I ate the bridge mix but for me it had too many of the big malted milk balls, which I gave to my husband. So glad I found this place...was scoping out a casual spot for s good sandwich and a beer and took the recommendation of a neighbor to try this new deli. I found a nice beer selection (a full bar as well) and a GREAT sandwich. I had the Italian Beef with hot giardiniera and it was as good or better than any beef sandwich I have ever eaten - and I ate at least one a week while living in Chicago! I took my wife, daughter and her boyfriend back later that week. We ordered more Italian Beef but also the House Smoked Pulled Pork and the Avocado/Egg Sandwich. Everyone raves about their orders. Chef Tom visited out table and even offered a few samples of his jerky and sausage sticks...yummy. We are now working our way through the rest of the menu! Best lunch spot in town. You will find actual chefs here putting together a standard menu plus a creative variation of culinary delights. They have special events like cooking classes, wine pairings, small plates, and sushi night. You won't find food like this anywhere else in the northwoods. I have eaten here around 100 times trying many different things. It's just all varying degrees of good food. Try the great northern haddock sandwich, the grilled cheese of the week, or any of the fantastic specials. Had a couple impressive sandwiches today. I really enjoyed the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork Cuban was excellent as well. Being the first in the area to have the new commercial Stella Artois draft machine was a great surprise. I can see where some in the area may think it's over priced, but truth be told some people aren't used to having sandwiches that are truly made from scratch. It's a craft! I'm a chef with 45 years of work in the kitchen and many many years training chefs. My wife said go try this place. Wives are always right. She just proved it. Stop here and eat.
