I live in Georgetown and used Mighty movers to move from a one bedroom apartment to a bigger apartment building with an elevator. They did an incredible job, they moved everything in my apartment, including wall hangings that I assumed I'd have to remove myself. They asked, "would you like this painting to go too?" I said, "sure!" and they removed it from the wall and carefully wrapped it with a blanket. There were no extra charges, I only paid what I was quoted, the movers were efficient and quick. Very well organized. They unloaded my entire apartment in less than 50 minutes! They unloaded, placed my furniture, and put my bed back together in about an hour. We picked Mighty and they made the whole moving experience relatively painless. They quoted a very fair price which they stuck to, they showed up a little before the appointed time, loaded everything faster than we thought humanly possible, they showed up to unload their truck a little late because of a blown tire, unloaded everything post haste, and they did everything just right. These guys are top notch! Literally the best moving experience I've ever had. They arrived on time, had the manpower and packing materials ready to go, and legitimately hustled the whole time. I mean the entire time: from loading the truck to unloading at the destination, these guys never stopped! They even helped reassemble a tricky item that required multiple people to do correctly. You get a detailed receipt with full cost breakdown and can pay with credit card, which is a plus. I've had some terrible moving experiences in the past where they purposely under-quote you or they move slowly to jack the price up, so I'm always hesitant with movers, but I will be using these guys if I ever move again and I'll recommend them to anyone!! Was told over the phone that my move would be 4/5 hours no one ever came out to do a free estimate. When movers arrived they said 8 hours easy, 13 hours and over 1400.00 later!!! Move started at 2:00pm ended at 2:30 AM. Movers were tired and lazy, they complained about everything being heavy! Really you are MOVERS! We had to keep them motivated. Last minute they had me packing desk drawers because they were, "too heavy." I called and asked if They would move desk with stuff in the drawers and was told, yes as long as there are no breakables. I could go on and on but I won't. I expected a call from the company because they knew I was not a satisfied customer, but no one ever called so I'm submitting this review.
