Culver's in Elmhurst, you got to love it ! Great food, clean dining and bathrooms, great service, and Gluten Free options! I had the Bacon Butter-burger Deluxe on a GF bun and made it a basket, fantastic! Bacon makes anything taste great ! My wife had a double Butter-burger with cheese and no bun but with lettuce and tomato ! Double fantastic! This is near the hotel where we stay when visiting the senior facility in Northlake so we will definitely be back! read more

I buy usually couple times a week from Culver Addison (for many years), and the quality of the food is always fantastic. Tonight I decided to purchase my DLX burger from Culver Elmhurst since the place was in my way going back home to Addison. To be honest the quality of the food is terrible. The burger was dry, the bun was saggy, and overall the sandwich did not look or taste good. I assumed every culver has the same high standards as the next one, but this burger I got is pretty much like buying at McDonald at double the price. I am very disappointed. A bit more expensive than most fast food but the food is worth it. The building is on the smaller side but the Atmosphere is pretty decent. Customer service is solid, staff makes sure you get what you need in as timely a fashion as possible. All in all a solid Culver's location! read more

Stopped in for sundaes, which were good, no complaints. For the heck of it I also ordered the cheese curds assuming coming from Culver's, they'd be good. They were terrible, not at all like traditional Wisconsin cheese curds. While this small food order was not good, we also had a chance to look around the restaurant and were very surprised. It was a mess, with food and scraps on the floor and some melted ice cream on the next table. We will not be going back. read more

I had such a taste for a fish cod sandwich but I was truly disappointed at their extremely greasy fish and all it was just batter tiny amount fish on their fillet. I did tell the cashier to salt their streets because their was a lot of ice on the floor making it hard to walk inside the Culver's restaurant. They ignored me just as they ignored no to put salt on my fries. What is it with fast food restaurants that they put so much salt on the food. The government should have a say so on the amount of sodium and sugar goes into our foods. Anyway my granddaughter choose to go to Culver's for once and I was happy because his dad will never take her to McDonald's. I do love the fries but please no too salty. read more

Just a note that if you are dying for a turtle sundae or a butter burger you can now get one in Elmhurst on York road by Thornton's. Today at 10 am they are having their grand opening. The ribbon cutting ceremony is at 9:30 am . The end of the day found me thinking, why not stop for dinner at Culver's . It's only 2 doors down from me. A word of warning the parking lot can be a hazard to your sanity. There is only one way in and one way out and you share that with the drive through people. As I approached, on foot by the way, traffic was snarled in all directions. This will always be a problem during peak periods. The service inside is really moving, nice to see in a new establishment. In fact it almost seemed like there were as many workers as patrons. I ordered the classic double cheeseburger, pretzel bites, cheese curds and a soft drink. The burger is made up of two thin patties, they are crisp and covered with a nice piece of lettuce, cheese, tomato and a slice of pickle for some reason crowning the bun. I was impressed by the slice of red onion. The bun was soft yet did not fall apart as many do these days. Think about the Big Mac, it looks so nice in the advertisements, yet when you open the box it's a mess. When you try to pick it up it slides apart in all directions. All in all, a very nice burger for a fast food chain. I have heard a lot about the cheese curds and I was wishing there was a microwave available to blast them. The outsides were crisp but the centers were cold. The pretzel bites were surprisingly good, not great. When I left I picked up two sundaes to go. They were a step up from Dairy Queen's. My whole bill was $26, not bad for two people. Rainbow Cafe is 4 blocks away and I could have had a sit down meal of my choice with soup or salad, entree and desert for that price. This is the worst customer service I've ever seen and the worst people in society serving the drive thru.i have a sprained ankle and I'm 7 months pregnant and they refused to give me my order because I don't have an ID. I have the order confirmation on my phone!! It's a confirmed order with Uber. Why isn't the confirmation enough. I can't walk inside because I need to stay off my feet but I need to feed myself and my kid so drive thru was essential for me but Kathy or Kathrin refused to give me my order. I seriously have to provide a doctors note to get food to prove I have an injury. Utterly disgusting customer service and the manager should be ashamed with herself. They denied a copy of a coupon that I presented when the coupon did not specify "no duplicates accepted" as other Culver's coupons clearly state. In addition I ordered a mint peanut butter cup concrete mixer and I received a mint peanut butter...unfortunately no Peanut butter cups. See pic. We've been trying to give this location a chance to improve since it opened almost two weeks ago, but its service has been spotty at best and shows little sign of getting better. Last night, we waited a full 20 minutes for a simple drive-thru order of three frozen custard servings before my husband went inside with our number to find out what the deal was. We were slightly amused by the two off-duty, uniformed staff who sat at one of the outdoor tables next to our car, swearing up a storm. Apparently, the staff inside -- which appeared to be languishing idly behind the counter -- had no clue that several cars outside were still waiting for orders. (Two other waiting motorists got out of their cars and went inside to find out what was going on.) They dawdled in issuing us a refund, which we took to Hamburger Heaven down the street for soft-serve cones. (Hamburger Heaven had just closed, but the folks reopened when they saw us approach. Huge thanks for that.) I live-tweeted the wait, @-ing Culver's in a nine-part tweetstorm, and might have been vaguely amused by the situation had it not been us. We've had great experiences at almost all the Culver's we've been to, but I'm afraid I have little confidence that the company's corporate-run social media will pay attention. If I could provide no stars, I would. We'll likely go back to the Addison location for any frozen custard cravings we might have. We just can't recommend the Elmhurst location until they get a clue about service. read more

