Even though our options were ssuuppeerrr limited on a Sunday, we came across this place. I got the meat combo. Ordered chicken, they gave me steak. I am very much not upset about it. Steak was so good, quesadilla was freaking awesome. Definitely get a few limes and put it over everything. The street tacos were out of This world. If I ever come back to Utah or drive through, I'd definitely stop by and get more food. My friend got a fried sushi roll. He said it was pretty good. It's been on the list. I'm glad I finally went. They have really stepped up the game compared to other "street" tacos. This is really more about what you'd think of getting at a street market, and it was all excellent. I got the Shrimp Quesadilla. This was an entire meal of goodness. The flavors were bright and the shrimp was not overcooked. The wife had the fish tacos and it was equally good. They have beer. There's not much more I could ask. The Sinaloan style sushi is fine for the california roll crowd, but that's not me. However, if it brings in people and keeps them going, it's great. read more

Great flavor, steep prices for the food/style. The carne asada is great (depending on the visit). First time it was hot and cooked medium, the second time it was warm and cooked well done. The beans are fantastic, not your normal frilloles, "pork" beans (not what you think, more flavor and slight spice. Not American pork beans). The chips are good, house made. First visit last week I had the quesadilla with 2 taco combo and it was $13, which isn't too bad, but they charged for lettuce and then plus a tip, it makes for kinda a steep priced meal when you consider you order at a counter and are served in a basket. I normally enjoy coming here but today the waitress with glasses was super rude. My boyfriend and I ordered our food and we kept seeing people come in to order after us, and would get their food before us until I got up and asked what was going on. Once we asked is when I saw them put my mulitas on the grill. And my boyfriend's aguachiles still weren't ready. They ended up making my mulitas in a rush and my cheese wasn't melted and I waited for a bit and it still wouldn't melt, so when I told the waitress, she got upset but still ended up remaking them. We decided to give it a try because we had a coupon and had never been there before. After trying some quesadillas and street tacos, we wondered why in the world we hadn't tried them. The steak was incredibly flavorful and didn't have any gristle or fat (both downfalls of far too many otherwise good Mexican restaurants). Wow. I lived in Culiacán, Sinaloa for 2 years, and let me just tell you, this place brings me back. It's delicious, hands down. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I recommend the sushi, it's a unique take on a Japanese dish. There's only visual similarity, the taste is unique. Service was great and they had it out quickly, even though they made everything to order. The salsas were spicy, fresh, and there was as much guacamole as you wanted.
