WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would.Me and my family came here while on vacation in Fredericksburg. The place seemed to have a fun and lively atmosphere, but the was its only saving grace. When our server came out he seemed to be under some kind of influence. He informed us he was new so we gave him the benefit of the doubt. My dad jokingly said we were gonna leave on that matter and I wish we would have. For starters, our tea came out sour and UNDRINKABLE. We had to send them back in that account. Additionally, when we asked for lemon for our drinks, the server brought out ONE lemon in his hand. No bowl, not in the glass, just carrying it. Our food came out staggered and we had to constantly remind them of our order. The food itself was mediocre at best and we were heavily disappointed. !!! For the cherry on top, when our waiter was bringing out my sisters plate he ATE A FRY directly off the plate RIGHT in front of us. !!! At this point we were irritated and ready to leave. We ask for the check and were overcharged for 2 extra drinks. We made the server correct the order and comp the fries he ate. While waiting for the check, I went to go have a talk with the manger (something we NEVER do). The manager was stunned, but unapologetic. This city has about 4 bars, we went to two. This place was my favorite of the two! The drinks were reasonably priced and strong. The dance floor was open for dancing and the playlist was y2k pop music mixed behind rave music. If I come back to this city, I will definitely come back! read more

Kitchen closed at 10pm without notice. We told the server we would order more food later. We chose here to watch the Spurs playoff game. 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter then they cut the sound to play music when the few people in the bar were watching the game. Customer service sucks. read more

Stopped here on a whim on a visit to Fredericksburg. It was the end of the night and most of my group called it a night after a whole day of eating and drinking our way through this town. There was a few of us that was still enjoying the night and stopped here for a night cap. The first thing that stood out to me was the flags outside. They have the American, Texas, German and Mexican flag waving out front. That's quite the diverse mix of cultures and cuisines this place represents. We were here just to have a drink. You have your basic drinks here, but what they are known for is their large amount of draft beers on tap. I opted for a snake bite which is Guinness and cider neatly presented in a large glass. It's a smooth drink that I like to get every so often. What I didn't like was the temp on the drink. It was only just slightly cold so I had to drink it quick. 2.5 stars but rounding down. Service was fine, and they had some TV's going with sports on, ambiance was fine. Fried pickles were very lacking. Sweet tea was one of the worst i've tasted in texas. Wings were fine but the buffalo sauce was just not good at all and ruined them (just use franks red hot out of the bottle, would be such a huge upgrade y'all). The quesadilla was decent though, and so were the potato skins! But yeah just an extremely disappointing meal. And $95 (including tip) for 4 appetizers and 3 soft drinks is on the higher end for food that was straight up not good...not like they should be charging "big city" prices here. We stopped by Cultures primarily to watch UFC fights. Unfortunately, they weren't showing them here. I will say, the staff was sooo kind to flip through channels looking for the fights. We were so appreciative of that. Typical bad ambiance, loud and busy! They have indoor and outdoor seating! We decided to stay for a drink. We both ordered Micheladas. They are pretty big and garnished with celery, a small shrimp and tajin rim. We were a little hungry so we opted for a few appetizers to share. You usually can't expect much when it comes to "pub"/bar food. Definitely nothing impressive from what we ordered; avocado rolls, fried pickles and a cup of soup (potato). The food highlight for me though was definitely the fried pickles! I love fried pickles and prefer when they are chips vs spears :). Overall great service and good experience! read more

First Off, the bartenders shouldn't be so self-absorbed by taking numerous selfies of themselves & tend to the customers! Second, the bartenders need to help ALL customers, not just their friends or the locals. I'm pretty sure this establishment relies on tourists to help maintain their bar. read more

