Great vegetables collection anything you need for Hot pot ingredients. I adore the different cuts of meat such great matching selections. Fish department is so fresh I had ordered salmon, king crab legs and even raw tuna for sashimi. Quality of merchandise top notch. If you get hungry while shopping they have a nice food court. Love some H-mart!! What is great is that you can shop for hard-to-find Asian groceries AND pick up a yummy meal from their food court... all in the same visit. What we do sometimes is grab lunch and then shop afterward! How cool!! H-mart has about every shelf stable Asian food item you could ask for. Looking for Japanese mayo, they got it! Looking for a specific variety of dry noodle, they got it! Also, what a joy to find so many selections when you are cooking an Asian dish and are seeking a very specific and hard to find condiment or sauce. You can bet they have it at H-Mart. Oh, and if you are looking for fresh seafood, they have tons!! And they even have whole fish you can take home and prepare yourself, or they will skin and/or filet it for you!! I wish someone would accidentally lock me in here for 48 hours. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be mad if it happened. There is so much to explore in here. You could definitely get lost in a NY minute. They have everything you could possibly think of in a Asian Mart. They sell all the hot pot cut meats. Marinated and regular as well. Noodles of every type and flavor. Different types of snack and things that go tiktok viral. I finally found that cream donut that everyone hyped up after an entire year searching for it. Y'all, it was literally a sweet brioche bread with whipped cream. Good but eh not worth the hype. I also tried the viral honey butter chips which also did not live up to the hype. But I don't fault Hmart for all the hype and let downs. I actually love to walk in and see new types of produce they put out. All the Asian foods fresh and frozen as well are so nearly kept and beautifully displayed. They have a small food court as well for ramen, chicken and sandwiches. It's a very well put together store and always remarkably clean. I could walk through every aisle and spend at least an hour. I love Asian culture and food. They have an extensive tea aisle that I'm always tempted to go overboard in. The customer service is very fast but pleasant so you don't feel rushed. They also have a great fish and meat variety too. My go to for a great selection of vegetables and seafood. Haven't tried their Korean pre-seasoned selection of meats yet. Will do more research before I do. This H Mart used to have THE best Korean Fried Chicken imo made by Wacker. Covid killed that option and now we're left with an incomparable, higher priced version. Some workers are extremely helpful, and others will try to help, though may steer you to an incorrect aisle with items where ESL (English is the Second Language) or not even present. No matter, I'm resourceful and will and have figured things out for myself. H Mart is a decent experience shopping for groceries, while also having the option to sit in the small Food Court for a nice lunch. read more

There is no other Asian market like it on earth! You have to experience it to believe it. Imagine a theme park for gourmands, foodies, or looking for something different or refill your Asian pantry. It's in strip mall on the south bound side of Central Ave north of Tuckahoe Road. If you've been to Uncle Giuseppe's in Ramsey, a Wegman's in Pennsylvania or Stew Leonards in Yonkers they pale in comparison to H-Mart in Yonkers. Don't get me wrong, I love those stores. But, there's no comparison. It doesn't look very big from the outside, but inside it seems to go on forever. Next door to The Halal Guys and the bank. They have everything from the expected fruits and vegetables, meat and fish and food, to counter top appliances, kitchen gadgets, tea pots and more. The amount of the inventory is beyond comprehension. Not just a few choices in a category, but dozens if not more. Bring your translator App. the Asian products are the REAL thing. Everything on some of the labels are in Japanese or Korean. The fish counter reminds me of the ones I found in Tokyo. This one must be 30 feet long. No kidding. Every saltwater specie, from the expected mussels, clams, and salmon to red snapper, monk fish, mackerel... Then there's the imitation seafood case ( see the photo). I had to take a snapshot of the triangular sandwiches in plastic. It brought back happy memories living in Hachioji. There's are several restaurants and a seating area near by. The staff is very helpful and cordial. The aisles are wide enough. read more

I've been a pretty loyal customer for quite a few years now...and I've never had a problem with the H-Mart(this location). Most of the workers are kind and friendly and the cashiers are very good and nice. They have a good selection of fruit and produce and everything always looks fresh. Though the prices have gone up a lot...they have a decent selection of various meats and fish. The store in general is clean. My one problem and it was a problem indeed...was that a while ago I was checking their selection of apples, and I accidentally while reaching for a couple bumped into the display...knocking down 4 or 5 apples to the floor. So of course I bent down to pick them up and put them back. But...as I was doing that, the worker(of Asian descent) blew a gasket on me. He got very angry and raised his voice in a super nasty tone...almost as if I just committed a crime. I told him to lower his voice, they're just apples and I will pick them up and put them back. But he continued yelling at me in a very nasty way and I told him to calm down before I get management or he will have a bigger problem. This is absolutely no way to treat any customer at all!!! Especially when it comes to things like this. It can happen to anyone to say the least. Another customer came up to me and told me to just walk away and/or get the store manager. By this point this moron calmed down and walked away. I had mentioned it to management what had happened, left my wagon without making any purchase and I didn't return for 1 year. When I did return I noticed that this fool was no longer working here. I went back a few times and he still wasn't there. This led me to believe he was either fired or had moved on. My words of wisdom to this H-Mart: If you value business and customers...please train your employees properly and teach them that this is no way to treat anyone!!! There are way too many stores and options out there that a person can go to. But in the meantime...the store is okay. I no longer see this worker there anymore. And...I do shop there every now and then, just not as frequently as I used to.... read more

