This is ridiculous i buy here constantly i come here all the time since its near my house, the manager David and some other Hispanic manager or whatever she likes to call herself were really rude because we always ask for a water cup, u can't deny a water cup specially if we always buy items from here. David always gives attitude to us like he's to irritated that he's doing his job. I will not be coming back here. My partner went in to ask for just a water cup for me since we're in the outside sitting area and she over heard the Hispanic lady telling David with an attitude that she thought the water cups were just for customers. Like girl just because u didn't see us just get food doesn't mean u get to give attitude. I went inside ask for the manager in Spanish to her and she kept asking me what was the issue and I had to keep saying I wanted to speak to him. When I told him about it he acted like he didn't know she said that but she said that right to him. He said "oh but u guys bought something right" I said "yes" and then he said he never heard anything about what the lady said like she didn't say it to his face. He has horrible customer service he looks like he doesn't like his job. Thanks bye.

Culver's is underrated and not talked about enough. Houston honestly needs more locations!! Food: I had the Culver's Deluxe with Bacon and French fries. The burger is like a smash burger and simply delicious and fresh. The fries are crispy and have flavor which is rare for crinkle cut fries. Service: The service was great and your food is made to order and comes out hot and fresh but they move quickly.

On Saturday June 8, 2024 at 4:12pm, I went to Culver's on Atascocita Road for the first time after a job fair. I was recommended to order a Butterburger with cheese from the worker, it came with fries and I ordered a concrete mixer (confused by the name, I thought I'd give it a try as it was my first time having this as well). The meal came out at 4:15pm, that's 3 minutes after placing an order. (See receipt picture and time stamp on photo). How is that considered freshly made? The burger was relatively small compared to the name of a deluxe. I thought to myself, ain't no way this meal is $10.79?! How when everything is so small: small burger and small fries. Culver's regular fries come as small as they can get it. Such a ripoff. It didn't taste spectacular and couldn't taste the difference. The cheese was just placed on the meat it wasn't even melted. If I wanted that I could've made a burger at home for a lot less. The concrete mixer, did not keep its "concrete" shape, as it kept melting as I consumed it. I've never had a custard before and kept wondering if the concrete mixer was a custard? It looked nothing like the picture. Although for $3, and the size of it. That was a deal. I just wish I wasn't robbed with the food. The dining room area was filled with flies. Not even the workers were doing anything about it. They kept cleaning the tables and walking around. When I arrived home, 1 hour after arriving I felt awfully sick. I had an unexpected headache beaming from the top of my forehead and felt very nauseous, with a sharp stomach pain. So, I went to drink plenty of water and lie down. Upon laying down, my forehead began to sweat and I clutched my stomach with my hands, the abdominal pains were turning into cramps as if something was punching my stomach. Ouch! It was so severe, that I immediately got up and ran to the bathroom to sit down on the porcelain throne. I was in immediate pain and my stomach ached so bad. I knew this wasn't going to be good, as each movement was unbearable, and a stream of diarrhea flowed out of the back end. This is my first and my last time, I will not be eating Culver's ever again! Huge disappointment.

We love them. No frills, amazing staff and really good burgers. Ironically, I never tried them in Dallas because of their locations, but in Atascocita it has become almost ritualistic for me and my son. We've tried everything there and it is all good. The staff are well trained, courteous and the burgers are great. The new bacon is a welcomed change--it's thick. They also have Coke Zero. Culver's is one of the best places to eat when you don't want to cook and it's made to order so always fresh. We go so much that we know everyone's story and their work anniversary. It is also an excellent environment for after school and to have a sit down bonding session with a teenager.

I discovered Culver's while living in a small town in Minnesota. When they made their way into that town via Wisconsin, the people rejoiced. I went and had my first ever cheese curd there and was hooked. Now they have made their way across the states and it is still as great as I remember it. They aren't in the Houston city limits, but in our northern suburbs. I have only been to this location in Atascocita. It's off a busy street and seems to have a steady stream of customers every time I have been here. Customer service is always great. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. They are also very good about checking on their customers regularly. They have a pretty expansive menu compared to other fast food chains. What they are known for are their Butterburgers which are basically smash burgers. They are also known for their cheese curds and custards as well. If none of that tickles your fancy, they have a plethora of other items like chicken, seafood and different kinds of sandwiches. I have always gone with one of their regular cheeseburgers along with fries and/or cheese curds. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's one of the best burgers I have ever had, but for fast food, it's a great, tasty burger. They season their burgers and use fresh ingredients. That's a win in my book. They use crinkle cut fries which are my fave fry variety. It's hit or miss if they come seasoned or not. A nice sprinkle of salt helps out in the rare times when they are plain. The cheese curds are great. It definitely reminds me of being in the Midwest and is comfort food to me. Their custards are delicious as well. They are smooth and silky like a custard should be and they have different varieties to choose from. The Culver's in our area are pretty far from me, but I always make a point of stopping in when in the area. I will be back!

