I was hankering for some french fries and didn't care what went with it. My better half wanted shrimp. Where did we go?!? Yeah. The Tuscan fries were absolutely perfect! Satisfied my craving completely. The shrimp Palermo was heavenly and paired perfectly with that garlic rosemary bread. Melissa was so sweet and checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. That caponata nearly brought tears to my eyes, it was so good!!! I met up with friends here for lunch last week. We had a wonderful time! Our server, Slade was so nice! The guy smiles right through everything no matter how big the crowd gets. The booth/table we were seated at was perfect for our group. It was along the back wall and all six of us sat there comfortably. I ordered the pasta Bolognese and it came with a garden salad. It was really fresh with romaine, diced tomato and onion. The Italian dressing was good but I added a touch of Ceasar dressing to make it stand out. Several of my friends had the pizza and it looked wonderful. It was thin, crispy with good quality toppings. I will definitely have to come back for pizza. The Rigatoni Bolognese was plentiful. It arrived in a large shallow bowl with a sprig of fresh basil on top. At first I liked it until I tasted how much pancetta was in the dish. It tasted like bacon not ground beef. The sauce was not completely a red sauce. I'm used to a more traditional Bolognese sauce. This is definitely a great place to hang out with friends. I go to Sicilian Oven in Weston all the time for the chicken parm lunch, which always comes with pasta and a salad. So imagine my surprise when I ordered three chicken parm dinners for the first time and discovered that the dinner version comes with no pasta and no salad -- just the chicken by itself. It makes no sense. This is not a family‑style restaurant; charge a few dollars more and include the pasta like every normal place does. To make things worse, when I placed the order, I said "no sauce on the pasta."So I received 1 order of what looked like 1/4 cup worth. As usual -- because this happens at lunch too -- they took that to mean no sauce on the pasta AND no sauce on the chicken. I have no idea how that keeps getting misinterpreted. Even the staff at lunch can't understand why the kitchen repeatedly makes this mistake. When I called, the young woman who answered was polite and explained the dinner policy. Fine. Then came the manager, Chelsea, who seemed more focused on repeating that policy than addressing the fact that my family's dinner was wrong. Instead of acknowledging the issue -- that we drove there, picked up the food, drove home, and discovered the same mistake they've made countless times -- she doubled down on the pasta explanation like it was some groundbreaking revelation. Her solution? I was "welcome to come back." Because after driving there, picking up the food, driving home, and discovering the same mistake they've made countless times, what I really want is another 20‑minute round trip so they can finally put sauce on chicken parm. I love love LOVE this place! For some reason we order mainly on Sundays and it never fails to satisfy. The food is amazing. I love the WINGS! It's a MUST! Wood fired wings! Our usual is an order of wings, a small Joey D pizza (meatballs and ricotta) with some garlic rosemary bread and pasta bolognese. Oh my goodness so Delicious. I have never had such speedy service anywhere like this! I went on a Thursday evening and it was PACKED. Our wait time was only 20 minutes and I can see why! As soon as we were sat our server came to get our drink order and followed by our dinner order which were a few dishes we shared. And wow did they come out fast! Everything tasted fresh and delicious but what stole the show for me were the Crostinis which I will be ordering large next time. Coming on a Friday at 5:30 PM we knew there was going to be a wait time. So when they told us it was a 30-35 minute wait, we didn't think it was that bad. We actually ended up waiting 55 minutes. This location is also next to a dance studio, which might explain the wait time and the restaurant is small inside, so I can understand why the wait was longer than expected. As soon as we sat down our server John took our drink order. He suggested if we were going to order wings to order that first because it takes longer to cook. He was so attentive and friendly. We never had to ask for extra napkins nor water or soda refill. He was constantly replenishing our drinks and making sure we had clean napkins. We started with the Sicilian salad and this was delicious. I would come back just for this salad! The wings came out right after and the flavor with the grilled onions on top was so good. We ordered the fresh tomato and basil pizza. Instead of having the traditional pizza sauce, the mozzarella cheese was the base. It was so cheesy!! The pizza took a little long to come out and the manager came to our table and apologized for the wait and even gave us a free dessert for our next visit. This was so thoughtful! It may be ironic how Sicilian Oven does not offer Sicilian style pizza, so that may be a little disappointing BUT it is a solid pizza local chain nevertheless! On the first time we went there, we came for lunch and we pleased with what's offered for lunch (few dollars off their pizzas and apps, drink deals too). Not a bad time! We came back for my birthday, in which they were very accommodating and attentive to. Special shout out to our server Bee! My family enjoyed it and because it was a larger group, I got to try more pizzas! So here are the some highlights I liked that would keep me coming back: -- my husband had a yummy cucumber drink (next time, I'll get it for myself lol) -- so far the pizzas that have been my fave are the Joey D and Corlerone -- the zannoli dessert is the best to share with a big group (I want the cannoli dip in a tub to-go haha) Another bonus is that after my birthday lunch, we walked off the carbs to shop in the plaza. We were a party of 8 on a Saturday night and were told 45 mins wait. Were called in after only 20. The waitress was taking our appetizer orders when 1 of them was delivered - YES THAT FAST! Food came out sooooo fast , Lenay our waitress was spectacular!! She took one of our appetizers which was a little cold, fixed it and removed it from our bill without even asking. The new craze in Cooper City that took years to finally open to the awaiting hungry pizza enthusiasts. There was a long werkend wait as usual but not to fear since we decided on take out last minute. The quick online ordering off the website was painless and for four humans under $80.00 was resonable for fresh gourmet Italian food. As I entered the restaurant, the sound of metal forks scratching plates and echoes of conversations by chatting patrons was evident that this was a true community eatery. The hue of blue lighting was hovering over the sea of customers throughout the restaurant and bar. The semi-open view to the kitchen was a nice touch, as patrons can view the creations platted onto the stainless steel counter and hear the chef bark out meal orders. The order was ready within forty minutes which was checked twice for accurracy and without error we headed home anticipating a feast fit for a viking lord. The meatball and ricotta pizza had a nice char undercarriage with a crispy cornicione, although more tangy sauce would boost its already elevated potential. The wood oven roasted chicken wings, nestled within a lagoon of moist onions, were large and tender with a deep outter char. The salad wedge was average, although the Italian dressing jacked it up to another level and could not stop the wife from raving about it. The eggplant parmigiana was not my thing but the others enjoyed the oddly celebrated texture. Will surely return for another round of meatball pizza and this time extra sauce. read more

