Today, I went to move from my 5x5 space to a 10x20. I reserved the 10x20 to move to a little over a week ago. When reserving the space online the system did not allow me to pick the space that I saw. automatically put me in a different space. When I get there to move in today, nothing had been shoveled and the automatic door opener was not working for the gate. The attendant was coming out during this process. I told what I was there for and he had quite the attitude because he stated he was about to leave It was 11:39pm. Leaving already. There is never anyone there. Then dealing with him was terrible as there was no customer service. He was aware of my situation. He asked me to retrieve the lock from the storage space that was initially held for me and bring it back because he had to leave. Well that started a entirely different issue. The storage space was in the D building all the way in rear of the facility. Well they have not cleared any of the snow. So it was challenging to get to the space. I go get the lock and put the lock on my new unit. As I was heading back to the office my 2022 Mercedes got stuck on the incline of the driving path heading back to the office. The snow was so high and slippery that my SUV slid into the fence. Luckily the tire of the car stopped me from hitting the fence. I had to call a tow service to get me out. The attendant left me there after providing with some salt and a little assistance with his shovel. He left after 30 minutes. There were other customers that were having challenges driving to their units. One car almost slid into my car. The tow truck came after two hours and he also was sliding and had challenges getting out. They are trying to charge me for the extra time being in the 5x5. NOT HAPPENING! The issue is there is no customer service at this facility nor do they care. I will be reaching out to corporate as I have a 5x5 that I still needed to move out of today. However, I could not because I needed my SUV to get the items from one unit to the next. I could not run the risk of getting stuck again. There people complaining of the challenges they had. I started to inform customers to not risk getting stuck trying to get to their facility. This is all on the video cameras that they have. Absolute unacceptable!

Upon hearing that I would need my storage unit for a couple more weeks Maria extended my reservation to keep my rate and that really helped. On move in day I was given a phone call the day before, to check to make sure what time I was going to arrive. I was able to reschedule my time when I realised that the time slot didn't work any longer. The office staff were very flexible with helping me out. I was able to complete the whole moving process in less than 30 minutes. Overall I am happy with my unit I end up getting a 10 by 7 and a 1/2. I do like the ease of unloading my S UV into their docking station. I appreciate the climate control as it can get really hot during the summer and I was worried about my electronics. This was the true reason I picked this location even though about $50 more per month than the location about 2 miles away. All in all super excited about the fringe benefits of this location, To include utilization of a moving truck. The nice thing is that they allow you to use the moving truck up to 2 weeks from your moving date. This alone is going to save me a $150.

I've used many services before. This by far was the worst. Well not all aspects. The guys who…read morepacked our house - great. I mean they used our sheets and stuff to pack items, but whatever. The biggest issue I had was the guys who loaded our truck. They came over an hour late and then instead of wrapping our furniture, they just started tossing the stuff on to the truck unwrapped. The driver even had to tell them they needed to wrap it or he wasn't going to be able to leave. Then within 15 mins - they broke our credenza. We called the office right then and there and they tried to get the crew aligned a touch better. However there was no improvement. We got to our new home and all three TVs were busted dressed were scratched up couch ripped. Their response was - well we will look into it. I mean when the guys unloaded our stuff they took pictures so they wouldn't be blamed. So I guess the service was "fine" we just got a horrid crew in Atlanta to load our truck which is sad because they were the most important part.