We were in town over Labor Day Weekend and wanted to catch the A&M game--and this place was perfect! We were seated right away, and to our surprise, it was directly in front of a TV. Couldn't have asked for a better view of the game! Our waitress came by quickly, greeted us warmly, and got our drink order in right away. I had the Michelada (so flavorful and refreshing!), and my husband went with a Piña Colada, which was creamy and delicious. We started with the pretzel appetizer--hot, fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. For our main, we shared the chicken fried chicken. It was amazing--crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portion was slightly smaller than expected, but honestly, it was the perfect amount. We left satisfied but not overly full. And just when we thought we were done--they brought out complimentary apple streusel for dessert. So good and such a nice touch! To top things off, they had $8 shots, so I went for one as a little after-dinner treat. The atmosphere was casual and fun, with lots of patrons cheering for their teams. This is a unique spot in the middle of downtown Fredericksburg . We were starving before we got to town and we were able to get seated quickly. I would eat here again. It was a last minute trip, definitely want to come back and try some other spots. Reservations are your bestfriend in this little town. So try to plan ahead if you don't want to wait and want to try less of a bar scene. The sausage was tasty and a little spicy. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection. It was good food if you didn't want to fight the crowd. We had the fried mushrooms, the German potato skins, and the chicken fried steak. We both enjoyed a michelada but it didn't come with the shrimp, celery and all that as another picture on here had it. It was just a straight beer and michelada mix. The mix was DELICIOUS however. We were slightly disappointed that it didn't come as the picture shared on here. The food was good overall, the chicken fried steak was thick cut, gravy had great flavor, and the green beans were tasty. The service wasn't great however. The price was a little abundant in our opinion but we also expected that being in Fredericksburg. We probably will not come back not because it wasn't good but because there are a ton of options and we like trying new places! read more

Loved this place! Very relaxed atmosphere, and comfortable. Our waiter was fun, friendly, and helpful, which is a big deal to us when picking restaurants. The food came really fast, and tasted even better than we expected. We assumed because the atmosphere is so laid back, that maybe the quail and ribeye might not be to the level that we're accustomed to when we go out, but they did not disappoint! Ok so I was going to give it 3 stars because I did read another comment on how slow you get attention. But after waiting I realized the poor gal was running the whole bar and training someone on a football Sunday. I asked for a fried chicken sandwich and asked for it to be hot tossed. It was better than Dave's Hot Chicken. Hubby ordered the chicken Alfredo and of course they are not an Italian restaurant so a little disappointed. Definitely avoid this place. The hostess who greeted us during lunch on a Sunday spoke VERY little English. What was spoken was more like grunts: "You want booze?" Was basically the extent of his verbal abilities. He took us to our table, handed us one menu, took my mother's drink order and then tried to leave. I asked if he was going to take my drink order and provide for a food menu. The hostess seemed to become annoyed. No beverages ever arrived. We began to wonder if the host was mentally handicapped. Legitimately. Our waiter never showed up either, even for how slow things were. Two did walk past us multiple times, but never to take our order. I had to waive the bartender down to place an order. We ordered cheeseburger and Ruben (not complex food) and 2 sweet teas. I was brought a Michelob. Again, language barrier issues? The food was unexciting (and yes, I have low expectations). The sliced potatoes arrived cold. Neither of us even finished our meals. I asked for the bill, when the bill was brought, I immediately handed the waiter my credit card. He returned a few minutes later, but the amount on the bill dropped by over $10., And the bill had been split. Which we had not even asked for. I waved down a third waitress, and asked her what the problem was. She seemed rather embarrassed. The incorrect bills were voided, corrected. We left. Even with such a busy tourist town, such as Fredericksburg, I'm not sure how this restaurant stays open. They can't provide at even a minimum of any standard of food service industry. read more

They were average at best. Service however was bad after food delivered. Server never stopped back and was mostly behind the bar moving slowly while there were also 2 bar staff. She never checked to see how food was, ask about additional drinks. We wanted more pico and salsa but couldn't get her attention. Finally had to ask hostess for bill and she seemed a bit stumped. Genuinely appalled given the community is packed with incredible venues and eateries. So we were looking for somewhere to hang out for a little while after dinner. We just wanted a couple of drinks. This place hit the spot. We didn't eat; so can't attest to the food. But the Old Fashioned was a 6/10. The premium Margarita was a 7/10. With the premium margarita you get to choose from a certain selection of tequilas. They offered live music (pretty cool for a Wednesday evening) and they were super groovy. Chill music and low key atmosphere. We will come back next time we're in the area!! 4* because we ordered queso and they didn't have any. Also, I asked for a 1800 margarita and they gave me Hornitos. Nothing major. read more

I feel like they mainly focus on alcohol, which makes sense because Fredericksburg Main Street! The nachos used to be super bomb, but they unfortunately don't taste the same anymore and I keep forgetting that.
