We had an unexpectedly amazing time! Started off with drinks at the bar (Happy Hour every day till 6:30)! What a deal. Bartenders are friendly and efficient! We then sat at the table for dinner. The Chicken Parm was the best I ever had! Hubby ordered the Veal Picatta. Was good, but I prefer my Chicken. Friends ordered the steak dish and a lasagna. Not one bite was left on the plate. For dessert we shared a chocolate lava cake with a scoop of gelato. Everything was yummy. The atmosphere is spacious and clean. Our server, Andrea, was very efficient and helpful. We requested a booth and hostess sat us as far away from the other patrons of the restaurant, to the point we felt like it was a closed section; also we enjoyed watching the bartenders scoop ice with rocks glasses and touch our garnishes with bare hands but that's not the reason behind this review. 20 mins waitress eventually came to our table (we were only the 6th top in the restaurant) No greeting, no introduction, "do you want something from the bar" is what we received. "Merlot & Negroni Blanco please and a glass of water" 10 minutes later (as I was ready to stand up and go to the service bar and get our drinks myself) she was I'll get that. "Do you want to order food" - we'd like the bruschetta (that was delivered in 3 minutes and it was delightful. "Do you want more food" (hope you see where we felt like we were not wanted" He'll have the Chicken Valdastana & I'll have the Chicken Francese" ...:still waiting on the water & the standard bread service.... Dinner arrives and it's delightful. Placed plates next to the other dirty plates at the end of the table and by others I mean the bruschetta from earlier. Restaurant still only has 6 tops... Asked for a double espresso with no sugar and she just gave me a dead stare as if there was a glitch in the matrix. Overall food was delicious but service needs work. read more

Had an amazing brunch at Cucina Modena in Miramar parkway. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was amazing, he really took good care of us, not to mention he made the best drinks, we had a lemon drop and a strawberry martini, incredible! We ordered the CM pizza which was delicious. Really good vibe with chill background music, they offer indoor and outdoor seating. Overall the staff is very friendly, the food is good and the drinks are really good. Be sure to check them out. read more

Located in the new plaza right on Miramar Pkwy this is a lovely addition to the Miramar community. There's a vast amount of parking, the service was great, and the restaurant is spacious and beautiful. The restaurant is beautiful with an inside outside bar, tall ceilings, and there's a Dj that plays live on the weekends. They take reservations but because the restaurant is fairly new, we walked right in. However, I don't expect that once people start seeing more of it in the upcoming months. My coworkers and I arrived for a management event and they were able to accommodate all 12 of us. Our server was awesome- attentive, patient, passed by regularly, and brought out all our food in a timely manner. The food was delicious- everyone enjoyed their dishes and stayed the would return. I had the shrimp pesto pasta and it was delicious! (5/5). The seasoned bread was FANTASTIC! Other dishes like the lasagna, calamari, shrimp Alfredo, cheese sticks, crab stuffed ravioli, tiramisu, and cannolis were all delicious and delicately made. This feels like you're out of the suburbs and having a night out in coral gables. WHICH I LOVE. The pizza is the move, it's crisp and very good. I had the wine but the cocktails look great. The bar is hard to find a spot at due to popularity, however, there's lots of seating in the dining room. Really fun place for a date night or drinks with the girls. Miramar needs more of this. I really wanted to like this place! The good reviews convinced our party of 6. We were sat quickly on a Sunday night. My husband ordered the mozzarella sticks and he said it was horrible. They tasted like a fast food option. The red sauce was sweet and flavorless.I ordered the chicken parm and my husband ordered the veal parm. Both brought a small bowl of pasta. Both proteins were very bland and the red sauce was sweet and bland. The service was lacking. The older gentleman was slow, we had to ask for drink refills. They brought the pizza that the other couple had ordered, long after our pasta meals. The tap water had a weird taste also. So overall, this was a one and done. The inside is really pretty, the music was a bit loud and the food not that good. read more

Hubby is out of town but didn't want another sub sandwich. So I stopped in on a Saturday appx 7pm. Sat at the bar. Very welcoming, the SoFl weather in late October is the best! Their open air bar is so refreshing. I had the chicken valdastana. The Marsala sauce was so delicious. Big plumb mushrooms and so smooth. I'm in heaven. The rosemary potatoes with onions were excellent. I cannot recommend this place any more. Now on to the desert. read more

Really great atmosphere and space. Staff seems a bit new but they also seem to generally care. I showed up right as they opened and sat outside at the bar, even though it was hot they have a fan and cooling system that made it downright enjoyable. I didn't take pictures of our food because everybody else has on this site. What I wanted to talk about is the service. In the last few years, service EVERYWHERE has been below par. And it's almost normal to have bad service. But NOT here. Everyone was super attentive and never once did my water glass go empty. Sophia, Evelyna and Jonathan were taking care of our tables as well as the two managers in charge (a man and a lady). They were all so nice and just an absolute delight. My family and I decided to try a new Italian restaurant in the area. I will say the inside is beautifully decorated, in an Italian them but the loud music was all Spanish. I'm American Italian and I was kind of expecting more of an Italian atmosphere than Latin. Please don't take offense this is just my opinion. Our waiter was nice, his service was ok. I do love how they have on the menu gravy and not sauce, that's how we say it in my family!! We started off with appetizers of calamari, arancini, focaccia bread & Pina Colada's. I am unable to tell you about the arancini because we never received them. They did take it off the receipt. The appetizers were good. Ordered the chicken Parm, lasagna & baked ziti, all good as well. I do feel the gravy is missing something or that's just because I'm Italian and very picky about the pasta I eat. Terrible Service. My husband pulled out a whole piece of hair from his mouth that was in the Mediterranean seafood bowl he ordered, and nothing was done to rectify the situation. We came for his father birthday and even ordered dessert so they could sing happy birthday for him. You think they would at least comp the little chocolate muffin they brought out but no. Not even that. Absolutely nothing but remake the dish. At that point he had lost his appetite and just took the rest of the food home. The server went even as far as trying to suggest it might've been one of our hairs. He's lucky he even got a tip for a remark like that. I work in hospitality and Ive never experienced service this poor. I get better service at Applebee's. I wish I had a picture to share but they removed the plate so fast. read more
