They did know ahead of time exactly what they were moving. The more distressing thing is the condition of furniture that was put in storage. They did not plastic or blanket wrap antique wood furniture, or box lamp shades, so that we have several badly scratched table tops and a broken Tiffany glass lamp shade. They didn't even think to cover the floors moving furniture in and out in the middle of winter when they were going through slush to get to the trucks, and when I covered the entrance they kicked the covering aside and walked on the floor anyway. These guys are young, friendly and do their best, but they are not professionals, and not even trained to move things correctly.

They were very friendly and only took the minimum quoted time to complete the job. I was able to get a quote via a text with 15 minutes and all the paperwork was flawlessly emailed to me immediately. Never really considered them for moving furniture between floors but they got it done. Highly recommend them and don't forget they now can handle the removal of "junk/unwanted" items too.

Our move from St. Louis to Ypsilanti, MI in August 2025 was a mixed bag. Hard to say if I would…read morerecommend them. We did 90% of the packing ourselves. The positives include: 1. A thorough review of the contents to be moved versus the cursory review by competitors. 2.A competitive price. 3.Our things were moved in dedicated trucks and not mixed in with other people's stuff. 4. Honestly about damages: a table literally fell apart during packing and the crew pointed it out to me rather than concealing it. 5. No high pressure sales tactics. 6. The guys were patient with my wife repositioning furniture at the destination. 7. Nothing was broken although we had quite a few minor dings in furniture. 8. Crews showed up on time at both ends of the trip. Negatives include: 1.No formal acknowledgement of payment. They were almost offensively anxious to get the final payment even though the third and final truck had not arrived. 2. Loss of focus at the end of the day: We did a walkthrough at the end of the loading process. Every time we found something that needed to go into the truck, the guy leading the walkthrough took it out, chatted with the guys on the truck, and then we would lose our place. This resulted in a few things being left behind. At delivery, the guys took down a door to get furniture into the basement but never put it up again. They also left a moving blanket and personal items belonging to one of the guys. The items were eventually restored to their owner. 3. Not mentioning messes or problems. After the truck left I found that one of our toilets was plugged with toilet paper, paper towels, and human waste from someone that was apparently ill. Fortunately, I found the problem and was able to unplug the toilet and clean things up so this mess was not left for our cleaning crew. I think I would have responded calmly to this if I had been told about it. I can appreciate that it would have been embarrassing to report this to me. I'm human too.

The broke numerous items, one of the four movers quit midway through the first day and wasn't replaced, adding to the total hours. Two of them were on their first day and had no idea how to pack. A single saucer had two feet of paper wrapping. They added things from different rooms to boxes, so a toaster in the box with the bedding, etc. They broke two things, gouged the stairs, stole a bottle of pain killers, asked if they could have one of our personal items, and left a bunch of stuff at the old house we had to hire a separate hauler to move. Do not hire them--it was a complete disaster and mismanaged from beginning to end.

This was a move of approximately 38 miles from Brighton to Okemos. Before loading even began, I expressed concern that the truck appeared too small for the contents of my home. After a walkthrough, I was assured it was the correct size. The move ultimately expanded to additional trucks, additional labor, additional days, storage, and charges that far exceeded the estimate I had been given. What followed was even more difficult. Large portions of my belongings were not placed into the appropriate rooms of the house. Instead, my garage was packed floor-to-ceiling so densely with boxes and furniture that I could not physically access many of my essential belongings, including clothing, toiletries, medications, office supplies, kitchen items, and even some perishable goods. I have photographs documenting these conditions. Living alone and with physical limitations, I was forced to hire additional help simply to move boxes and furniture so I could regain access to my belongings. As I gradually unpacked over the following weeks, I continued discovering additional damaged property, misplaced items, missing items, and repair needs that could not reasonably have been identified on moving day. The financial impact has extended well beyond the moving bill itself. I have incurred additional expenses for labor, furniture relocation, repairs, and correcting problems left behind after the move. The time spent recovering from this move has also delayed my ability to return to work and restore my home to a functional condition. Despite having already paid thousands of dollars for the move, I have continued to receive collection demands and threats of litigation over the remaining disputed balance while I am still documenting property damage, missing items, repair costs, and other losses. Rather than working toward a practical resolution, the dispute has continued to escalate. This matter remains disputed, and I am documenting my damages and evaluating my legal claims. My advice to anyone considering this company: * Read every contract carefully. * Clarify in writing how additional trucks, labor, storage, and extra days will be billed. * Photograph everything before, during, and after the move. * Keep copies of every email, text, invoice, and estimate. * Continue documenting damages as you unpack because not everything is discoverable on moving day. This review reflects my personal experience.
