I've been wanting to try their pizza and finally got the chance. We ordered the XL Margherita Pizza, a Personal Pizza - Cheese and Dozen Garlic Rolls. There was a little wait beyond the time we were quoted but they explained that the pizzaiolo started making a large pizza when he realized we ordered XL and had to remake it. There was a party of 3 and a solo diner dining in with a couple of people walking in for take out orders. While I was waiting, the party of 3 each got a small plate of garlic rolls and a small salad which looked appetizing. Our order was completed and was brought out to us with an apology for the delay. It smelled so good in the car on the way home! The XL Margherita Pizza box was so large, I had to tilt it a little just to get it in the front seat of my car. In hindsight I should have put it in the back of my SUV. When I opened the box at home, the cheese had run a little to one side. No fault of the restaurant. The crust on the Margherita Pizza was amazing! You could see the layers when you bit into it. It was very crispy. The garlic rolls were garlicky (in a good way) but a little dry. I'm not sure if they can make them saucy but will ask the next time we place an order. My husband had some of the Personal Pizza which, by the way, was almost the size of a small pizza! He said it was also very good. I'm glad we tried this and will definitely be ordering from here again.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! Hands down, one of the best Italian spots I've visited locally. We ended up at Firefly when our usual Italian restaurant was closed, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, and we loved being able to pick our own table. The atmosphere is cozy and has that authentic homestyle Italian feel. We had the lasagna and chicken marsala, both of which were amazing. The meals came with freshly baked bread (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside with delicious garlic butter) and a choice of soup or salad -- the minestrone was packed with flavor! You can really taste that everything is made from scratch, and the portions are generous. If you're craving classic Italian food that's comforting and delicious, definitely give Firefly a try. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Excellent restaurant in Cooper City. Came based on a Facebook post and let me tell you it was great. The meal portions are huge, the garlic rolls are delicious, the house salad yumm and the Chicken Parmigiana, Eggplant Parmigiana and Eggplant Rotellini were are delicious. A must try. Can't wait to try their subs soon

Chicken bacon ranch. Meatiest tastiest cheeziest pizza ever!!!

The best! Looking at locally owned mom and pop places and picked this one based on great reviews. We ordered the medium chicken bacon ranch well done. I'm not kidding this pizza was a melting pot in your mouth. It reminded me of my favorite, richest, loaded Alfredo. We are from Wisconsin- home of Cheese. Best freshest pizza ever!! And our server was amazing too!!

Amazing food and nice service ! The restaurant is clean and I loved their chicken tandoori pizza. It is different pizza than the usual but I enjoyed it! Their cheese and pepperoni are also good quality so I will be coming back!

We are so happy to have picked this spot for dinner tonight. My son really wanted spaghetti so I started to look at Italian spots near our house. We noticed Firefly opened recently and decided to give it a try. Everything was delicious!!!! My son loved the spaghetti so much. He asked me to bring him 100 more times. We also tried the meatballs... outstanding flavor!!! My husband ordered the chicken wings, a slice of cheese pizza and Alfredo pasta. I tried a bit of it all as well. Everything had amazing taste. We were all so happy with our experience. Plus delicious red wine. Highly recommend adding this to your Italian dinner rotations!! Thanks for a great dinner, friendly service, and we will be back!

This place has not too many tables so it's best to call if you're really set on going a certain time and day. The inside is cutely decorated. They provided some garlic bread for free. The bread was light and good and the garlic flavor was very mild (which I prefer!) We also got the meatballs as an appetizer which were very good as well. We got the eggplant parm, lasagna, vodka pasta, and the cannelloni. The lasagna was GREAT. The pastas all had a good flavor and portion as well. Inside while we were eating, lots of people came in for takeout or to dine in and it seemed like the employees knew everyone. I thought it was nice that they value their returning customers so much. The portions were a good size, and we took home leftovers. The desserts were also to die for. I had a hazelnut cake that was light and delicious, and my girlfriends had the tiramisu. Nothing was left. Plates were cleaned! Overall, it's the kind of place you're so so happy to have nearby in Pembroke Pines. Great food, warm atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares. I'll definitely be going back.

Several of my friends had the pizza and it looked wonderful. It was thin, crispy with good quality toppings. I will definitely have to come back for pizza. The Rigatoni Bolognese was plentiful. It arrived in a large shallow bowl with a sprig of fresh basil on top. At first I liked it until I tasted how much pancetta was in the dish. It tasted like bacon not ground beef. They brought three, what they call focaccia, but are actually Pizza. Do you think three small pizzas can feed 35 people? Then they brought four salads, which are individual sizes, maybe enough for two people. We didn't get any, there wasn't enough. The calamari was definitely from a frozen bag. If I'm wrong, then they need a new chef. It was cheap and fishy. And we had to order an extra one of those too because they brought two for a table of 35. It took a long time to receive sodas or coffees. Three of us had wine, it came immediately. Thank God. Lunch was a choice of three dishes, and it took about an hour from ordering them to receiving them. The rigatoni with meatballs: I'm almost speechless over the horrifically disgusting, rubbery, loaded with filler, mealy consistency of the meatballs. They were embarrassing. The gnocchi were mushy, over boiled. I think they should sauté them instead of boiling them. Just my opinion. I think the chicken Parm was decent, didn't see people complaining about it. But I didn't have it. Dessert and coffee, then took another interminably long period of time. And the reason I mention this is because there was a party coming in after us. And they couldn't get in, they all had to wait outside in the heat, and all because the service was beyond, ridiculously slow. So I felt badly for them. I do have to say, however, on a good note that the servers were very pleasant, all of them. Which was much appreciated in the midst of the general debacle that this memorial lunch was. In retrospect, It is possible that not enough food was ordered by the host, however, the restaurant in knowing that they were serving 35 people should have informed my mother-in-law that what she ordered wasn't enough food.

The garlic rolls were insane... honestly some of the best I've ever had. We shared a house salad, and it was huge--definitely big enough to split. I'm pretty picky about marinara sauce (and I'm Italian, so I hold places to a higher standard), but everything was completely on point. The flavors, the sauce, the portion--just really well done. What made the experience even better was the owner coming over to talk to us. She shared details about the food and the restaurant, which made it feel really personal and welcoming. They also host special wine tastings at the end of the month with a curated menu, which I definitely want to come back for. We didn't try the pizza this time, but I already know I'll be back.
