Yummy yum! The chicken was flavorful and very tender, which some Indian places miss, but not this one. Be aware, we got medium spice and it was perfectly spicy for me,but quite on the spicy side for medium. The malai kofta was delish, I would recommend! The paneer pakora was fine, but I would not get it again. The batter was so thick (maybe how the dish is supposed to be), but not my thing. The service was fine. Its a small place but pretty open.

Chicken Tikka Masala and rice, delish!

Insanely good! My brother and I ordered delivery in mid-October 2020 and I ordered delivery again for myself in late November 2020. Delivery seems to be via a third party app, just wanted to put that out there. Food was delish! My brother ordered Vindaloo, I ordered Tikka Masala (crazy different for me, I know). Both were hot and fresh upon delivery, chicken was quality, and portions were good. I was a little perturbed to see specks in the rice, but quickly realized they were cumin or coriander seeds, so yummy. They really added to the flavor of the rice. Definitely going to make this a regular stop in Salem.

The same food on the buffet every time we go. It seems to be declining in authentic Indian food and flavor.

Absolutely love the corma (we usually get shrimp) and garlic naan. For Indian food in Salem, this is the spot

Ask the Community - Cuisine India

Is the buffet open for dinner as well or only during lunchtime?

Yes. And my friend from Pakistan has me take him here and says it's as authentic a Punjabi meal as he has back home. The butter chicken here is amazing!

What time does the lunch buffet start?

    I believe it’s 11 AM! So good!

Can I order off the menu at lunch?

Yes it's what I did and I was able to get just what I wanted without anything I didn't.

Amazing experience all around. I accidentally made my reservation for the chef counter. I don't…read moregenerally like bar seating because I am short and the stools are often uncomfortable, but they had a nice ledge at the right height for me. It was fun watching all the variety of dishes come together. Service was great, just the right amount of attentive. Food was amazing. Everything was great, but special nod to the squid ink pasta and the tres major steak. Definitely will come back next time I'm in the area

Apparently, unlike the Napa/Sonoma area, Willamette wine country is not known for food, but after…read moresome research, we came across Cozy Taberna, which is a tapas style place in downtown Salem. We reserved on Tock, and it was mostly full on a Friday night. Drinks: lots of local beers are available, but I went with the Pineapple Express: she warned it was spicy, and it indeed was (in a really good way). All of the food is done family style: - Clams Galicia: with tomato, chorizo, bacon broth. This broth as amazing. I literally drank it with a spoon - Pan con tomate: slightly different from classic preparation - more flavorful and heavier on the toppings - Salmorejo: tomato and bread puree, Serrano, jammy egg - like a creamy gazpacho - Grilled asparagus: with whipped ricotta and a cured egg yolk - Squid ink pasta: with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, peppers, and a runny egg yolk, a bit spicy. This dish was my favorite - Honey brined pork chop with a basque piperade sauce The servers were all great about checking in. I would definitely recommend the squid ink pasta and the clams if you're in town!
