Chicken piccata, kids Alfredo and bread

Ordered take out over the weekend. I was impressed by the flavor of food, the chicken was fresh, and the bread was amazing! I look forward to returning!

If you are looking for tradition Italian food in Pembroke Pines, definitely check out Bru-sket-ta. It's a small quaint restaurant with a traditional Italian aesthetic. When we walked in and seated, we greeted by the staff which were very friendly and helpful. We were told about their lunch special which had huge portions and great flavor. We ordered their calzone and Stromboli that you can stuff with whatever toppings and fillings you like. Their meatball appetizer was very good! 4 huge meatballs covered in tasty Italian red sauce. I can't wait to come back to try more of what Bru-sket-ta has to offer.

Delicious! Such a cozy and welcoming spot. From the moment we walked in the door and the host greeted us, we felt at home. We started with an app (calamari) which was crisp and light and tasty then moved on to pasta (bolognese for me, veal ravioli for my fiance) accompanied by a nice cabernet and we left with full bellies and happy hearts, planning to come back again soon! A lovely find for our weekend staycation.

This restaurant is the definition of a hidden gem! Despite being tucked away in a dormant plaza, every time I've come here it's full of people, and I can clearly see why. The service is great, and I love the comfortable atmosphere and decor that whisks you away to the Amalfi coast. The food is outstanding. The Greek salad (not pictured) is one of the best I've ever had. One of the past few times I came here I had a stuffed ciabatta bread which I am begging for them to put it permanently on the menu because oh my goodness it was delicious. And finally, the entree that I am practically married to is the penne a la vodka. This has to be the best vodka pasta I've ever had, because the crispy prosciutto pieces add such a unique touch. Not to mention the sauce is incredibly creamy unlike any other. Highly recommend!

I can't rave about this place enough. The atmosphere is so homey and I love coming in to support their business. That being said, it's best to reserve to guarantee seating. We walked in and only had a 10 minute wait. The food is authentic. They make me feel like I'm back in Italy.

Had an absolutely fantastic dinner here. I had an intense craving for chicken parm ( as one does) and immediately began to search for a place in the area that had it. When we walked in the staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. The complimentary bread was delicious especially with their homemade butters. The ceasar salad was also really great and had a nice garlicky flavor. The star of the show was hands down the chicken parm. The chicken itself was huge and flavorful and the cream pasta I chose to go with it was equally delicious. The person I was eating with said the calzone was also really good and it was a good portion for the price. Definitely a place worth trying if you're in the area.

A big thank you for Andrea B. recommending this restaurant! I kept meaning to come here but just never did for no particular reason. Well, we went today. It is just delicious. I believe the owner was our server and he is so courteous. He was helpful with suggestions. This restaurant is not too big and got pretty crowded when we left. The restaurant is immaculate. It has a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Ok, onto the food! I ordered the baked ziti. I actually looked up reviews before I came here and saw none. I couldn't believe it! How could no one critique this out of 400 reviews? I don't understand. LOL Anyway, I asked him to please add extra sauce and he said he would. They make their own pomodoro sauce. Yum! My baked ziti was delicious and plentiful. The cheese was so delicious. Really good. I sat across the table from Andrea and could smell her minestrone soup. It smelled really good. Mom ordered the pizza and I had a couple slices. The pizza is very, very good but the crust was burnt. I also did not love the bread. It is ok, not bad or anything just kind of plain. What did make it more exciting was some sort of herb butter. The butter was great. I will definitely come back and probably order the lasagna next time because that is homemade and sounds like a winner from the reviews.

If you want some Italian food and a quaint mom and pop shop, come by here. The service is great and the food is always really good. I've come twice and both didn't disappoint. It's a small place and it's decorated really nicely. I had the chicken Milanese and it was delicious, thin, and cooked to perfection. My daughter ordered a kids pizza and they put a happy face on it. She loved it so much and enjoyed eating it. For dessert we had this chocolate bomb that had chocolate and vanilla ice cream inside with almonds and a cherry in the middle. Delicious. Can't wait to eat here again.

This was a very nice place to have lunch. I would like to come back tomorrow. Haha We went to Brusketta for lunch today and it was my first time here. I was impressed with the variety of items on the lunch menu. I ordered off the regular menu and lived my pizza. The cheese had a creamy flavor to it. It was really good. I tried the baked ziti and liked that too. I really enjoy paninis and that looked really good. The food here is high quality and the prices are not out of control. They have been here at least 10 years and I can see why. They are right near Flamingo and Taft.

Prosciutto e Funghi was flavorful and crispy!

Great food and friendly service! I visited for the first time with some friends and loved everything about this restaurant. Will be going today for lunch with another friend, and have recommended it to everyone I know. More than happy to drive up from Miami for the most delicious calamari, pizza and tiramisu I've had in South Florida!

Brusketta is a welcoming spot filled with traditional Italian comfort. I grew up with a "Sunday pasta at Nonna's" family. Her cooking and flavors are what I miss the most from home. Ever since, I've been seeking for her touch in every Italian restaurant I visit. Brusketta came pretty close to that homey feel. First of all, the restaurant is small and cozy, absolutely charming! The service is also incredibly familial, everyone was so kind and attentive to my party of two. The food is, of course, the star of the show. To start we ordered the focaccia, Il Pomodorini Salad, and the best meatballs I've had in South Florida. One bite took me all the way to my Nonna's kitchen. For starters we ordered the special breakfast pizza, and I just had to try the cannelloni, an Italian staple that is often undermined and not served in most restaurants. Again, two huge hits. For dessert we ordered the pistacho cake and wow... simply no words. I will definitely recommend and come back to this restaurant

They brought three, what they call focaccia, but are actually Pizza. Do you think three small pizzas can feed 35 people? Then they brought four salads, which are individual sizes, maybe enough for two people. We didn't get any, there wasn't enough. The calamari was definitely from a frozen bag. If I'm wrong, then they need a new chef. It was cheap and fishy. And we had to order an extra one of those too because they brought two for a table of 35. It took a long time to receive sodas or coffees. Three of us had wine, it came immediately. Thank God. Lunch was a choice of three dishes, and it took about an hour from ordering them to receiving them. The rigatoni with meatballs: I'm almost speechless over the horrifically disgusting, rubbery, loaded with filler, mealy consistency of the meatballs. They were embarrassing. The gnocchi were mushy, over boiled. I think they should sauté them instead of boiling them. Just my opinion. I think the chicken Parm was decent, didn't see people complaining about it. But I didn't have it. Dessert and coffee, then took another interminably long period of time. And the reason I mention this is because there was a party coming in after us. And they couldn't get in, they all had to wait outside in the heat, and all because the service was beyond, ridiculously slow. So I felt badly for them. I do have to say, however, on a good note that the servers were very pleasant, all of them. Which was much appreciated in the midst of the general debacle that this memorial lunch was. In retrospect, It is possible that not enough food was ordered by the host, however, the restaurant in knowing that they were serving 35 people should have informed my mother-in-law that what she ordered wasn't enough food.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.
