Drove through to grab some lunch while traveling and we were impressed with their drive thru. Two people were outside taking orders and another was outside the pick up window. It made ordering and receiving our food a smooth process. When we opened the bag our order was correct and our food was hot and delicious. At the suggestion of a friend, I knew we had to try this place when we were on the road from Louisville to Birmingham. We stopped at this location, which was on the way and it did not disappoint. Dare I say that I loved the chicken here better than Chick Fil A?! Some people might say that is a blasphemous statement. Was excited to hit this new restaurant. However, no staff had on masks, so I cancelled my order. When I cancelled, the staff was very unprofessional in that they presented an attitude then huddled together and began scowling at me as I waited on the manager to process a refund. The manager was at least polite. Restaurants are one of my faves and I am willing to try and support them during the pandemic, but they MUST be demonstrating quality hygiene practices that include masks!! I have gone to this place one, single, time. The second they rhymed at me, I decided I was never going back. The chicken was ok, but I avoid this place like leprosy after that. Dear management, I am not an ex-employee, I'm just drunk. If you pressure your employees into that, I will not go to your establishment. I go there, you give me food, I leave. The place looks dirty and you ALWAYS have to pull up front and wait! Now-Raising Cane is a whole different experience! Place looks so clean, very nice and polite staff, food is ALWAYS hot and ready ( no waiting here) and never have screwed up our order! Wow, there was a lot of hype around this restaurant opening! The first couple of days the lines were so bad that they backed up Campbell Ln but I managed to get in without a wait late Wednesday evening. First impression: it was okay. The fries were good, similar to Zaxby's, but saltier. The chicken was nice and juicy but by the time it was cool enough to eat the breading was so soggy if slipped off the chicken. The sauce was exactly the same thing as Zaxby's Sauce so it was good. The Texas toast was good but thicker than I like and too narrow to wrap around a chicken finger. Finally, the sweet tea. It was very good; exactly what you'd want at a chicken restaurant. All in all, it was okay. It was the typical new restaurant opening scene here in Bowling Green, line wrapped around the building. I crave a good chicken finger every now and then so I thought I would give them a try. The chicken fingers were good size and moist but the breading was falling off some of the pieces and it got soggy as the fingers cooled down. That was a big disappointment for me because I like a good crunchy batter that sticks well to the chicken. It also delivered a strange after taste; not sure if that came from the batter, the oil, or both and the carryout box had a noticeable amount of grease in the bottom of it. It was gross. Usually when I have a cheat meal of this nature the taste will help override the guilt of eating it...this meal failed miserably. I think the hype will quickly fade. read more

I used to love driving up from Clarksville to visit the Raising Cane's in bowling Green. However that is all changed. Now every time we come here the restaurant is never open. Only the drive-thru. The amount of cars stuck in the Drive-Thru is unbelievable. The line stretches out onto Campbell boulevard. In a time where all of the businesses nearby are opened up and allowing people to come inside. This is unacceptable. I'll continue to like Canes but maybe not drive to bowling Green any longer. I guess I'll just have to settle for Zaxby's. I called the restaurant to inquire when their dining room would be open and the employee told me that they haven't heard anything from corporate. That cannot be true as I visited other Canes in other places and their dining rooms are open. Even when I visited the Chicagoland area the Raising Cane's there had their dining rooms open. read more

this was my first visit to raising canes, i already heard great things about the food, the food is great but it isn't the best thing about the restaurant, the people are amazing. my order was a miscommunication (which i wasn't upset about at all) but the front cashier man who's name was brent, offered us more sauce for no charge. that was already a very nice act of kindness. when i got to my vehicle i noticed my fries where also missing which once again it was no biggie and things happen all the time, no use of gettin upset over a misunderstanding. i walked in and was greeted and brent assured me he would have something for me in the time coming. so me and my boyfriend was sittin outside and he came out and handed us 2 free gift cards for a free meal! this man honestly made my day and made me realize there still are good people out there!
