My friend suggested going here because she wanted a Cuban coffee! First, it's right off a paid parking lot so that was downside but there is a super cute key west mural! It's a walk up place so definitely to-go. What I enjoyed was that I was able to get my cafe con leche with soy milk inside of the usual whole milk and I got it iced!! Not as authentic but I love that I was able to customize it since I was too full from the weekend for heavy coffee. They were quick and friendly and I definitely recommend! read more

On vacation in key west desperately seeking Cuban coffee I thought I found the place. Boy was I wrong. The ambience is beautiful, and location is phenomenal. Walked up to the window first clue that struck me was the Spaniard music playing on the speakers. Then the cashier turned around and I realized maybe I should abort this mission. I ordered a "bucci" , iced cafe con leche, regular cafe con leche and the key wester with bacon. The disgraceful shot of "Cuban" coffee was: #1 not Cuban coffee. #2 tasted like mud water #3 impossible to get the taste out of my mouth #4 THE MAIN REASON THIS QUEEN SHOULD BE IMPEACHED Ok now to the good stuff the key wester was delicious and the ice cafe con leche was good. The regular cafe con leche was a disgrace. I'd like to note the low rating because Cuban coffee queen can't be a title if you don't sell real Cuban coffee. I'm sorry. The music part would be great if you had Cuban music playing lol. Sorry if I hurt your feelings I'm just giving my honest opinion. read more

Food was so good and the coffee was also tasty. I had the weekender. It was so much sandwich. The bread was so soft and the pork inside was flavorful. The coffee con Leche was definitely a must try although I had to had sweetener. When we arrived there was no line but people were definitely flooding in! Get there early! read more

Place was crowded when we got here found them on yelp! The Cuban bagel was good except there's not enough cream cheese or filling in the sandwiches. The burrito was OK. Kind of bland. coffee needed more sweetener which I asked them to do and I did it which was nice. So everything is pretty good except is not enough feeling inside the pastry a bit Overpriced. I wouldn't come out of your way to come here. I also felt rushed when I was ordering my food. read more

All hail the Cuban Coffee Queen! This spot is LEGIT! The shop is not fancy by any means, but this Queen is serving up delicious Cuban coffee and other Cuban delicacies. My Iced Cuban Coffee hit the spot after sweatily walking around all day. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Mallory Square, but worth the trek no matter where you're at on Key West. There is also a cute Key West mural painted on the side of the building, perfect for tourist photo ops! read more

What a great spot for breakfast, definitely check this place out when you are down here for vacation - the food is tasty and the prices are very reasonable. It's a food truck so it's best to take it to go which is what we did, our hotel was not that far of a walk. There are bunch of menu items to choose from - different kinds of Cuban sandwiches and coffee. Coffee is really good, I always go for the Cafe Con Leche since you can't go wrong. FYI- it was the best coffee I had when I was down in Key West. Although it's always crazy packed here (hint hint: that means its worth the trip) the line moves very quickly. The staff is very efficient at doing that and they are super friendly. read more

I came for the coffee- and it was good! I had a Cuban coffee, I know it said it was made with cane sugar, and it was delicious. I wonder what else?? Can I get some shipped to the frozen north? This delightful little place near the heart of Key West was so fun to visit. We peeked in at the coffee roastery across the alley as well. My sister got some iced tea and we were set to head off to the Key West Cemetery to look around. What a great morning we had! OMG... let me tell you about this little walk up coffee spot in Key West. I discovered it on my yelp app and we were dying for some good Cuban coffee! The wife ordered the cortadita and I ordered an iced Cuban coffee. OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. Strong but not knock your socks off, gag you strong. Just the right amount of sweet and boldness. Oh and not to mention, the ice cubes were made out of espresso YUM! I also ordered the sunrise special, a delicious breakfast sandwich. It came on a homemade biscuit that was buttery and flakes, with a fresh egg, gooey cheese and hot spicy sausage. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts we had in all of Key West... and very reasonably priced compared to some of the other tourist traps! The Cuban was also to die for... I think it might have bodega in st Pete beat! The bread tastes like they just pulled it out of the oven. If you're down by the marina, I highly recommend stopping by this coffee window and grabbing a drink and a Sammy. You can thank me later. read more

Came here for breakfast and got the iced coffee with vanilla, and my husband and I each got a Cuban mix (one with chicken and one with pork). The Cuban mixes were good, but with the addition of lettuce it was a bit more watery and messy than usual. It was also hard to get the usual taste of mustard which I was wanting. The Cuban mix was big enough to have half for breakfast and the rest for lunch. The coffee was good, I liked that the ice cubes were made out of coffee so that things didn't get watered down. Good Food, Friendly staff, there's almost always a line but don't worry, it moves fast! There's a reason this place has 2 locations on the island. We came here almost every day during our stay. I'm sorry it took until like the 2nd or 3rd day for me to try the Bucci (Cuban Espresso Shot). But once I tried it, I came back again and again for it. Food: The sandwiches are big. The first day we went here, we were starving so it hit the spot. The 2nd day when we came back for breakfast we should've just gotten the half sandwiches. Every single worker here was smiling and seemingly enjoying life. This is a small business with incredible Cuban coffee. We ordered a Key Wester, a breakfast burrito and a Cuban bagel. My daughter in love ordered a iced turmeric con leche. The food was hot and fresh. The chorizo was not overly spicy so it was a perfect for breakfast. A large Cuban con leche with an extra shot from Cuban Coffee Queen may be the greatest, most efficient caffeine buzz you've ever had. Drank it at 9 am - was still going strong 12 hours later. Delicious, dark, strong coffee. Let them add sugar and cream for you only if you like your coffee very sweet and very rich. The Key Wester sandwich is killer. The cream cheese and guava bread is good, but I'd stick to the basics instead: fresh Cuban bread, sweet butter, dunk it in your con leche. What a way to start a day in Key West - or anywhere. CCQ is a food truck, so seating nearby is pretty limited. But you can walk your breakfast a block or so to the harbor and enjoy the view. read more

