I set up my female friend with this company in hopes that they could take care of her and of course, they did. They helped her out of every penny that they could. There were three main problems, that honestly, I should have expected. 1. They were late. Not only that, they charged her for the time that they weren't there. I'd think that it'd at least be common decency to start the meter at the time that you get there. No, with these people, being late equates to overtime pay. 2. We prepaid this service through a groupon which was to give us 2 movers for 3 hours. The first hour was all about them being late and wasting time with paperwork. And even though they spent so much time with paperwork, they failed to tell her what the cost would be over 3 hours. It wasn't till the end of the day, that they raked in the cash and left my friend broke. 3. (My favorite part) They worked as slow as they possibly could. Like milking a cow, they took their time on EVERYTHING. They wanted to make sure that of the 10 items that they had to move, that they were going to make as much money as they could. I wanted to find a service that would be upfront about their cost. They could have at least given my friend an idea about what the total cost was going to be so she could at least figure out her budget, but no. These guys figured that being a woman, that she'd be an easy target and since she's obviously doesn't stand up for herself, they found just the right person that they could manipulate and take her for all she's worth. Good Job MNM. Way to screw a poor person out of their money.

I have moved around about 10 times in the last 4 years, and this is the WORST company I have ever dealt with.

When I called, mgmt told me "clients should take special care with special items" and was dismissive. They refused to take my calls. I called, texted and emailed a dozen times requesting a refund. And before people say I should have checked, I have a really bad back & a senior so I was down that day & the next, the movers told me to go to the new place and they would finish (300' away), I trusted them. I didn't realize anything was missing until my neighbor friends told me that they saw my items in the dumpster. Moving is stressful enough -- Best Priced Moving only made it worse. The estimate they offered was BEYOND reasonable - his competitors were priced 2-3x what he quoted! I only had a small 1BR to move - he quoted me $570 - I had other movers quoting me 800-$1300! He quickly drew up papers and we were in business for my move 2 days later. The/his movers surprised me by being 15 minutes early when I know this industry is notorious for being behind. They were quick, efficient and communicative throughout loading and unloading. A move they thought would take ~3 hours took barely 1.5hrs! Nothing was damaged in the move and they even offered to help me put furniture together with the time leftover. Thank you John, Adrian, Sergio, and Vinny for taking the stress out of my move!

The first day, their truck leaked oil all over our driveway, which was never cleaned up. Also all of their packing materials had cockroaches, which subsequently got into the house. After the moving was done for the day, I called the office again, after three of my calls were not returned, and spoke to Lisa who assured me the mess (oil and cockroaches) would be cleaned the next day and she would discount $50 off of our move. At this point, I should have known to cancel with Spade (aka. M n M) Moving, but they assured me the subsequent two days would go better. The second day, we had four movers at the house and they scratched the hardwood floor and broke bricks on the stairway because the guys didn't know how to use a dolly. No offer to pay us back for the lack of professionalism. The third day was the worst. The guys showed up TWO HOURS late. I needed a drop off in San Diego and because they arrived so late, the traffic was horrible, which ended up to be good for them since they get double drive time. FIVE HOURS later they arrived in San Diego. They did not drop our stuff off until 6pm! Then they had to go back to LA and it took another FOUR HOURS to arrive. They did not even finish moving everything in so we finished the job ourselves. I spoke to Eli on the phone and he hung up on me because I vented my frustration. For all of this inconvenience, the owners gave us $100 off our move, though we spent thousands with their company. I am reporting this company to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and pick another company! The owners are cheap and their cheapness shows in the quality of their work.

