I booked a reservation at 430pm Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and shortly after I was being shown the grounds by a wonder man named Bob This facility is 81 units and they are all easily accessible. the units look brand new, no smell, we'll light and the price I was quoted is it NO adding fees or admin charges. also the cost for a 10x20 unit was basically the same as the competitors are charging for 10x10 unit on the fourth floor It's great value for my money and it was an easy transaction I would highly advise using this place for storage in the future Thanks

I was renting from Simply Self Storage on Main Street in Tewksbury, across from WOW Fitness center and Papa Gino's, but dropped them for many reasons. Simply Self Storage was dirty (they never swept the common/ hall areas), always had broken/missing wheel carts, very poor lighting, poor security, broken elevators, freezing conditions in winter (and open to elements), and expensive for what you get. 495 Storage is nothing like it, and Cindy and Andrea are pleasant, professional, and hard workers. I only wish that they have 24 hour access to units by customers, which they don't. I'll stay with 495 Storage for now. Note: 495 Storage (545 Clark Rd, Tewksbury, MA) became CubeSmart sometime during 2014. The facilities are basically the same, and staff are friendly enough. I feel my personal property is safe and secure, and the facility is clean. Update On June 2016: Received notice in mail on a postcard that their prices are going up in 2 weeks at a 17 percent increase. Place (Cube Smart) was not cheap before, but is getting ridiculous now and not acceptable. The recent increase is 6-7 times the rate of the national inflation. What gives?

When we rented we didn't deal with him, but rather with a nice woman who was helpful, kind and efficient. I am the one that has to come to our unit from time to time to get our seasonal stuff, or to put something in. It's rare that I come but whenever I do I see this middle aged man glaring at me like I have done something wrong. Till now it's just struck me as "off". Today there was an issue getting in, apparently our card had expired and they had our old address. Mike treated me like I had committed some crime, I offered to just give him the card (and hopefully be on my way). No. Mike is one of those guys that has to do everything just in his time and just in his way...and I get sometimes that's just policy. The thing of it is, Mike isn't about being even a little bit friendly or agreeable, quite the contrary. You spend a lot when renting a unit but there are TONS of places. I used to be in the moving industry. Like anything, there is competition and politeness counts. No reason to deal with the Stalin of Storage if you don't have to.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! My account was due on the 5th…read more It had been ONLY 4 DAYS, and the older bald man working there locked my unit after I told him I would pay on my next paycheck. He refused to unlock it, so I asked him to show me the policy regarding lockouts. He had to actually read the policy himself, and guess what it said? "All tenants 45 days late will be locked out." FORTY-FIVE DAYS. Not 4. You should have seen the look on his face when he realized he was wrong. He was refusing to unlock my unit over $50 when I was only FOUR DAYS late, even though their own policy clearly states that tenants are locked out after 45 days late. In the end, he had to unlock my unit because he was completely wrong. And this isn't even the first time he's gotten their policies wrong. I remember when he tried increasing my rent after I had only been there for TWO MONTHS. He kept telling me they raise the rent after three months, even though I hadn't even been there for three months! These people seem so money-hungry and desperate for $50 that they'll be petty enough to lock someone's storage unit after FOUR DAYS, even when they have a written policy that clearly says otherwise. Maybe he should read the policies before trying to enforce them.
