Jurassic Taco left me feeling like this adventure belonged in the "extinct" category. The restaurant itself was clean, but the atmosphere wasn't very inviting. When we walked in, there was no one at the counter to greet us. Several employees looked over from the back, but no one acknowledged us or came forward to help. First impressions matter, and this one fell flat. The tacos were just okay, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. The "street tacos" especially were disappointing. They consisted of nothing more than two tortillas and meat. If you want onions, cilantro, or salsa, you have to get them yourself from the condiment station. At around $3 per taco, I shouldn't feel like I'm assembling my own meal. The one bright spot was the Utah Queso--it was flavorful and easily the best thing we ordered. Unfortunately, it was served with chips that were embarrassingly stale. We asked for fresh chips, and while the replacement basket was slightly better, they were still stale. It's hard to enjoy a great queso when the chips don't do it justice. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the lack of customer service, overpriced and underwhelming tacos, and stale chips, Jurassic Taco didn't live up to the hype. I've been here a couple of times and have appreciated the food. Unfortunately this will be my last time as a family arrived and decided to bring their dog inside. The staff ignored the issue as they were Hispanic. I cannot speak for what the health code is in the area, but other patrons seemed visibly annoyed also. read more

Food is quite good, they have big portions that fill you up. I prefer the carne asada to the Al pastor - meat was a little dry. The Jurassic taco was good (not gluten free) and nice you can add your own sauce and toppings. Food came out quickly and service was good. read more

So we thought we'd give it a try neighborhood dressing tacos does have one thing really large tacos however at $25 for two tacos seem to little pricey. The meat flavor was good and the customer service they're friendly. The condiment salsa bar was kind of bland, if not uninteresting. If you want to try, this place would suggest getting the small tacos. A big ones are too, and we Lee and kind of awkward to eat. I really want to leave a five star review but I keep feeling that something is missing. Don't get me wrong, it's freaking delicious but I just want more from it and I can't figure it out. It may be an ingredient ratio thing...who knows. I've tried the burrosaurio and a couple variations of the street taco and have been very satisfied. The meats were good quality and everything very fresh! I do have to say that their red salsa is super duper spicy. I'm willing to give Jurassic Tacos another try though. The atmosphere here is great. Nice to sit down and get away at clean places like this. The service is above average, that seems normal for this spot. My downside is just the price. It seems to much for me to want to return often. I did enjoy the tacos, I guess that is the main thing. Once again, i think i did not get enough for the price that I paid, but oh well. read more

This location recently opened up and I have been wanting to give it a try. I have been to a couple events that they've catered, but I've never been to any of their permanent locations. One thing I love is the high quality of meats that are offered at Jurassic Street Tacos. You can get the classic street taco, but you can also dress it up with something a little more fancy like sirloin or picanha. The green salsa is delicious and their red salsa has a serious kick but maintains a great flavor. I will be visiting more often to try all the different types of tacos they offer! read more

This place is so good. We come pretty often and never had a bad experience. The food is awesome and it's never too busy.

I've seen a number of these around and couldn't figure if they were a chain or some new stab at a fast food taco place or what, exactly, and it turns out they're a local, mainly to Utah County, sort of mini chain. Fine, all well and good, but what's the deal with the dinos? So I go inside and take a look at the menu (where is the desserts, dammit?) and they're going with the theme of street tacos and also larger items named after extinct creatures and ummmm ok. Weird, but sure, I guess. I see the thing for 4 street tacos and chips and a drink and yep, I'm right there. I fill up the cup and peruse the salsa mini-bar thing and see ranch? BBQ sauce? There was another one also that I forget now, but I went with the house hot sauce and the spicy BBQ (wtf, when in Rome) and both, I am happy to say, were excellent. The BBQ sauce, in particular, was a surprise, both in a Mexi-style place and because it was better than probably 90% of the BBQ places I've been to and I'm not even kidding slightly. Anyway, I get the street tacos and think they're tiny and wish I would've added another so I could have tried all the meats and had I know they were that dinky I would have, but anyway, I found myself wishing for both some kind of cheese to balance it and/or some refrieds, but nope, just mounts of meat on doubled-up tiny corn tortillas. At this point, I'm thinking, kinda pricey for just that, but open mind, open mouth and away we go. The Carne Asada was solid. I had a mouth with and without the sauce. Definitely needs sauce, actually nearly all of them do as they were a bit on the dry side. Quite good, if I do say so myself, and I do. Next was the Chorizo. More or less the same story as the Carne Asada. Quite good as well, also oddly dry. That left the Al Pastor and the Pulled Pork, which they decided to call pulled pork and not Carnitas. I soon understood why as it is definitely more towards pulled pork. It also came dressed with BBQ sauce, the only meat to do that and I understood why immediately. Also dry. Also very tasty. That left the Al Pastor, which I'm pretty fussy about. Imagine my surprise when this one wasn't super-dry (bonus), but also had an outstanding pork to pineapple ratio AND was among the best Al Pastor tacos I've had. Ever. So, despite a lot of little bits and pieces that could be improved, this left enough of a positive impression on me that I intend on going through the entire menu (not all in one sitting). Definitely a 4 going on 5 and Coke Zero in the fountain as well. Still wish there was either cheese or refrieds available and after stuffing all that meat in my mouth, I was really sincerely wishing for a dessert, maybe a nice flan or something. we purchased a gift card form the Spanish fork store, and they would not honor it despite the fact that printing on the back of the card said that it was valid at their store. I won't ever buy another taco from them theyre too expensive for what they are anyway. read more
