way, it's a bit disappointing but I will continue to go there out of necessity.

I've had to throw away certain produce because they weren't in good shape. The apples seem to look okay...but when ya get home and you bite into them, they're brown and mushy. Just a waste of money. I/We have purchased dairy products in the past such as eggs, milk and yogurt and have had to return the items because they were either old and/or spoiled. Perhaps they have a refrigeration problem or the thermostat is kept way too low?? Just no good. We've noticed that many items on the shelves are on the older side and are outdated. Ketchup, mustard, honey and cookies to name a few. The store did not seem to be very clean the last time I stopped in. The floors were sticky and the merchandise on the shelves were very dusty. I came in to return a gallon of milk which was spoiled and the cashier was very nasty and rude to me because I did not have a receipt...meanwhile she was the one who rang me up the day before. She gave me my money back...but gave me a very hard time for no reason. This is no way to treat customers and to run a business. No way!! Normally a person could just let this go...but this is not the first time. It's happened several times. The little one (cashier) in particular has a rotten attitude.
