There are actually several appetizers on the menu that look good - it's always tough for me to choose - but if you just wanted to drop by for a happy hour nibble, I'd say most people would be covered. It'd be fair to say that apps are one of their strengths. I had a caesar salad, and it was good! Pretty standard caesar, but I'm amazed that many restaurants manage to screw it up by drowning it in dressing or whatever. None of the common mistakes here - nice fresh, crisp lettuce... good dressing and imo the right amount - not too heavy, not too light. Just right. One of my friends had the Chicken Parm and the other had Shrimp Scampi - both reported goodness! The dishes looked great, but I behaved this time and kept my fork to myself. I had the salmon - one of my "go to" dishes - and it was good as well. Yes... we had dessert! There were several good options, but we decided to share the cookie "mess". It's from a jar, packaged and frozen products put together slabbed on a plate and called Italian. The owner commuted pizza was easier, pull dough from freezer, put sauce, toppings and bake. It took another 5-10 minutes for our server to check in, and when she did, we asked for a little more time. Our appetizer didn't arrive for at least 30 minutes, and the salads took even longer. By the time we finally received them, we had already been there for about an hour. At that point, we decided to just have our food boxed up to go. When we got home, the food itself was also disappointing.
