Came in a 5:30 on a Sunday night. Not busy. Was greeted by the young man at the counter and he then took our order. Our typical order at Culvers is complex. There are a lot of "special" things it seems as our family orders. For instance, we have three Gluten free eaters which all ordered different burgers with different toppings and specific special order things. The man was spot on and attentive to every detail of our order. All of the food was correct, which in this day and age is not typical. All of the food was hot, and delicious. The gluten free buns didn't become mush or dust, so however they do them here must be better than other places. My bun remained intact until the last bite and I had a double deluxe with all of the toppings. This culvers was clean when we arrived. Seating was available for our family of 6 without having to rearrange the dining room. The condiment station was ok. Lacking mayonnaise and mustard, but they did have Cholula hot sauce which is nice. Bathrooms were also clean and fully stocked. Were were just passing by and enjoyed this location. We are avid culvers diners, which have kids who used to work at culvers. Even they were impressed by the operation. It was great. read more

Come here once a month with co workers for lunch. We always mobile order 1/2 an hour early. Food is never ready on time. Today was horrific. We ordered and arrived on time. Food wasn't ready for 1/2 an hour after it was supposed to be. Got back to work to eat just to find out we got none of the sauces we paid for. Had to eat some dry ahhhh chicken. Culver's was my fav fast food place (decent food at reasonable prices), but I can't go there anymore. The dining area is too filthy. At may last visit, every single dining table had bits of food and sauce smeared over the surfaces. The floor was covered with used napkins and food scraps. The server carried our order to us in her hands without using a tray (her fingers were in the food). She was wearing gloves, but I just watched her ring up an order and open a door with the same gloved hands. Stayed at the residence inn right next door. The indoor is closed so you can only go through the drive through and the line can get pretty long. Great customer service here - we got the wrong order which they let us keep. Then when we got the right order the bag broke and they remade the whole thing and the manager gave us some sundae coupons. They made it right without blinking an eye and we ended up with about $80 worth of Culvers. Cheese curds - batter is pretty thick, but tasty and they have a good variety of yellow and white curds Mushroom butter burger - nice and juicy, was expecting more of a butter flavor Regular butter burger (not what we ordered) - on the dry side Fried - standard crinkle cut Snickers concrete - custard was a bit icy, but had a nice salty creme flavor Chicken tenders - very standard. read more

We placed a large takeout order. The food was cold. No silverware for salad and fish dinner (mashed potatoes and coleslaw). No napkins. We were staying in a hotel and didn't have any resources at our disposal. Burger had a dollop of ketchup and a smidge of mustard and one small pickle. Went through the drive-through, took 10 minutes to get my malt. There are two lines and they kept letting cars go through on the other side. Then once I ordered it was another five minutes. I went back again second time about a week later ordered the same thing of vanilla malt. I went inside this time to see if I could get out quicker. 16 minutes later I walked out with my malt. I'm done with that place. In fact, I'm done with all Culver's in the area. read more

This is by far the grossest Culver's I have ever been in. The bathroom reeked of urine, had paper towels all over the floor and was visibly filthy. Disgusting! The dining room was not much better. It was about 6:30pm, slow because it was a cool day follows heat wave, and there was good and detritus in the floor and not a single clean, as in wiped off, table to be found. To top it off, our waffle cones with the flavor of the day- salted caramel pecan pie- which sounds really good- was alright, but now they add these filler croutons called some sort of "cake" to the custard for no good reason as they are tasteless. We just moved away from the East side of St. Paul and the Culver's on old Hudson road by Sunray is where we used to get our flavor of the day fixes. Honestly, there is no comparison between these two Culver's. Their city might be dirty, but their Culver's is clean. Sorry Duluth Culver's- you stink. read more

I must emphasize I am only giving this one-star rating because of the terrible service that was provided at this location, food is still overall very good, however, we will not set foot at this location ever again. Family and I were vacationing in Duluth area and we all love Culver's that we decided to dine in Thursday 7/5/18. We arrived around 6:00pm and ordered dinner for 6 adults and 3 children, everything was going ok up until the fact that we waited for 30 minutes and the food was yet to be seen at our table, I went up to the counter to find out why it was taking them so long, one cashier said that our order had been lost in the mix and that they would try to get our food asap (are you serious???). Went back to our table and waited yet another 30 minutes. Went up to the counter again and this time I spoke to the manager and she said they were understaffed in the kitchen and she also said she had no idea what was going on back there... by the looks of it they were absolutely behind on everyone's orders, there was a long line at the drive-thru and a lot of customers dining in who were just waiting for a long period of time as well. By 7:00pm, we asked for a refund and left to a different restaurant. Culver's corporate needs to get a handle at this location; very terrible customer service skills and manager/staff have no idea what they are doing. read more