US DOT 2160376 & MC 750828. 888-909-6270 & 408-987-5455. I can't put my whole rant due to Yelp's character limitation, but if anyone wants more info., feel free to contact me. They were late with no notification. Also, I understand they want to protect the goods, but they go way overboard with the packing supplies. So, my quote went from $2.5K to actual over $4K. It also took them over eight hours to pack my 987 sq. ft. condo. Which it's good they don't charge by the hour, but it was just boxes and a few pieces of furniture! They also switched us from weight to cubic feet, which, if you google, is a typical moving company last minute scam. I know it's totally our fault for agreeing to cubic feet over weight, but that's what you have to do when they tell you it's your only option or they're not going to move you. Same thing with not offering extended insurance. Only a whopping 60 cents per lb. reimbursement. In June, we gave the first available delivery date of 6/22/12. She claimed the woman paid her outstanding balance two days before the news story aired and they didn't have time to deliver her goods between then and the airing date. I just said, "Um, okay," because I wasn't going to argue with the lady in charge of delivering my items. Why wouldn't the news check the woman's bank statement she produced and the dates? The weekend came and went. No furniture. Monday I called dispatch and spoke with Allie, with her winning personality (insert sarcasm here). Allie informed me that I shouldn't be receiving my goods as they were still in California? What? Why would two different people call me to tell me that they were on their way, then? Allie didn't know and really, Allie didn't care. I called Allie three times more as she never called me back. Finally, she swore my goods were still in California and that they wouldn't be in Washington for about a week and a half. An hour later (and this is when it gets so freakin' crazy, I'm actually laughing as I write this), we get a call saying our goods will be here on the afternoon of July 3rd between 1-3. My husband told the woman we'd been told we'd have to wait another week and a half. The woman laughed and said that was ridiculous. HUH? I shot another email to Lea asking where the heck my stuff was. No response. I even called Allie and let her know my goods were being delivered. She was overcome with joy (insert sarcasm here). I asked her if this would be all of my belongings, as she had sworn the day before everything I owned was still in California. She replied it should be everything and someone must have forgotten to update the log. Again, something I could forgive, but with Allie's "I don't give a s*$t attitude", it infuriated me a bit, especially since this shows that this company really has no clue where your belongings are. Alex kept getting delayed, but kept me informed , which I really appreciated. When he arrived, he and his partner did great work, being especially careful not to damage our brand new home. We received (& returned) expensive items that didn't belong to us. We had items missing, like tools and my brand-new TV. How could someone just walk off with that if my goods had been "secure" the whole time they were in Nationwide's possession? We haven't unpacked everything, yet. Who knows what else is missing? One of my mattresses wasn't covered at all but I was charged for it to be covered. I'm not being unreasonable - glasses were broken. I packed them and they were a casualty of the move. However, every single piece of wood furniture is gouged and dented. They get away with it because you have to sign off on their inventory noting that every thing is pre-dented (using their code, which is easy to miss when you're stressed and tired from moving - my fault, I know). Allie, in her usual fashion, cared. She referred me to their 3rd party claims division for my 60cents a lb. reimbursement and said that items "easily" get mixed up and damaged between loads and moves. I even repeated it back to her as I couldn't believe she admitted it. Don't use this company. Also, if they store your items, your ins. won't cover them!

My review is pretty consitant with the other reviews. I was misquoted $2,300 and eventually had to pay for $7,500 for my complete move. They blamed the fact that I did not tell them all that needed to be quoted for which I know I did. They underbid to get my business and then just jacked up the price the day of the move when I had no other option. My place is less than 1,000 sq/ft and I live alone, so It's not like I have a family that I needed to move as well. How could they have misquoted so bad when I told the guy all of the large things that needed to be moved. I can see some disrecpancy but not more than 3x the cost. I even left my projection TV and Grill to make sure it did not continue to go up in price. My emails requesting an update to Mike Hachmon and reasons there were such a discrepancy never were answered. I was told numerous amounts of times that my belongings would be dropped off the week for which I spoke to Leah and did not receive my things or call backs. The supervisor, Nicole, who seemed to be a breath of fresh air after dealing with someone else, turned out to be like the rest. No call backs or responses to my emails. I was misquoted, lied to numerous amounts of time, never received repsonses to my emails or calls, and am still trying to track down my missing items. Each time I call I am told that I will have someone contacting me but never get a response. I have filed a report with the BBB and suggested that all other do as well. This is the most unethical company for which I have done business.

I slighted student movers one star on the review because they wanted to change my move date, but switched it back when I said I couldn't also I was moving from a loft and we miscommunicated about the space in the loft. I think instead of how many rooms and appliances, perhaps it should be square feet and how members in the house hold. We needed another guy and a bigger truck and ran over estimated time. Loft living requires extra cabinets/shelves and hiding spaces to hide your stuff. Also, we had to make several trips in our car to get the remaining stuff that didn't fit. It sucks because I'm really pregnant, and was just supposed to clean and turnover keys to the place but were not done moving

The lady who answered the phone was incredible and had a crew to me within 20mns. The guys that came were beyond professional, courteous and friendly. The best movers I have ever had. They knew exactly what to do and how to pack my storage to save space and make it easier for me to access it in the future. I highly recommend them and will be referring them to my friends and neighbors. I was almost in tears earlier and they came to me rescue literally.
