What A Great Place! As were driving down the street towards…read morethe Naples Botanical Garden, we passed a brewery and next to it was this small Mexican restaurant. How perfect. After our nature visit, we could stop for a beverage, then get a late lunch next door. Well let me tell you, this is legit authentic Mexican. We walked over from the brewery next door. There's a patio out front with tables and umbrellas, but it was scorchingly hot and we wanted to sit inside. Not too many tables as it's small, but one opened up for the three of us. A very polite server provided menus and took our drink orders. My daughter and I both had Micheladas. You can select what beer you want in the mix. I had Modelo Negro, my daughter selected Modelo Especial. My wife had a bottle of water. No tap water here, you need to buy the bottle. We studied the menu trying to decide what to get. Everything we could see others eating looked great and tacos seemed to be the popular meal. Our Micheladas came out and these were festive. Large mugs, rimmed with a pretty zippy tahin and pepper blend, filled with the beer and a slightly spicy tomato juice mix. Very flavorful. A something new for us was the addition of a tamarind straw. It's a plastic straw, covered with a sweet spicy tamarind blend. They actually call it candy. You use it to stir your drink and then nibble on the candy. What a great fun thing to add to a drink. By the way, the Michelada was excellent. I enjoyed licking the tajin seasoned rim with each sip, just like a salted rim on a margarita. Still studying the menu, we ordered the Choriqueso appetizer. The basket came out with fresh fried corn tortilla chips and a bowl of queso cheese with chorizo sausage crumbled into it. Runnier than most cheese dips we're used to, but enjoyable nonetheless. Finally we ordered our meals. Al Pastor Tacos for my wife, Chorizo and Steak Tacos and Quesabirria Quesadilla for my daughter and Caldo de Camaron for myself. In just a few minutes, our delights were delivered and the feast began. All of the meats in the tacos and quesadilla were excellent. Great flavors and no skimping on the meats. Onions, cilantro and self squeezed lime punched up the flavors. The quesabirria come with an au jus style dipping sauce that was perfect. My shrimp soup was spectacular. Easily shareable, but I accepted the challenge to eat this myself. Served with numerous warm tortillas, chopped onions, cilantro and lime, I put it all in. A very light yet flavorful broth and as the pic shows, loaded with flavorful shrimp. I enjoyed every spoonful. A wonderful soup. As with most authentic Mexican restaurants, you are made to feel that \you are their guest. They will never make you feel that you've overstayed and if you want your check, you just go to the register at the counter. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Seating limited to 8 folding chairs and stand up narrow eating tables located outdoors only so plan for this. Cooked to order (literally from the fridge) so wait for the food its worth it. I took my chili cheese dog to go and when I got into my car I did not know what to expect behind the styrophome hotdogs box. What I experienced was chilicheesedog perfection in my opinion... poppyseed bun (not so ordinary) with perfectly assembled chili and cheese sauce. Not soggy. Perfect temp. Great chili. Next time expanding my chooce to some cuban menu items and the fries. For the people who did not have the perfect experience: Yah the interior is just a kitchen. Yah people may not speak perfect English (really?) It might even be dingy. ...But it was a damn good hotdog! Pic is not great but was in the moment!

Service can take awhile and the fries are sometimes mushy. I enjoy a good hot dog and was hoping to find a restaurant that can make them in a few minutes and skip the long wait time. These hot dogs have been a little charred tasting, but still have a decent flavor. They offer a variety of canned drinks on ice and other options like hamburgers and chicken tenders. This is a restaurant to stop by if you're looking for a casual hot dog lunch. The place looks clean, and a restaurant that makes hot dogs can be hard to find. One of the hot dogs we tried stood out, we were pretty much sold on the Chicago dog. They do a good job with this one and we may be back for another lunch.

What…read moremakes this place special isn't just the authenticity of the food it's the people behind it. The owners are also the chefs and the ones running the restaurant day-to-day, and you can taste the pride and authenticity in every bite. The food is incredible. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and many items imported directly from Greece give the dishes a truly authentic taste that's hard to find. My plate was packed with perfectly seasoned gyro meat, a fresh Greek salad with feta and olives, warm pita, and a delicious side that tied everything together. Simple food done the right way flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The atmosphere is casual which keeps cost down but don't let that fool you. This place delivers the kind of quality and authenticity you'd expect from a beloved New York style Greek mom and pop establishment. The service is warm and genuine, and you can tell the owners truly care about their customers and the food they serve. If you appreciate authentic cuisine and want to support a hardworking family run restaurant where the owners are actually in the kitchen cooking your meal, To Spiti is a must visit. I'm absolutely a regular, they never disappoint! * Best lamb Gyro I've ever had!!!!! Truly the star of the show!

However, if you look a bit closer there is one item in particular that is hard to find ... Yemista. What are they? Well, generally speaking, Yemista can be any kind of vegetable that can be stuffed (usually with rice, sometimes with ground beef, and other spices). In this case they stuff green peppers. And why don't we see them more often on Greek menus? Because they are very labor intensive to make. So for me, that was a big draw to check this place out. And it did not disappoint. The Yemista were SO delicious. We instantly needed to order a second portion. Yes ... they were that good! But wait, there is more. We paired the Yemista with another item on the menu, the Whole Chicken Leg which is oven roasted with potatoes. The chicken was SO tender it fell off the bone, and the potatoes were equally tasty with the fragrance of lemon permeating throughout the entire dish. The service was great also! Miss Anna took care of us very well making sure we had everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back!

There are numerous tables and booths, along with big screen TV's. The table tops have a neat design, and the chairs are comfortable. It was a "seat yourself" at the time we were there and we had plenty of seat choices. Our server quickly took our drink order and before the drinks arrived they wanted to take our food order. I don't like being rushed, so we asked to have some time to peruse the menu. The menu has lots of appetizers, a few salads, entrees, sandwiches and specialties as well as desserts, I settled on the baked penne. Food arrived timely and looked great. For me, the baked penne was too cheesy with not enough sauce. I was disappointed since every description of their sauce made it sound so good, so I feel like I missed out. I would return and try something else.
