Employee Elmo is so very nice. He remembered me from my last visit and that makes me feel like a valued guest. The overall experience was great. The burgers were delicious and the onion rings spectacular. We did notice however that the dining room was very chilly. Several of the tables around us were complaining to eachother as well. I did go back up to the counter to advise to Elmo. He said thank you, he would check into it. This was one of the best experiences ever at this location. The way they are doing the most and absolutely nothing at the same bewilders me. cashier gave me a blank stare like he was looking into my soul and whispered softly while taking my order i couldn't hear a thing. we proceeded to wait 40 min for food while experiencing an absolute emotional roller coaster. worker tried mopping soda and just spread it all over the floor. it was all pretty funny would definitely come again just not for food read more

Concrete mixer was good. But cookie dough was only mixed in top portion and there was a big brownie peice in my cookie dough vanilla ice cream concrete mixer. My question is... HOW do you not see a big ass brownie peice when scooping tiny cookie dough into the mixer They need to take their time on making peoples ice cream desserts. read more

burgers were fresh oily, but flavorful, did had a hard time breathing afterwards, worth it once in a while packed with fresh veggies and crunch good burgers the cheese curds were not good, I don't recommend as there were too much batter for a fast food joint, not bad read more

My husband, our dog, and I visited today so he could try the Curder Burger which has a limited run during October. We also ordered onion rings (none for the dog) and chicken tenders. The service was quick and friendly from the drive through all the way to delivery to the car. For fast food, the ambiance at Culver's is better than most other options. read more

I've been a Culvers connoisseur for years since they started popping up all over Wisconsin. This location is hit or miss as sometimes the order is spot on, but half the time they forget the condiments or the butterburger is sloppily thrown together. Culver's is always one of my favorites wherever you go. This one has the same quality and service that is the hallmark of the Culver's company. I ordered the Atlantic cod sandwich for the first time. It was flaky and juicy. I wasnt crazy about the breading, but a little tartar sauce helped. I may be back again if I'm in the area. read more

Had the cod fish sandwich basket for lunch today. I asked the cashier if it had tartar sauce on it, and she said yes. When I got the sandwich, it had almost no tartar sauce. I went up to the counter and asked for more, and they charged me $.35. That's unreasonable, as I paid $12.46 for the combo And it was supposed to have tartar sauce on the sandwich. How utterly ridiculous. The food was good, but I will never go back to this location. read more

Stopped by for lunch and pup cups for my two Golden Retriever dogs. Gave my order at the drive thru window but when my order was brought to my car they said no pup cups. They would charge you for a single serve ice cream or give you a spoon with a little ice cream. I took the spoons which made a big mess in my car. read more

We have been coming to this Culvers location for a number of years now. Living down the street, we love the food and the service. They have always been great. That changed tonight when I went into the restaurant to get my family some food. I was waved in by one of the young ladies working the till and she asked me for my order. I started to read off my order and she cupped her ear, as in she couldn't hear me through my mask. I pulled my mask below my lips to read off my order. The manager who was working (her name was Beeba or Beebo) began to berate met about proper use of my mask. She could have simply stated, "Sir, could you pull your mask up?" Rather, she shouted at me about staff safety, how I was putting everyone at risk, and how they had signs posted. She said I had to wear it properly or leave the restaurant. I looked around, and there were quite a few people in the lobby. Again, a simple, "can you pull your mask up?" would have been the normal thing to do.... Embarrassed and shocked at what happened, I decided just to leave. On the walk out, I heard her mutter something profane. Which will not be stated on this forum. I then asked to speak to the manager, and she stated she was it. I then asked to speak to her manager and she gave me her name. She then stated she was too busy to speak with me. Since I figured the store manager was too busy to speak with me about my compliant, I thought I would leave a message on this forum. read more

I love Culver's food and this place is just as good as the rest. Same style - order up front, be seated and they bring your food. The Ice Cream is great. I love the Reuben and Tenderloin and every once in a while get a Butterburger. The Snack Packs are great too - you can get a quick burger, fries and drink at lunchtime for under $5. Typically I wouldn't review a large scale chain fast food restaurant, but I had to make an exception here. We were at a dine in restaurant up the road (Maverick's) for brunch with friends & the service for drinks alone was so terribly slow & horrendous we left without ordering brunch. Starving, we made our way over to Culvers for a quick bite & were pleasantly surprised by the contrast in customer appreciation/service! The staff was helpful, FAST & friendly, even apologizing when we had to wait 2-3 minutes for our order. They clearly have a good training/hiring model because the people working here seemed much happier, much more caring & much more invested than the people we had encountered earlier. This review is solely based on my experience with the drive thru worker. Her name is Tamara or tamra(sp?). She was not very friendly at all. I ordered a sourdough melt basket. There was a long pause then I get "baskets come with drinks what do you want?". I was never asked if I wanted a single or a double which they are supposed to. When I got to the window I was greeted with a sour look and "hey, your total is x". I have never wanted to drive off from a Culver's until today. I saw her take food out to other cars. The same angry sour look on her face. Monotoned interaction of "here" as she hands off the bag. This is a horrible representational Culver's. I will think twice before coming back to this location. Stopped in yesterday for first time with business colleagues for a quick bite while in Champlin. Haven't been to a Culver's in about 10 yrs. One cashier/counter person, unfriendly. I wanted lighter fare rather than burger so took the chance on the Cashew and Chicken Salad, with Ranch dressing, cashier gave me cup for beverage. The table was sticky and greasy from previous guests. When meal was delivered I was surprised to see the dressing in a package not on salad, the greens were soggy, and chicken plopped on top with cashews around side. The salad was awful, chicken dry with a weird flavor - microwaved? Colleague had burger and fries but did not comment much on his meal. Definitely not going back. read more

I have come to the conclusion that the Culver's in Champlin Minnesota is a very good place to eat. I've based my decision on their customer service, along with the price and quality of their food. Culvers is satisfactory in all these aspects. Culvers sells what you would expect from a fast food restaurant, like burgers, fries, and shakes. Something they are known for is the fact that they use custard instead of ice cream in all their frozen treats. They also have menu items that are less typical to fast food restaurants, like chicken salad sandwiches and fish dinners. Culvers makes all of their food to order, and that is probably why it is so good. I would rank the customer service at Culvers very highly. The employees are always ready and willing to help you; they are friendly and always have smiles on their faces. The managers walk around the dining area and make sure that your food is made to your liking, which makes it seem like they really care if you are satisfied or not. One unique thing about Culvers is that although they are somewhat of a fast food restaurant, their employees walk your orders out to your table for you. This is convenient because it gives you time to get your condiments and fill your own beverage. My experiences eating there have given me an insight into the small things the Culvers employees can do to improve. When we think of Culvers I would imagine that typically people would think of a fast food restaurant. The problem with this thought however, is that sometimes it can take up to 15 minutes to get your food. This strange border between sit down restaurant and fast food place makes it hard to determine the amount of time it's going to take to eat. Culvers also has a somewhat annoying tendency to mess up people's orders, at least in my experience. It seems they always at least put the wrong condiments on the burgers or forget to give you something altogether. What is nice is that as soon as the mistake is pointed out to them, they fix it. Overall the customer service at Culvers is excellent, barring a few minor exceptions. Culvers is a cheap place to eat whether you're going alone or with a group of friends. Instead of just a getting a sandwich like at some other places, you can get a sandwich, fries and a soda all for under four dollars. Their food is so good; they could totally get away with charging more. But the cheap prices and good food is what keeps customers like me coming back. So next time you're going out to eat, try Culvers in Champlin. You won't be disappointed in the food quality, customer service or cost of the food. read more