I'm not usually one to do this, however I had a dangerous experience at this Culver's. I ordered the cod, and felt a weird item in the back of my throat. For two whole days, a shard of plastic was stuck in the back of my throat. It was painful and uncomfortable, don't go to this Culver's unless you want to eat literal plastic. I have used this Culvers since it opened. Food was pretty good, and using the drive-thru was ok. Once I rec'd the wrong order but things happen. Yesterday, the dining room was open so we decided to go in. What a mistake that was. We sat down at one of the (few) clean booths that wasn't marked no seating. Manager hustled over and accused us of moving the sign. (we hadn't) . She felt the need to not only lecture us and another family on social distancing, (like we didn't know). This isn't the place to go if you have a limited amount of time for lunch. The staff is lackadaisical, the drive-thru line went around the building and out into the street. I opted to go in myself. After placing my order, I stood around with a little plastic number-tent for over 20 minutes. During the first 2 minutes of this time, one of the staff tried to hand me the ice cream I'd ordered. (to go). Fortunately she took it back, because it was another 18 minutes or so before the hamburger I'd ordered was given to me. When I drove out, I realized that the reason the drive-thru line was so long was because there was no way for anyone to "move up" - all of the wait-spots were full, and nobody was moving. I went to the grand opening today and was very disappointed. I used the drive thru and ordered $30 worth of food. My kids grilled cheese has burger char all over it and was cut way, way off. Like 1/4 and 3/4. Mine and my brothers burger was at over cooked and didn't have any tomato or lettuce even though I asked for everything but pickles and mustard. What a waste of $ and a huge let down. Hope they can make it right. read more

I'm not usually the one to do this but stay away from this location. The management and staff are just awful. They have screwed up my order for the 6th time in a row. I decided to call the restaurant and an employee picked up and told me that they were the manager. Then, I heard loud laughing and then the actual manager ended up taking the phone and told me that the employee before lied about being manager. This staff here are very incompetent and your order will be wrong. Whether you order it in the "restaurant", curbside, or drive through. Went inside to order and once I ordered I waited 30 minutes standing around the counter and saw 15 people get their food in front of me and leave. I eventually went up and asked for my money back since my friend had already gotten their food and waited, and it was getting cold. When I asked for me money back they hadn't started my order and Paula the manager was not very friendly. Will not be going to Culvers for a while which is a shame. A younger employee came up and apologized which was nice, but management was in disarray and now I don't have dinner since they wouldn't even include the food once they refunded me. read more

This spot is great for good food although a little more expensive then a mcdonalds its totally worth it and that also includes the extended wait times for your food. While some people might complain about the staff so far I have no complaint about them. read more

I don't often leave negative reviews, but I had to make an exception based on what I saw today. Received the wrong custard order after an exceptionally long wait. Maybe it's because there was just one teenager working the ice cream station alone during the dinner rush while other employees stood around doing nothing. Staffed almost exclusively by disinterested teenagers who clearly didn't want to be there, but I would take disinterested teens any day over the rude and disrespectful manager I dealt with in trying to get my order fixed. Very mismanaged! I recommend the Addison Culver's just down the road instead. read more

Stopped for a quick dinner with friends, and was given a pleasant surprise. The facility was very clean and neat, and the workers on shift were rather efficient.
