I was there 1/23/2025. We had reservations so we were seated rather quickly. The restaurant had plenty of space regardless. We were served by Kalio (sp?). He was the bartender that decided to service our table. He was very good. He knew the specials of the day. We ordered arancini, a side of fettuccini with Alfredo sauce, Margherita pizza , veal parmigiana and a calzone. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was very tasty. We asked for extra bread and it was brought out immediately. All in all it was a great experience. We will certainly be returning. read more

This place is so nice inside - huge bar , very comfortable. The 2 times we have been there the food was great , however some food comes out blazing hot and other food comes out cold. We ordered aracini and they were cold in the middle - so the next time ordered fried mozzarella which was delicious but should have been served hot , fresh out the fryer. This place is LOUD. I mention this not simply because a group can't really share conversations, but because it likely contributed to the multiple mistakes in our orders. After saying and pointing to the eggplant parmigiana and mussels with sausage and vegetables "for our mains," my wife was brought veal parm and I was brought a starter with only mussels and no sides. She settled for three comically huge meatballs in tomato sauce instead due to time constraints. Decent, but in lieu of the missing pasta she used the otherwise forgettable table bread which seemed to work. No house wines exist for a reasonable cup with dinner, only pricey choices from their otherwise admirably long list. There is a canned goofy birthday song over loudspeakers that staff swarm tables in time with, adding to the "ambience." Our group was there for a pair of birthdays ourselves, but we (unsuccessfully) attempted to decline as it was mentioned when making reservations. One member of our party likened it to a Chuck E. Cheese. The service was otherwise in fact pleasant, and the dining room spacious, clean and modern looking. The food was decent once you sat down to it, whatever you end up with. We went to Cucina Moderna last night because it was the only place we could find where we could sit outside and there wasn't a wait for a table! We had a dog with us so we needed to be outside and what a treat! Sonny took care of us and he was a pro through and through! He got us everything we asked for and the food was quick and DELICIOUS! We got the fried mozzarella and ravioli to start and shrimp parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, and the kids spaghetti and meatballs and everything was sooooo good! The atmosphere is great and the decor is spectacular. What will having you coming back for more is the food and service. Ask for Johanna! She greets you with warmth and makes you feel like family. The food was perfection, I had the chicken Frances with linguine. The thin crust pizza with prosciutto, figs, arugula and balsamic drizzle will transport you back Italy. AVOID LEONARDO the newly hired waiter with over 20 years of service experience - he is the rudest person I have ever met as a server and given his neglect I DOUBT he has ever done this or even wishes to keep his job. He DID NOT deserve any tip but he rushed my husband to sign and the tip went through. We visited Sunday March 17th with my mother daughter and son in law. We were at this place once before and we had great service and food. Not so much thisd time - music was so loud we had to repeat our orders multiple times to our less than desierable server - the food was mediocure - and given the poor service it made it a non so memorable experience. I didnt finish the filet minon sandwhich because the meat tasted funny and he never bothered to ask why; my mom's omlet was served raw and the truffle fries were burnt. My husband had to wait over 22 minutes for a beer and when he finally came with the beer he lied blaming the cup chiller but we saw him foolong aeround in the back trying on St Patricks day hats. At the end Leonardo got mad and snatched the receipt from my husbands hand because I wanted to review the final bill before we paid. This guy needs to be fired. I didnt complaint to the manager because I wanted to enjoy the day without drama but we WILL NOT RETURN thanks to Leonardo. read more

We went there on Sunday. The place wasn't really crowded. The decoration is on point. Soft music. The menu is moderate, and prices are affordable. I loved the decor of the place. Unfortunately, I ordered a fagioli soup and almost broke a tooth with a piece of bone. What was that bone doing in a fagioli soup? That's not part of the ingredients. A thousand images of nasty reasons came to my mind about why a huge piece of bone was in the soup, but I preferred to act like nothing happened. Anyway, I told my waiter about it, a very nice guy, and even though he offered for me to talk to the chef directly, I refused because I didn't want to bring negative energy to a family moment. So I just told him to inform the chef about the problem and give me an explanation. I was expecting an answer from the kitchen about the incident, but nothing happened. Are we coming back? Not sure. Went with two friends for a quick lunch and chose to dine here due to all of the good reviews. Honestly the food was extremely underwhelming. We ordered calamari for a starter and were disappointed by the lack of flavor. We ordered chicken parmigiana, chicken vodka pasta, & a colossal shrimp pasta (which got sent back). All of which extremely lacked of seasoning even bare minimum salt. Drinks were tasty though! Ambiance and design are definitely a 5 star just not the food. read more

I don't understand people's Hype here. First i want to say, our server was GREAT- she was prompt, present and did wonderfully. Food: Fried Rice ball and Calamari for app. Rice ball was fine, except the sauce was B L A N D and overly sweet. Calamari tasted like nothing. no seasoning of any kind in the breading or on the meat....same sweet and bland sauce. with a second sauce that wasn't any better. I ordered a Lobster Ravioli which was on special, obviously i EXPECTED this to be a $30+ plate, anything with Lobster really.....however they gave me F O U R ravioli. They were not exceptionally large or anything- four standard size round ravioli ($32). My father in law ordered a Seafood pasta, he had to remove a later of skin or vein from each ring of squid, saying it was getting caught in his throat. and i watch him peel off every membrane as he ate. Warm goat chees quinoa salad for my mother in law had no complaints! Ambiance of the place was weird, very NICE looking on the inside, no complaints there- however this weird club remix of every song they played, and it was a tad too loud. If you're in Miramar looking for GOOD Italian food, I'd recommend Amici Trattoria- across Miramar parkway from this place in the smaller plaza. read more