Double Meat Deluxe w/bacon, grill onions

Yes, literally right under my nose. Never had this place til now. I guess I overlooked the dull colors on the resturant. But got the double meat deluxe with bacon and grilled onions and a pumpkin shake. Crinkling fries wasn't hitting. Wish the had other fry option. But burger was better than Whataburger to me. Just comparing the taste to their Double meat. Lol. But I say Culver's burger is number 3 on my list against other chain burger spots. Customer service is valued like Chick-fil-a service to me. Friendly employees. Wendy's use to be mines back in the day, but the fell off when the owner passed away, R.I.P.

We were so happy to find this Culver's after visiting one in Indiana. Seriously y'all, they have the best frozen custard! Do yourself a favor, stop by and grab a cup and you can even add toppings to it. If you choose to sit down and eat, the indoor seating is comfortable and they bring the food to your table. The atmosphere here reminds me of IHOP, it's more cozy than most fast food places. Fried cheese curd is another must!

Trying out this fast food staple here in amble. It's been around for a long time. It's known for its frozen custard and butter burgers. They also have fried chicken dinners and they have fish burgers as well. when you pull up to the drive-through expect to be green ball line, that's OK that's because the line is for people wanting good hot accessible food at a great price number two don't be in a rush at the window. The person there is usually very friendly and up to talking a bit. I really enjoyed the interaction and thought a nice touch for a person to really take. Interest in my order had ever been there before, and other such kind of nomenclatures that don't usually happen at a fast food restaurant. Also, the food is awesome. I really recommend the butter mushroom burger. I've also had the double cheeseburger call excellent I can't really think of anything there that I wouldn't try again or I wouldn't try something new I've had the fish sandwich. There also wasn't my favorite fish sandwich but it was good and it was hot so if you're looking for a good hot meal at a great price tricolor if you want me disappointing.

The Food is AMAZING and the Burgers are always top notch! The Service here is amazing, and very quick. This restaurant is the definition of fast food. The burger is like is exactly there advertisement and are very good. They got my order correct and made sure what I wanted. I finally made it by a Culver's as they are becoming increasingly popular in the south....and now have 4 in the Houston area. They're a relatively new midwestern chain of restaurants with over 500 locations that started in 1984. Its a pretty decent spot for concretes or one of the other desserts they offer. It's similar to a Dairy Queen or even a Braun's. I stopped in just to try their root beer (because I heard a couple years ago that made their own) and a concrete. I selected a create your own with snickers and brownie bits. 2 toppings are included for the price, and the caveat is if you select any nut as a topping, they will charge you $1 more. Kind of crazy, but it's true. Look for the flavor of the day, since you sometimes get more than just 2 toppings for the same prices as a create your own. I also sampled Culver's very own root beer. It is dispensible from the soda fountain and they don't serve it in bottles or mugs or anything like that. The best way to describe it is that it's very sweet, uses cane sugar and tastes similar to those root beer flavored hard candy you may have eaten growing up as a kid. read more

I've passed this place so many times on my way to the gym I've lost count! It always beckoned my curiosity to stop by one day and see what draws the masses to this establishment. Thanks to their eclub's free sundae offer, I had the perfect opportunity to check it out. Entering the establishment, you are welcomed with a big splash of bright colors and smiling faces. The young lady who took my order had a smile plastered on her face from the time she said hello until she finished placing my order (they must have good dental coverage at Culver's for all that smiling)! Anywho, to redeem my free bday sundae, I had to show my id. No biggie. I was able to order the turtle sundae which includes Culver's creamy ice cream, caramel, chocolate sauce, and fresh pecans with a cherry on top. Decant yes! Delicious oh yeah!!! While I was waiting for my order, I previewed some menus and prices. A little on the pricey side for typical fast food, but something tells me that people don't just come here for the food--the service seemed friendly, streamlined to efficiently serve their patrons. They have some value meals as well that feature some of their favs in a smaller size that come with fries and a drink around $5. I'm definitely coming back to taste the food one day soon. Then, I'll reevaluate the rating for 5 stars. read more

my servers name was Emma. First off all I asked for my burger to be cooked all the way through because the last time it wasnt she had an attitude the whole time after saying that. I told her I'm lactose intolerant so I can't have cheese, she never said anything to the cooks and they ended up putting two cheeses I told her. she caught an attitude and told me that I will be and fine and it wasn't that serious. if you are going to hire teenagers make sure they have knowledge in customer experiences, especially because it's also a restaurant it makes the whole store look bad. very unsatisfied read more

Go get the walleye! My husband loves the Atlantic Cod dinner. I usually get the mushroom and Swiss burger but wanted a lighter meal. I am not a big fan of fish but SO happy I ordered the two piece meal. I ate one immediately and had the second large piece for lunch today. The food is good for a fast food chain , my favorite is the fish dinner with steamed broccoli and cole slaw, their ice cream desserts are also good, nice variety of flavors! Their employees are dedicated and bring out the food quickly, whether in the drive thru or at the online pickup area! I liked dining in , but since Covid they only have take out! Most other places have opened their dining rooms but Culver's have not , not sure if they ever will ! read more

