Matrix stood out amongst the others initially for their fair pricing and the fact they didn't charge double drive time like so many other moving companies. I am happy to report that I chose Matrix Moving for my recent move and Vlad and his team exceeded all expectations and I am very happy with my experience. From the weeks leading up to the move date until the final papers were signed at the end of the job, Vlad was extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions and even took the time to do a walkthrough of my previous place to ensure there were no surprises on moving day (not something any other company I used in the past did). The crew of three that did the job was fast and efficient and didn't waste any time. Very considerate and aware they were on the customer's dime. Things that had me a little apprehensive leading up to the move (we had to contend with trash day and some home theater equipment) the team handle with ease and care. All my stuff made it safely and I'm very happy with the result. I very much recommend Matrix Moving for any moving needs. The service was great and the communication and billing were straightforward and clear the whole way through. Thanks Vlad and Team for your excellent work!!

In my initial call with Art, he assured me that Elmer's Moving had taken necessary precautions for the safety of its crew and clients. Measures included wearing masks and gloves, disinfecting their equipment and scheduling only one move per day. Due to social-distancing, the quote was made by phone and other communications such as pictures of furniture was conducted by email. Since Elmer's was on a short list of "Approved Movers" for our new residence, Art and the experienced crew were very familiar with the regulations and nuances of the building. As a result, the move was on time, very efficient and charges very reasonable. I would highly recommend Elmer's Moving. Ask for Art!

When I was moving my 1300 sq ft house (of 35 years) I had been much more than half way packed, very neat boxes, neatly stacked, all sides of the boxes label, totally labeled, all stacked along one side of my garage. I got two quotes, eventually, regretfully, choosing this business. While getting quotes, Art did come to meet me at my house, he got full vision of the extent of my belongings, I was relying on his professionalism to guide me. I had a deadline that I needed to be out of my home of 35 years, moving to a new townhome 30 miles away, so I calculated "one day with the moving truck and another day to do my final cleaning" = 2 days, I expressed this to Art and he did not mention that one day with the truck may not be enough. Wow, within an hour, after the employees of this business loaded my very neat, organized stack of all the same size boxes into their truck, what was remaining needed to be "box up". Items left to pack were along the 3 perimeter walls of my garage (you know, the surfboard, my suitcases, a grill, a bike, stuff that was not easy to box up previous to this day). Wow, these guys became so rude when I asked to please load things in boxes with organization, I was paying by the hour and was willing to pay extra to take the time to stay super organized. In my face was a young man, Robert, yelling at me "we have to hurry; don't you tell me how to pack", I was shocked. Then, they announced that all of my stuff will not fit into their truck and we have to hurry, and this is going to take more than one day. So frustrating that I was not told that this was going to be a 2 day project. Because of the fact of the 2 days to move, my cleaning crew scheduling got all messed up. Exhausted, I ended up cleaning my home of 35 years all by myself, from 9:00pm to 2:30am (yes, 2:30am). I had to say goodbye to my home of 35 years, home my 3 kids came home from the hospital as newborns...at 2:30am, drive to my new home too exhausted to "celebrate", so very disappointed. Horrible experience from beginning to end!

This excellent review on Aid-U Moving Company is on my phone conversation with Adrian and my texting conversation on Yelp Projects with Emily. The (first place) that I called was Aid-U Moving Company to ask for a Free Quote on "How much will it cost me to move my personal things?" This is a list of my personal items that I need to pack up in boxes and move to another place. These items are as follows: The wardrobe (clothes), shoes, light furniture which will be 2 Computer wooden tables, my Dell Computer, Keyboard and HP All in One Printer, 2 table lamps, 2 dressers, 2 night stands, one single bed, shoes, one digital electric clock, 6 handbags, and 6 plastic filing boxes for storage. I asked Adrian to give me the total cost of me having to move my personal things from my mom's house into a (one bedroom studio apartment) or a (2 bedroom apartment) in Oceanside, CA? Adrian told me their Moving Company does not provide these packing boxes to the customer. I will have to go to Home Depot and buy these 24 Packing Cardboard Boxes with clear packing tape. Adrian said their Aid-U Moving Company does provide a truck that looks like a U-Haul Truck. I will have to call back on the cost of renting out this truck. Adrian this manager he told me I will have to pay a $100 deposit when I call him up and I set up a specific move date with him from my mother's house to a specific apartment that I will be unloading my things in Oceanside, CA. but Adrian told me I will get that $100 deposit refunded back to me. Adrian said the price is determined by the weight of my items I am moving out of my mom's house and also the price is calculated by the quantity. Adrian quoted me the price of $159.00 for a one bedroom space this price is for a local move to Oceanside, CA. I also received a text message from Emily this morning on the Yelp Projects on my Yelp Profile Page Account when I checked my messages Emily's message who works for Aid-U Moving Company. Emily asked me do I know the exact date I will be moving into a new one bedroom studio apartment? I said NO, I don't know yet because I have to do a search on apartments for rent.com this is a website that has listings of all kinds of apartments in different cities with their rent prices. Anytime I have to make a move it is always very stressful for me. I talked to Emily she was very nice and I explained the situation to her and I told her the rent just for a One Bedroom (Studio) Apartment is $2,150.00 the square footage is very small like 900 square feet that rent is overpriced. Emily told me that she understands what I am going through in me trying to find an affordable place to live in Oceanside, CA. Emily said she will give me Discount and give me 5 percent off the $159.00. I told her Thank you and I will call her after I find an affordable place to rent out in Oceanside, CA. I told Emily I will give her my business. Emily was very grateful. I received excellent customer service from Adrian and from Emily. This review will be updated after I find an affordable apartment to live in Oceanside, CA. I will hire the Aid-U Moving Company.

This time, we hired Aid-U for a full pack in addition to our move. The pack took a little longer than we hoped and meant the crew needed to deliver our belongings to storage the following morning instead of doing it all in a day as planned. They were able to accommodate the adjustment without any issues. They are on the pricier side, but we've had enough poor experiences with other movers that it was well worth it. They made boxes and blankets available for purchase which worked well for our last minute move. For future moves, even if they're packing, we plan to buy the boxes ourselves. Their prices for materials aren't egregious, but you can find them elsewhere for less.