I really like this market it is really big it has good hot food and it has a huge selection of fresh produce shelved foods, and pre-cooked foods that you can just grab and go. This market is extremely clean, which is nice when you come here and everything is laid out really well read more

Great supermarket for finding all the Latin produce and fruits, they know their neighborhood! As an added bonus there are a ton of Korean specialties. They have a large selection of meats with diff. cuts and already pre-seasoned. If thats not enough, they also have a food court with some good asian options + a korean bakery. I dont come here for every day groceries, but if I need specific produce and planning a gathering that requires meats - this is the place to go! read more

The Kimchee-Pork dumplings (steamed) are super delicious (8 pieces for $8.99). They are not spicy at all to accommodate a gentler palette. However, there is a spiced chili-flaked soya sauce on the side if you want to add some flame. I usually prefer spicy, but I didn't want to add salt to this already flavorful dish so I forwent the dipping into this sauce. I also ordered the King Kimchee-Pork Dumpling that goes for $4.99, but I haven't tried it yet. It's a spin-off from the ever so popular Pork King Dumpling. Large enough to fill your tummy as a meal on its own! This H-Mart has a completely different feel to the one in Hartsdale. This is the location where the rice cakes and H-Mart ban-chans are made. Additionally, they have an extensive selection of marinated raw beef, pork and chicken so you can cook it at home without having to prepare them. This location is larger, cleaner, newer it feels like. I've decided to call this one my "go-to." read more

So the 1 star is for the supermarket as it was good all around. However my experience at the Pastry shop and the deli were both regrettable. We bought a pack of black and white cookies to take home for my niece but when she opened it there was mold between the cookies. We also bought 2 large crispy bone in chicken at the deli and that was bad. The chicken was going bad and it was obvious after one bite. Unfortunately we live a good 90 mins from the store so going right back was not an option. I tried calling the store the next day multiple times and they transferred me to the deli. The man said something rather quickly and hung up. I was given a number to the owner and have tried calling and leaving messages and never got a response. Extremely disappointing and I will never ever go back to the store. read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! It's in a convenient location for me and I pass by it every day. Also, the fish is always super fresh, as well as the produce, which are the only two things I normally buy at the store. I've been here many times and will keep coming back here. I like this H-mart and it's food court one hundred times better then the one in Hartsdale. I probably should keep quiet about that because part of the problem with Hartsdale is it is always hectic. Not that this place isn't busy but in comparison it's usually better. I also think the food in the food court here is just better then Hartsdale. It's not much if any different in choice's but if you are already familiar and enjoy H-marts food courts then you will be more then satisfied read more

Surprisingly much more impressive than the one in Hartsdale. More space, more choices and a much more appealing food court - like crazy awesome. The food court options are technically about the same as Hartsdale, but the organization, presentation, table availability and cleanliness just blow away the Hartsdale location. Definitely eat at the food court first, then do your shopping. Japanese, Korean and Chinese are the standard fare. So happy I tried this one out. Improve?? First, how about not displaying and absolutely not selling moldy food. I went into HMart today and tried to pick out a bag of oranges and it was impossible. The oranges actually had white mold fuzz on them and you were able to put your finger through a lot of them, as well as other fruits. For the price of your fruits and vegetables . We were here for the noodle actually. A little disappointing on the noodle part because it's really not that great. Don't trust google reviews. The noodle is presentable however it lakes about everything. Price is good. Soup noodle comes in plastic bowl and flavor is zero. Apparently it's one line to get all the food stand here late at night. There are a couple options. The grocery however is huge here. We had a great time just wondering around the supermarket and check out Korean grocery. We end up getting some on sale items like sauce and snack which are great finds. We got here super late and therefore is not crowded at all. The shop does give a warning on their closing time so let people go home. read more

I love the food court at this new location better than the one in Hartsdale. The cashier who took care of us was very nice. She was patient as we brought some friends with us for din after a day at the pool. She gave great suggestions, explained to us that the computer system was down so we would have to really listen out for out orders and she even went to the candy aisle to grab a pack of Green Tea KitKats for me after I inquired as to where I might find them. She was awesome with a pleasant disposition. We order a few items, including Korean Veg Dumplings and Bibimbap which was accompanied by a nice array of Banchan, Japanese Ramen and Udon and some Korean Kalbi for the hell of it. All of the food was great. The orders were prepared with lightening speed and we were about to take our leftovers to go. All of the employees at the different food stalls were really nice and they gave extra condiments when asked. This location is actually closer to my home so we'll likely come here more often that driving further to Hartsdale. They're located in the former Pathmark strip mall so there's plenty of parking. The food court has plenty of pictures so you can easily choose your meal and if you gave questions they're very helpful with suggestions based on what your taste is. read more