Just left and had to write a review immediately. I literally have a smile on my face because of the kind, happy, adorable young man who was working the window. He genuinely seemed happy to be there. The lady taking our order was equally polite and helpful. The owners are obviously doing a great job creating a good work environment. Oh and the fries are the best fast food fries. Ever. Worst experience ever. I tried to get one cone, with ONE scoop of vanilla and another cone with ONE scoop of vanilla and ONE Scoop of chocolate. Maybe I'm wrong, but this does not seem like a complicated order. But, I had to explain myself literally four times, to three different people and they still handed me the wrong ice cream. And when I asked them to correct it, they literally scooped it off with a napkin and handed to me like this. Both countI will not be coming back here. read more

I have never had a bad experience at Culver's. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, from the butter burgers, cheese curds, fries with Wisconsin cheese sauce, all the way to their fabulous custard. My husband is from Illinois, where he introduced me to this awesome establishment. We currently drive over 45 mins to Culver's when we get the cravings for such deliciousness. Definitely wish a location closer to the 249 would open up! read more

It's a mystery to me how a chain restaurant serves better tasting and more affordable food than small business restaurants in Humble-Atascocita area. Today I bought a cod sandwich , onion rings, cheese curds (next time I'll get 5 of them!) and small chocolate custard for under $16. Piping hot and tasting fabulous. Four stars because they didn't put any sauce as I forgot to ask. Totally my drive thru place from now on! Worth some extra driving time. read more

I am a fan of the magically delicious culinary delight called the "burger." Since we don't have many of these in the greater Houston area, I was not familiar with Culver's until recently. Unfortunately, I have not yet had time to make it to Culver's to try a burger. I am very excited to though. In the meantime, I did make it to Culver's for a custard. It was outstanding. The "Flavor of the Day" was toffee pecan. The toffee custard was a mouth-watering, firm, freezing cold and juicy mild-toffee flavor. It was mild enough that it almost tasted like a mix of toffee and Mexican vanilla. Within that custard, was a blend of pecans. But here's the beautiful part - the pecans were both crushed *and* whole. Brilliant. Two very different pecan textures in the same cup of custard. On Culvers' website, you can view their upcoming "Flavors of the Day," and plan your next two months accordingly. Amazing. I will definitely be back for a burger, and will update my review. For now though, Culver's is off to a fabulous start in my book. read more

Holy Science!!! This place is great! The customer service is always awesome and fast. The burgers are a revelation! Typically when I look at a menu and see something with shaved prime rib between two pieces of bread or some persuasion of a Reuben, it's an easy decision; I get the shaved prime rib or the Reuben...... I haven't even tried them here yet, the burgers are that ridiculous. But I can safely say I drive the The 10 minutes it takes me to get here (Past many other fast food establishments) just as many times to get the triple scoop turtle Sunday, composed of their delectable frozen custard, as I do the "burgers".. ....if that's any testament to its quality -- Happy Yelping read more

The place was jam packed so I decided to take drive through to continue my call...the menu had a huge variety I don't eat beef or pork so I am Use of limited menu options. However I am Pleasantly surprised how yummy the butterfly shrimp basket tasted. It's imperative my food is hot fresh & meet expectation which they did and aboveDrive through style is different you take a number and pull Forward & a worker will bring food to car like a sonic after paying. I wouldn't normally review a fast food restaurant but given the quality of the food here I'll make an exception. I personally love the butter burgers here, cooked fresh to order and it's real beef. This is one of my go to burger spots when I don't want to drive too far. They are very friendly and greet your with a smile and hello. No one goes unnoticed here. It's conveniently located near my home. I ordered a butter burger kids meal since it comes in a decent size just enough to fill me up with fries and a drink. You also get a coupon for a treat. I opted for the caramel fudge cookie dough which was yummy. The service for me has always been great so I will be back again. read more

I think their burgers are what you hope homemade hamburgers taste like. These are freshly made, and they taste great. Their burger is well charred, and topped with fresh ingredients. I think it is hard to beat a fast food burger like this one. I also like that they will carry your food out to you. Be sure to save room for their frozen custard. Established in 1984.

In 1984, Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig's parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family's beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and began serving ButterBurgers¬¨Ü and Frozen Custard. Craveable as our signature combination is, the Culver family knew right away that although the business is centered around the food, it is really about the people. While folks can vividly recall the first time they bit into a ButterBurger or tasted a scoop of rich, creamy Fresh Frozen Custard, it's our way of welcoming guests that truly makes Culver's delicious.

I was getting off work, so I just wanted to grab doughnuts, but I see I shorted myself of an opportunity. Why did I see this woman put ice cream and cookies in between two doughnuts? She took that doughnut concoction and put it in a press that heated up the item. I felt crazy just getting doughnuts at that point, but I was ready to get home. Just know this, these doughnuts are light and tasty. My frugal meter isn't in love with this place, but sometimes you have to treat yourself. The specialty doughnuts have me wanting to try all creations. I think this place is worth coming to and time or two.

This place is way outside of town, but kind of near IAH. The frozen custard is so good, it's worth a detour on your way to/from the airport. I've never found frozen custard anywhere else in the south, so I was thrilled to find it. It's even thicker and creamier than super premium ice cream. Try it, you'll love it. The other menu items that I've tried are not that great. The burgers are pretty bland and have weird sweetish pickles.
