I have to admit, I am not a fan of fast foods, so the few times we visit one, I don't seem to change my mind. We tried Culver's, a chain for Wisconsin since my in laws like their burgers and it was on the way back. This location is hard to figure out to get to. Parking is plentiful, seating inside - not so much, it was pretty much full when we stopped by. We sat outside, despite being a windy day. I got the Wisconsin Swiss melt hoping it will be on sourdough bread (I was thinking of the Sourdough Jack at the Jack in the Box) but it came out on rye bread which I like, but in the combination with the patty, Swiss cheese and grilled onions created a bitter overall taste. Portions are small. Fries are OK, the Butter burgers that the others got looked just OK, smaller. Fountains drink, your usual. I skipped and went for water. As usual, customer service at fast-food joints is too fast, they get impatient if you linger (my first time at this chain people!), and they did not disappoint. Also, their salad menu is a joke, I'd challenge you to find something healthy - croutons, bacon as ingredients and so on! Not impressed with this chain! read more

I've eaten at many Culver's locations back in the Chicagoland area over the years. I don't eat much fast food at all, but Culver's is one of the few spots I'll go when I'm in a rush. Stopped in this Bonita Springs location the other day after grabbing some things at HD nearby. This was maybe the BEST Culver's double Butterburger I've had anywhere, anytime. Got it loaded with everything, but what made it so tasty was how they prepared the patty itself. Nice crisp-like char on the edges is just how these things were meant to be made. Not some lukewarm grayish patty. It was perfect in every way. Not a fan of their fries so I usually get cheese curds instead. Curds were on point as well. It was so great I had to test out a double scoop turtle sundae after the main event. Once again, it was dynamite. Bottom line, this is the best Culver's experience I can remember. this place is very confusing by coming in time to pick an order up and leave with no problem. Then I come in another time and everyone wants to check to make sure I'm not stealing which is quite surreal that you treat people that way because not everyone is a thief so from now on if you ask me to check to see if I accepted the order you're gonna have to open the bag and make sure that every item is in there because treating people like they're going to steal and staring at them and waiting without even smiling or being nice about it is beyond unprofessional and rude. So from now on when I come in there and pick an order up, you are going to open the bag and make sure everything is in there. It's inconsistent for me to walk in and grab the food with no problem and then another time I walk in to grab my food and your hovering over my shoulder to make sure I accepted the order and I come in there almost every day or every other day. read more

Worst burger I have ever had! Sourdough burger, the sourdough was tasteless, the burger had literally no seasoning, I threw it out. I have never thrown a burger out my entire life. They get a 5 stars from me! Stopped in for quick bite mid travel up North. Woman taking our order was super quick, witty and kind. The dining area was clean. It was busy in there and the place was clean. But....wait for it....both my daughter and I used the restroom and we both commented how clean the restrooms were. That's unheard of in lots of fast food places but this one wins it! Finally, we enjoy Culver's and their food was hot and fresh. Burgers, chicken tenders and fries! I'm actually going to give "this" location 4 stars. I've been to a couple of Culvers locations for ice cream, but I happened to be in the area at lunch time so I decided to stop in. I had a double Wisconsin, fries and drink. All for under $10.00. Not bad. The food came out quickly, and it was piping hot. The server was friendly and attentive. Asked if he could refill my drink. Shortly after another gentleman came by - asked how everything was, and offered to refill my drink. After I was finished, someone passed by and took my tray/trash away. I'm not sure if this is how all Culvers operate - but it was impressive. BTW, the food was pretty good also. Had an ice cream on the way out. What happened to Culver's???? i haven't eaten at Culver's for a couple of years. Last night my wife wanted to go to Culver's for a quick dinner as she used to enjoy the butterburgers. She ordered a double butterburger and I ordered a single sourdough melt. The sole resemblance to the old butterburgers was the bun, the burgers in both our sandwiches were literally not much thicker than a piece of corrugated cardboard and quite honestly tasted about the same!! Tasteless, unappetizing, a very disappointing experience. I've heard that some companies are cutting back on quantity and quality in place of raising prices in this economy, is this the case or is it simply a company decline? Yeah it is a burger place for the most part. Mrs. K. had a dollar off coupon that she was dying, dying I tell you to use. So I order their cod fish sandwich basket. Came with a medium soft drink, small fries, and the fish sandwich. I thought the sandwich was rather small but then I looked at my picture and thought hmm that is a nice filet of fish on the sandwich. It was tasty well cooked and slightly above average in taste. Mrs. K. ordered a kids meal cheese sandwich. So she did not get the dollar off but she picked up a free ice cream sundae. Mrs. K. said to me do we look old? I said yes of course we do. Then she wonders if the people are looking at us eating a kids menu and thinking those poor people can't get two regular meals. Service is always fantastic, and the food is just as great. I wish there was one closer to south miami / broward. The first restaurant on my way to Tampa I tried the burger, fries and shake. The second time I had the same thing except for the burger where I decided to try the chicken sandwich. The cheese curds are different from the regular fast food restaurants. When you arrive you'll order and take a seat. The food was ready quickly and the restaurant staff brings it to wheryou are seated. I was happy to see that this one is run just like the ones in the Midwest. Very polite staff, customers' Midwestern accents all around you, clean, efficient, and most importantly delicious! The food is good and the price OK, but not a bargin in my opinion for what you get. What aggrivates me is that I often call ahead and pick up at the drive thru. I asked for a gluten free bun that they charged $1.59 extra to get. Also ordered a double butter burger with sweet potato fries $9.88, so almost paid $12 dollars. The bun was stale and fell apart, so I asked for another bun and cheese, since when I put the burger together the cheese got stuck to stale bun. The new bun was good, but the piece of cheese was cold. Worst burger I've had at a Culver. I asked to speak to manager and he just said "oh sorry". Living nearby and accessible to countless fast food eateries we consistently go to Culver's on Bonita Beach Road. Starting out with the fact you are always greeted by someone friendly. The employees are more often than not busy wiping down and cleaning something which I really enjoy a clean dining room, soda and condiment station being tidy and clean and waste stations being clean. Sorry to say, i was not happy with my order I asked twice when i went For a medium well burger, i got a well done burger.