We ordered takeout for Father's Day. The hostess was very nice. Unfortunately, the Eggplant Reggiano was mediocre and my wife couldn't eat the Noodless Lasagna, which had an after taste. The dishes looked good as you can tell from the images. I'm thinking instead of cooking with EVO, some sort of seed oil might've been used, like Canola. Let me begin by saying that my husband and I (and usually our son) have been going to this location on a weekly basis almost since they opened. We always sit at the bar and Stephanie and/or Sean serve us, and they are wonderful! I've brought friends there and have always had a positive experience, which is why a friend and I went there this evening. Unfortunately, it was probably the last time I will step foot in this place. The service was the worst I've ever experienced there ... or anywhere, for that matter. We were greeted by Reese (sp?), who has served my husband and I before, and he gave us waters. That was it for quite a while - people came in after us and not only got their drinks but ordered and received their food. So, I asked Reese if we could order drinks and Nicole took our order. We got our drinks and again, it was a waiting game. No one came by to ask us for a food order, and we finally asked if we could order some food. We did after I asked what a Sicilian ham and cheese was after noticing it on the happy hour menu and I ordered it. My friend asked if she could have a "fughedaboutit" sandwich lightly toasted and, after being assured she could, ordered that. The sandwich came with a half-slice of eggplant and the bread was slightly burnt at the edges, plus my sandwich was not priced at the happy hour price, but at the full price because they gave me the "bigger portion." Who asked for that? So, Nicole informed my friend that the bread is baked in the morning and reheated for her sandwich, which is why it was a bit dark. She noticed this, but still served it. Why? She then offered my friend a replacement sandwich or a dessert, so she took the dessert. It took a crazy long time to get that, for some reason. After feeling like the red-headed stepchildren throughout the evening, we asked for separate checks. My friend paid with cash and I paid using the QR code on the check, like I have done for over the past year plus, leaving a cash tip. As we were chatting in the parking lot, we were approached by someone who we were advised was one of the managers, asking if we paid. My friend said she left cash and I told her I paid as I always do, using the QR code. She asked if I had a receipt, and I showed her my bank app that showed a pending payment in the correct amount. She asked why it showed a payment date of 12/25 - how the heck do I know?! But, she accepted it and went back inside. I then noticed I received a receipt through my Google account and walked inside to show her. She acknowledged that payment just popped up in their system. So, here I am, a regular and a senior citizen - a card I don't like to use at all - getting flagged down in the parking lot and questioned about whether we paid. After the service we received, they should pay us! I am beyond upset - I am disappointed that we were treated like second-class citizens throughout our time there. I am disappointed in the food, and I am disappointed that a regular customer was treated like a criminal. And my husband is pissed because he loved the whoke wheat pizza, and totally understands how I feel. How do you recover from that? read more

Came here for a Christmas party, it was my first time and we had several items passed along the table. Let me start with the salad, it was so delicious I've been thinking about it ever since! They had crostini's which were great just perfectly garlicky with olive oil. Everyone raved about the grilled chicken wings with I didn't Tri because I was pretty full but they looked great with sautéed onions on them. We also had penne alavodka and pizza. So bummed. I went to the Sicilian Oven in Plantation and absolutely loved it. Tried Cooper City and it was not great. Take a look at the photo. I ordered a white pie (Bianco) with pepperoni. There's not supposed to be tomato on the white pie. My son is allergic to it, which is why I ordered it. It came and it's clear that they took the cheese off of another pie which already had tomato on it, added ricotta and mozzarella and sent it. I expected a fresh white pie and instead got a rehashed pre baked pie shell with tomato. Took a few bites and chucked it. So bummed. read more

The first time we had food from here, we did takeout and ordered online which was an easy process PLUS we got a 5% discount for doing that. Takeout experience was "ok". You could feel that the pizza was not so hot when we picked it up and was even cooler on the 5 min drive home. We told ourselves that we had to give it another try and dine in to get a better experience and glad we did. This time we dined in and did have a much better experience. Melissa was our server and was excellent! She was constantly coming by our table making sure we didn't need anything and refilling our drinks. It was much appreciated. We ordered a large Sicilian Salad which Melissa recommended (it was really good), Crostinis, large Joey D pizza (which had sliced meatballs), large Boss pizza (which is their version of a Margherita pizza). My husband, toddler and I met my parents here for a late lunch early dinner after we left the nearby indoor kids play gym. My toddler knocked out in the stroller and we asked for a table in the back. We sat at a booth table and we were able to keep the stroller out of the way. The service was fast! Almost too fast. We started off with the garlic bread which we were expecting to be bigger but it was as still delicious. We decided we would share a pizza and the eggplant parmigiana. Neither one disappointed! My dad kept raving about how good the eggplant was. Best that he has ever had! It was thin layers and it almost looked like a pastry. The presentation and taste were perfect.
