Really good Italian food. Minus one star only because I'm not a fan of cheese. There's cheese on everything.

I got a couple pizzas, wings and mozzarella stix from here for takeout on the advise of a friend and it did not disappoint. Pizza was excellent, wings were awesome. That being said, the first time the wife and I went there, we had a horrible experience and left due to the poor service and extremely rude waitstaff. I'm sure this is not indicative of the general service but when we went, it was not busy or crowded at all. The wife had just got out of the hospital after surgery and was looking for something lighter but was made to feel quite embarrassed for even asking questions about the menu. We ended up leaving right after that and did not return until today. Because of this earlier we are a little skittish about dining in :/ read more

This restaurant was popping on a late Thursday evening. I ordered the Stuffed Shells, food was exceptionally delicious! Didn't take long to get my meal and the restaurant was clean. I will go back again and recommend this place to others! read more

Third time I've been here though out several years. The first two times were great. The last time was meh. The great breadsticks I remembered tasted dry and like they were made from frozen dough. When I complained the waitress shrugged and walked away. The pizza was good, but not great. And I still walked out with a $100 bill. It's alright. read more

We've been going to Cugino's for years and I've never heard a bad thing about anything on the menu. I would try more menu selections but the pizza and calzone's are so darn good I never get anything else! I can honestly say I'm in LOVE with the spinach calzone and it's so big I can take 1/2 to go and eat the next day. Love Cugino's!! read more

Whenever I want Italian food I head to Cuginos. They have delicious pizza, salads, and pasta with huge portions. I always bring home leftovers. The pasta Giovanni is my favorite entree and I also love the homemade vodka sauce. The only downside is the restaurant can be very loud at times and hard to hold a conversation at times. Overall it's probably the best restaurant in grand ledge. read more

A very nice environment with dining room, sports bar area and a patio. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the Fettuccini Florentine and also Spicy Penne with chicken, both were delicious. The meals are substantial and come with soup or salad and bread. There was enough to take home and have another meal. Prices aren't too bad either. We will definitely return on a weeknight, since it was a Friday night the place was packed and a little loud. Can't go wrong with anything here. Staff is great. Service is always quick, even when it's packed. The breaded ravioli are fantastic. Pizza and calzones are killer. You get a lot of food, way too much for one meal. We are always taking home leftovers. Worth a drive to try them out. read more

Amazing staff!!!! I didn't really get a chance to try my food, but that wasn't because of the staff.. My daughter became very ill and began vomiting shortly after we ordered our food. I couldn't get her to the bathroom in time... She puked as I was trying to get her to the restroom =(. All of the staff were AMAZING! They were so kind to me, my daughter and my family. They said it wasn't a big deal at all, helped clean her up, brought her a bucket, water, etc. They continued to check on us and bring us anything we needed. They let us sit with her around a corner because she still couldn't make it to the restroom. I have never experienced kindness like this. Thank you for helping us and making my daughter feel very comfortable after a very embarrassing and messy experience! I believe the owner was there as well and he was very kind while cleaning up the huge mess! You all are amazing, I can't thank you enough. read more

I really like the pizza, my wife really likes the pasta. The restaurant is homey and very local feeling. Wait staff is high school students. Not all of the food is great, but we like going there with out of towners. read more

The food is tasty, the portion sizes are humongous, the staff is friendly and they make a specialty drink called a Hooker that is potent and good. I have food allergies and they accommodate my needs without a problem. You can make reservations and they also have call ahead. They're dessert menu is thin but they do have good Tiramisu. They have a side room that has a sports bar atmosphere and they also have a traditional dinning room that is quieter with back ground music playing. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Extremely generous portions make for a tremendous value. I'm a big eater, and after eating my fill, I had enough for two lunches, or another giant dinner. The pizza and lasagna are sensational and very reasonably priced. Another member in my party got the chicken parm and that was okay but the others stole the show. Started with an antipasto salad, and having more lettuce would have been good since there was a lot of meat and cheese slices at the bottom. If your looking for pizza, LOOK NO FURTHER! The pizza is fresh with the steam of a warm meal, wafting to the roof of the restaurant, so you know it has fresh ingredients. There's so much pizza here there's pepperoni in the drinks, and marinara in the salad! This was my first time going to Cugino's. The Lasagna was very good, I got the1/2 order and the portion size was perfect for me. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. There were 6 other people with me who had all been there before. Everyone had a great experience and they were all happy with their orders. I wish we had something like this in Charlotte... Delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks. Nice restaurant with a good ambience. Appropriate for families, while still being 'nice'. Can be a long wait, so I recommend call ahead seating. You'll still have to wait a bit, but not nearly as long as you would if you walked in. Good service too! read more

I've been eating here for probably 20 years, I've always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. There is a very relaxed dining area, and a nice enclosed patio out back. There is a lot for parking northeast of the restaurant towards the river/island park. Everything comes out well, and they never disappoint. The pizza is exceptional, all 3 styles come out so well. The think crust is crispy and flavorful, the regular style is hearty and loaded with toppings, and the deepdish is cooked to perfection. I have tried the chicken Parmesan and a few other dishes from this place and they are top notch. Good carry out order times and nice atmosphere dining in. Salads and appetizers are nice additions to your meal. Full bar adds a touch of class to the place. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I order the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo which was descent but not great, the Bruchetta was just terrible, the caesar salad was fairly good and the bread sticks are not great. So, on a scale of 0 being terrible and 10 fantastic, I score Cugino's a 5. read more

While we generally found the experience decent, the problems we encountered were of; incorrect food order be delivered, very bad wine and an attitude of, 'too bad.' I believe that the staff simply dose not consider 'attention to detail' as something to work on. read more