Wow, this HMart puts the one in Hartsdale to shame. It is huge, and the selection of everything from produce to cookware is expansive. There are also TONS of samples all along the aisles for their frozen products. It is pretty amazing. The only thing about this particular HMart is that the arrangement of items is not separated by ethnicity (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, American, etc.), it is arranged solely based on categories (teas, noodles, etc.). This makes things a little harder to find if you are used to how HMart typically arranges their items. The food court offers a variety of different Asian cuisines. From fresh sashimi to bibimbap to Korean fried chicken wings (Waker chicken). There's also a selection of 'American' deep fried foods (onion rings, chicken fingers, etc.), but nothing looked super appetizing from that selection. My friend and I went with the fried chicken wings, and everything comes in a box that can be taken to go or easily unfolded to enjoy at a table in the food court. We ordered 2 half orders ($12 each) of the soy and the garlic, both of which are excellent choices - although I think we both enjoyed the soy more. The chicken also comes with a tub of pickled daikon, personally my favorite part of any fried chicken meal. I think it's great that you can go to HMart for a meal and for groceries and kill two birds with one stone. I'll definitely be back to this location soon! read more

Personally I prefer the one in Hartsdale. This one in Yonkers is much more updated and the food court is swanky but the Hartsdale store seems more authentic and much larger with more selection and the lack luster food court never disappoints. read more

I go there basically every two to three weeks. The fruit and nuts are excellent. The tuna fish and cold cuts are head and shoulders above the rest. The checkout girls are very helpful and courteous . They also have hot foods to eat as well. The store is very clean and well lit. The bathroom is also clean. A must see. read more

Love HMart and was excited for the Yonkers location to open as it's closer to me than Hartsdale. I shop there a lot. I was there 4 times this week and today is only Thursday. While the products are the same, the food court is not. Food court has different vendors and prices are significantly higher. A very recent addition to Yonkers location's prepared food is Waker Korean fried chicken. You know the chicken is not on point when the dipping sauce you scooped out for your spring roll from the buffet is hotter! Chicken looks good but is mild and it wasn't crispy enough. The take-out box was partially open to let the steam out and I got home in 5 minutes so not sure whether that played a part in it not being crunchy. There is minimal seating to dine in food court otherwise I would have eaten it there. Additionally it took 15 minutes for the chicken to fry and I was the only one ordering. I have no idea what they'll do on the weekend. Half order (6 drumsticks are $11.99 w/o tax) served with a side of pickled daikon. read more

This place is clean, large, well stocked, and a real gem in the area. If you're looking for asian items that are typically hard to find, this is the place to go! This is the nicest Hmart I've ever stepped foot in. It's amazing that this Hmart is just a few minutes away from the Hmart I normally go to in White Plains, but the quality is so different. The storefront is much bigger, larger variety of foods, cheaper fresh produce (best part!!!!!), and a bigger food court (with expanded options including dim sum and korean fried chicken that you should order 20 minutes in advance) The kimchi served at the food court is terrible, but other than that the food itself is good. The chinese food is also pretty terrible, so don't expect authenticity. It's as good as chinese take-out gets. The korean dishes are much better. The seafood pancake was fresh and crispy and VERY seafood-generous, so I recommend that. The seafood noodles were also generous. The curry rice side that comes with the ramen is VERY small, like the palm of your hand, so don't expect a lot for that either. The items from the bakery are delicious! read more

So thankful that this market is so close to me. It's super convenient when I need Asian produce and various ingredients and their meat and seafood is of much higher quality than stores like C-Town, Fairway, or Stop & Shop. I've been to many H-Marts before in different states but this one was the coolest! It is super modern and looks different than other H-Marts because of the dark floors and ceiling. It is extremely organized and clean. It wasn't as large as other H-Marts I've been to but the cafeteria was pretty extensive. The cafeteria sells ready-to-eat hot food items that are self-serve. It's $6.99 per pound of food but is normally $7.99 when not on sale. You can order at the stands in the food court and have a seat while you wait for your number to be called over the intercom. I really like how many fruit options there were. There's durian, jackfruit, two different types of dragon fruit, golden kiwi and so much more. They also have a beauty shop, a pharmacy, and a Korean BBQ area where you can buy pre-marinated meats. It looked as though the pharmacy wasn't open yet. They even had BTS coffees. My niece's bias is Suga so I purchased that one for her as a souvenir. There was plenty of space in the parking lot. Though this is a Korean market, they sell items that aren't Korean. They sell American, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese foods as well. You can find all sorts of Kit-Kat flavors like peach, strawberry shortcake and matcha green tea. We even found one of our favorite instant ramen brands from Indonesia. read more