Very friendly and accommodating staff, pleasant and hard working. Offered to include sauces which a lot of places don't check to make sure they're in the bag before handing you the food, I appreciated that. The cashier was nice to my 4 year old made us feel welcome. The food felt like it took a while to be delivered, felt like we were just standing waiting for our number, but was eased with the good tasting food at a reasonable price. Our family loves this Culver's location; perfect for when you need to feed a hungry family after being out and about shopping in the area. We have dined-in and did drive thru service, and we were always treated nice from the staff and our orders have been spot on. We have visited this location when they've been busy and during slow times, and our orders have come out relatively quick. We are fans of the Double Deluxe Butter Burgers, and of course, the Mint, Chocolate and Pumpkin Shakes. For fast food, it's good quality with fast and friendly service. There were times when I've went through the drive through with an old Culver's cup from the last time; I just smile and nod and the staff don't ask questions; It's that good! read more

Not sure why this place gets such low marks. We dined in at this location with 2 adults and 2 children. The staff behind the counter clearly had some sort of mental challenges, but she was working alone, taking her time, repeating everything to make sure she got it correct, smiled, as friendly and efficient. Personally I am thrilled to see these individuals employed here and fully support this location just for that. We got our drinks, found our seat and our food was delivered. Everything was hot and as ordered. Food was good and staff was friendly again when we went up to get the custard that comes with the kids meal. I enjoy Culver's in general. I think their food is fast, fresh and plentiful. That being said, I have encountered locations that are pretty terrible. This location is not one of them. It was clean, staff was friendly and our meals were as expected. Sorry, it's super-tough to get me to give 5 stars to fast food, but 4 is definitely deserved here. read more

I am actually extremely sad to be giving this place a one star review. Most of the culver's locations that I have been too are very high quality for being a burger chain. This one seems to be an exception though. My best advice for going to this particular culver's is not to go to the drive through! Every time I go through, we find ourselves repeating the order back to whoever is taking it three or four times. They always seem to read it back to us correctly, however it always comes out wrong, missing something or burnt. You can also expect about a 4-5 min wait where you have to take a number and pull your car forward. This time we approached the drive through after not eating at this particular location for over a month. The person at the window proceeds to take our order. We ordered a bacon deluxe and a Pepsi and fries, I also ordered a single butter burger with green beans and a root beer. Today was an amazing example of why not to eat from their drive through. If you must and and are in a big fat hurry then I highly recommend that you check your food thoroughly and inform a manager that they have messed up your order before you leave. Here are the issues that I I had at the drive through today. 1. We had to repeat our order 3-4 times until he read it back to us correctly. 2. We pulled up to the drive through window to pay and we still found ourselves telling them what kind of drinks we had originally ordered. After that the kid at the window still asked the person who originally took our order what kind of drink we had. 3. There was about a 5 min wait for our food after we got to the drive through. 4. When we got home we found that there was no bacon on our bacon deluxe 5, The edges of my single butter burger were a bit crunchy as if they had been left on the grill for two long. 6/ I am pretty sure I ordered cheese on my burger even though there was none and it didn't say it on the ticket. 7, We were charged for the Bacon Deluxe even though there was none. This place needs some motivated employees. Don't come here after 8 PM. You'll receive cold food that was probably cooked hours prior. Employees always seem upset that you ordered anything. I would have liked to be able to review the food at this Culver's, but the service was so slow even after being there for close to 45 minutes we left with no food. There was a lengthy line inside yet they only had one cashier operating so we decided to go through the drive through which had only three cars ahead of us. They took one order and then ask the next car to hold and the hold time was 10 minutes or more for each car ahead of us. At least two cars left from behind us in the Drive-Through while we are waiting. We were meeting somebody at the hospital in Duluth so we were not able to wait that long for food but noticed as we were leaving that people that had ordered food very long ago were still waiting for their food at the drive through. We also heard them tell the person in the car in front of us that they were out of Diet Pepsi. All in all a bad experience. We will not be back. read more

We got in and ordered our food Togo and it took over 20 minutes to get our food and people who came in after us got there food first. Then we got our food and brought it out to our car the burgers were burnt and milk shakes melted. We were not pleased with the survive either extremely rude server and the workers were standing there doing noting and talking. Even heard one swear. Now we've eaten here before and had great food.
