We had such a great experience at Waffle House thanks to our server, Alex! From the moment we sat down, Alex was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. We ordered two All-Star breakfasts and asked to swap one waffle for biscuits and gravy, and it was the best decision. The portions were generous, everything was cooked perfectly, and honestly, we had so much food we ended up taking a full extra breakfast home between the two of us. A classic place. You cannot go wrong with such an iconic greasy spoon type restaurant. Such yummy crunchy waffles. The hash browns "all the way" really fill you up. Their waffles are simple and crunchy and absolutely delish! Waitstaff is quick and friendly. Prices can't be beat. Love going to Waffle House whenever I am in a state that has them. Went in for some waffles like any other Sunday with friends. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very fast with our food and anything we needed. So this review does not reflect the service, however, we are native Spanish speakers. As we were having a good time and enjoying the good food, the people behind us left immediately upon receiving their food, looking at us in disgust. Let me paint a picture for you: There we were, on a long road trip. Weather is awful. We were looking for some relief and we see that unmistakable yellow beacon of hope. We pulled in and knew it was gonna be good by the busted 1983 Monte Carlo parked on the side of the building. We walk in, weary from the road, and are greeted by Bobby McFerrin's "Dont Worry, Be Happy." I ordered the All Star. It was delicious. Then wouldn't ya know it, the great music choice continued with FGL's "Cruise" remix featuring Nelly. Waitress was very nice. Bathroom was so sanitary and squared away the Virgin Mary herself would be proud to go in there and take a dump. But let's be honest, if you're using a Waffle House bathroom, you weren't concerned with cleanliness. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would. Alex, one of the waitresses was the worst humans I think I've ever come across in the service industry in my life. Myself and two of my friends came here today on the way back home from Nashville. We walked in and we're waiting for a seat which was completely fine. We decided to just sit separately so we could sit and just be better for time. One of them sat down and there was another open seat that was open the entire time we were there. The guy and his kid got up to use the restroom and my other friend went to go sit in the empty seat at the bar, which was next to his stuff. No one was using the open seat. Alex, told her she was not allowed to sit there and my friend was confused and asked why she couldn't sit in a single seat that was empty. The look Alex gave my friend was sickening/disgusting. My friend just backed up and sat back down to wait for another to open up. Then another one opened next to my first friend who sat down. And then the guy and kid got up. I decided to just sit in the seat that man was in. Completely in no rush for them to clear the area off. She had said to me you need to get up so I can clean and your little friend down there who told you sit down is starting so many issues and y'all are about to get thrown out of my store. I was in complete shock because we had not done a single thing wrong the entire time. I got up and she turned around and told her coworker "these little WHORE are about to make me swing." One it's completely uncalled for and two we did nothing wrong at all. So we all got up because we don't put up with trash. I hope this woman is fired or fixes herself. I would never recommend anyone to eat here. Mind you this is after 3 days in Nashville. We were exhausted, quiet and just wanted to eat. I will definitely be getting a hold of management. Great for late night food- and for $7.83 for a platter of food? Huge!! I was too yoked to really look around and comment on the cleanliness - but it was good food, you can watch them make it if you are sitting t the counter - and the staff was friendly and got us goin' with the refills we needed. My oldest daughter really wanted to eat lunch here while we were traveling. She likes the place for some reason, and they are all over the south. In fact there are two at this interchange, one on each side. I guess they want to catch you coming and going. The service here was OK and reasonably quick, although the waitress apologized for the time it took to get our orders. If you want the old-time diner kind of experience, Waffle House seems to have not changed a bit since the 1970s. The food was good, and hot, and reasonably priced. The waitress was friendly. The place was busy for lunch.Yet there is really nothing remarkable or unique about Waffle House. Maybe it's the sameness that attracts people. The place was clean as far as I could tell. read more

Waffle house is a great place to go 24/7. It really doesn't matter when you go, it's always the same quality of food, GOOD!! and greasy...but it's a good greasy. The one negative with this restaurant is that the prices have continuously gone up higher than the rate of inflation...that's the only thing preventing thus from getting 5 stars! That being said, almost everything on the menu is good. I personally enjoy the cheesesteak omelet, the breakfast all star special, the burgers, and especially the hashbrowns. We walked in and was immediately greeted with a "welcome to Waffle House", and was invited to sit where we liked. The choice of seats was easy because they were all clean. The server was fast and exceptionally friendly. Our food was prepared and served promptly. Everything was hot, and as ordered. The server hit that unique point of checking on us, but not bothersome. She was awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better Waffle House experience. I was only too glad to tip her well. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate the Mel Browning Rd. Restaurant at a 10, but the Three Springs Rd restaurant gets a struggling 1. Hats off to the management and employees of this restaurant because let's face it, that's what makes it, or breaks it.