You can find Cuban Coffee Queen's coffee all over the island if you want to try it but don't want to trek to this spot FYI, but it's worth it to try the food. I don't see how you could go wrong with a coffee and a sandwich from this place. The location is convenient if you're parking nearby to explore downtown or the harbor. You can park at the lot, and have a quick simple lunch before or after your walk-around. Good, friendly service - fast and efficient. I always go with a colada (sweetened) when grabbing a Cuban coffee. Many of you will inevitably dump a jug of milk with your coffee, but that's ok - your loss. And, they do that too. I actually think coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos are better with a strong Cuban coffee anyways. I had the Hot Roast Beef with Cheese, which was loaded with their Havana beef. Think Ropa Vieja on Cuban bread with melted cheese. It's served with a horseradish sauce, and I'd recommend asking for extra - seriously, ask them to smother it everywhere. I think the rest of their menu looks amazing, and I'm impressed they serve all of that from this small, little unit in a parking lot. If there's a line - don't worry, it moves fast. When in Key West, you should definitely eat your fair share of fresh oysters and shrimp, but to keep a balance include some Cuban lunch and/or breakfast. And when you're not drinking alcohol, you should probably be drinking Cuban coffee. read more

As someone who likes their coffee really strong and sweet, I loved my iced vanilla coffee!! I'm not sure if I've had Cuban coffee before so I don't have something to compare it to, but I thought it was the perfect balance of sweet and strong. The vanilla wasn't too overpowering like lots of vanilla lattes I get. Location was super cute! This is the to-go location in Key West but I highly recommend grabbing a coffee and finding a seat by the water. read more

The baristas are not trained well. The espresso rushes from the portafilters and the drinks are not good. This place probably survives because of a constant flow of tourists desperate for caffeine but not because of quality. Only upside is that the staff was friendly. read more

We also just opened a new location just off Duval street in the courtyard of Duval and Southard street, at 5 Key Lime square. It's a cozy little sandwich and coffee shop tucked into the corner of a store filled with Cuban Coffee Queen merch, great ambiance and a perfect casual spot to grab a bite. I ordered the Caliente Cuban Mix with ham and pork, and it hit all the right notes, flavorful, high-quality, and a great value. I also tried the Mango Iced Tea, which was such a fun twist. They use frozen mango chunks as ice cubes, which added both flavor and flair. I ended up going back to try their Cuban Vanilla Coffee, and it was just as good. I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by Cuban Coffee Queen. After placing a delivery order online, I received a phone call informing me that they don't offer delivery after 3:00 p.m. and I should pick up my order instead. Firstly, there was no indication during the online ordering process that deliveries weren't available after 3:00 p.m. When I requested the girl to cancel the order and refund my credit card, she responded that she didn't know how to do it. Subsequently, I asked to speak with the manager, but there was no manager available. Despite calling back the same day, the day after, and even a week later, I have yet to receive my refund. I absolutely loved the Cuban coffee at this spot! The food and drinks they offer are incredibly delicious. Admittedly, it's a bit on the pricey side, but when you're in Key West, it's totally worth it. I could happily eat here every day, and the fact that they have two locations is a big plus. The only drawback for me was all the roosters running around while I was eating, but that's a minor inconvenience. The Cuban sandwiches they serve are hands down some of the best I've ever tried, and the coffee is simply amazing. If you're a fan of Cuban cuisine, this place is a must-visit! read more

This is a very very good place! I went to the one by the ocean, the reason(s) this place is so good is the coffee and the sandwiches I had a cafe con leche and some and a Cuban mix sandwiches. The cafe con leche was very good because the coffee is strong and the cream is perfect it was sweetened just right. The Cuban mix sandwich was very good it had turkey and ham and was the best. the ambiance reminded me of a nice local bodega, i went to the one by the schooners warf. Living in Seattle we have coffee shop in every block, so we have high expectations when it comes to our coffee.CUBAN COFFEE QUEEN is our favorite coffee place in Key west, INEXPENSIVE almost half the price you pay if you go to starbucks... their cafe con leche really good if you like Iced coffee the ICE is made out of coffee and I mean coffee ice cube.. that's kinda cool, so your coffee doesn't get watered down when the ice melts..... genius and unique! Delivery si always prompt and friendly. Some days I just can't live without my Pan Cubano (cuban toast) with extra butter....I don't know what they put in it but it is SO addictive! And for lunch? I recently grabbed a breakfast sandwich and coffee from a local spot, and overall, I was pretty satisfied. The sandwich and coffee were both pretty good and hit the spot. One thing to note is that the shop doesn't have any seating available, which was a bit of a bummer. However, the location is great - you can grab your food and take a short walk to eat it by the water, which is a nice bonus. read more

This is an awesome little shack to eat at while you are in Key West. It is right by the docks in the water so you can grab your sandwich and coffee and eat it right next to the water or right on the benches outside the shack (they do not have bathrooms or indoor seating). We ordered the Shrimp & Grits (with the pico on the side), Eggs Benedict, and a side of bacon. I thoroughly enjoyed my Shrimp & Grits and even added crumbled bacon, which made the dish even better! My husband said his Eggs Benedict was excellent as well. To drink, I had the Caramel Latte, which was absolutely delicious. I prefer flavored coffee drinks, so it was the perfect choice for me. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Great food, great service, and a wonderful overall dining experience. We will definitely be back!
