From start to finish Chris and his family helped explain cost and everything else. One of the items that needed to be sent was about 100 years old (found that out from my family after I had shipped it) and it was packaged so well when it arrived with the other items. To give some clarity on its journey, I had 2 chairs, a 100-year-old tea set and some fragile wall oddly shaped art that all went on one pallet. The pallet according to the tracking was transferred about 6 times on other trucks to make it here so it was bumped around countless times in terminals being loaded and unloaded. All arrived with 0 scratches, dents and fully intact. No better feeling then unpacking everything and seeing it in the condition I sent it in.

Needless to say they said we can't promise you we'll have it at the location selected nor guarantee we'd get the truck we reserved. Then changed locations in us 3 times. So I called Penske to get a quote. Not only did we get a great deal that saved us like $200! So my pick up location was Golden State storage off S Grand Canyon. Walked in and was greeted right away, even by their cute little pup lol. Darin made the process simple and was in and out. Showed me how to use everything as it was a new model of truck. Returned the truck the next day and was late by 7 mins! Penske charged me for another day and another day of insurance!! Darin called right away and got it all waived. Great going beyond for a customer. So if your in the southwest area, I highly recommend this pick up location and use Penske!! The storage facilities looked very clean and up to date as well. I paid Golden State Storage Blue Diamond $92 in advance while I was in the middle of a move. Their…read moreconfirmation assigned me a unit and listed a rental period beginning September 7, but it also clearly stated that signing the lease was required to finalize the rental. I never signed the lease, received a gate code or lock code, accessed the unit, stored property there, or took possession. A representative scheduled an appointment with me for 8:00 a.m. I could not locate my identification by that time, and at approximately 9:00 a.m. I attempted to complete the paperwork online before driving over. I discovered that everything had already been voided. When I called and asked whether my paid transaction had been canceled because I did not complete everything precisely at 8:00 a.m., the manager started talking over me ... basically, explaining that because I hadn't updated my ID by 8 AM on the day of my reservation, they canceled it... Then she told me to find another storage facility and hung up on me. Golden State then issued a receipt claiming that I had been moved out, even though I never moved in and their own email said the unsigned lease had not been finalized. A separate receipt shows that a $92 credit was submitted to my card. The treatment, sudden cancellation, contradictory dates, and inaccurate move out record were unacceptable. I have escalated the matter to corporate and requested a complete explanation and correction of the account history. I mistake bish negatively impacting the bottom line lol
