Lemon chicken, was just grilled chicken...

Food is pretty solid, this is from multiple times going back. Services is solid. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space/atmosphere is basic.. what you expect out of a suburban chain restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that it's dog friendly and has a dog menu[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . Ok, been to this place plenty of times now.. and best thing I've had here is there the fish & chips or the burgers, fried chicken sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is legit solid.. my dog loved his meal, of course.. went on a Thursday and there have been good amount of dogs on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Solid service every time. The happy hour is something I'd for sure come back to.

The food was great, and prices seemed average for the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We opted to eat on the patio since inside the restaurant was very loud and crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's worth noting that dogs are welcome on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our service was not the best unfortunately. In multiple instances we never received things we asked our server for. We also waited quite a while to order our food because she was chatting with another guest. Even so, we will probably give this place another try on a less busy day, as we went on a Saturday afternoon. They have a really solid veggie burger, and there's no up-charge to substitute, which I always appreciate. I ordered the Baja California burger, which was a really nice combination of flavors. I upgraded my fries for Cajun fries and honestly wouldn't next time. The Cajun spice was not spicy at all and the flavor wasn't worth the extra $2.99.

We decided to try Lazy dog after I accidentally cancelled my Valentine's day reservation and wasn't able to get another. We enjoyed the food. The hot honey feta dip had us obsessed!! The wait was a little long (it was a holiday so we understand that) and they gave us a coupon for our next visit so I can appreciate that! 100% will visit again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance - loved the enclosed patio when it's cold outside, heated, warm fireplace in the middle[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service - excellent service until we asked for the check and our server never came back with it Food - spicy tuna crispy rice (tuna was fresh, rice was extra crispy, personally felt like there was too much sauce)

Here's a clean, polished version you can directly paste: I stopped by Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar after work. I had come with colleagues for a customer meeting, but they had to leave early for the airport, so I ended up spending some time here on my own. Overall, I had a really good experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was quick, and the ambience is warm and inviting--perfect whether you're with a group or dining solo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My server was attentive and gave great recommendations, which I really appreciated. This was my second visit, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I would recommend this place and would happily come back again.Food was amazing

12/31/25 update: I made a reservation for 7:15 PM and they told me it would only be a few mins. I checked again a little past 7:15 PM. They marked me down that I checked in but they didn't have a table ready for us. Very poor customer service. What's the point of making a reservation if we can't even get seated on time? This isn't fine dining, it's just a casual restaurant. We had an activity planned for 8:30 PM but somehow it seemed like the kitchen would be backed up. This was my third time being here and this will be my last. The first couple times at two locations were great but this third time left a bad taste. They need to do better.

I came here with 12 of my coworkers and they were able to get an area set up for us with a reservation. Service was a bit unfriendly, we put in our appetizers with our main dishes because the waiter never came by to put them in after the drink order and he was really grumpy at us. Food was not bad for the value. I got the fireside deal where you get a main dish and a dessert for $15. I ordered the fried chicken dinner and the mashed potatoes were the best part. The veggies were sauted spinach with sweet potato and bacon but it was a bit salty for my taste. I couldn't finish it. The fried chicken was fine, but the breading and the gravy didn't have a lot of flavor. The appetizers were phenomenal. I would come back here just for the apps. We shared the hot honey feta cheese which was savory and sweet and super creamy. The bacon app was spicy and perfectly crunchy. And the cheese curds were really solid as well. Really nice decor and the restaurant is fancy, but service can be slower. They also kept forgetting to bring over my dessert even though I told them early on I wanted a to-go order of the banana pudding when I placed my main dish order. They did make it up by giving me some extra dessert orders, I left with 2 brownies and 1 banana pudding.

We were finished shopping at Oak Brook Center and just wanted a few appetizers and drinks. We have been to other Lazy Dog locations in the past but never to this location. It was fairly busy for a Thursday night but we were able to be seated immediately in the bar area. My wife had one of their drink specials and I had a beer. Both were fairly priced. We ordered the Cauliflower Ceviche and Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The ceviche was fresh with homemade chips but very limey. Too much in our opinion. The lettuce wraps were very good but could have used more lettuce for the portion of chicken they gave. All in all, both were pretty good. They offer a huge menu plus Happy Hour specials,so definitely a place for everyone.

We stopped in for a drink and appetizers at this Oakbrook location. We sat in the bar area and the whole place was pretty full. Our server greeted us promptly. I was happy to try the seasonal drink special Hibiscus Margarita which had the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I was disappointed that the gluten sensitive menu had no appetizer selection. We ended up sharing the cauliflower ceviche minus the chips for me. It came with guacamole and if you paired the two it was delicious. The ceviche on its own had an excessive amount of lime so the guacamole tamed it. The lettuce wraps were a tasty bite that I would order again but it only comes with four romaine lettuce leaves and the filling was enough for five. Butter lettuce would be an even better choice for this dish.

We actually really enjoyed lazy dog as a family! They are extremely kid friendly with crayons/activities, a kids menu and plenty of space. There were many, many, many families dining on a Friday evening, so we fit right in and felt comfortable right away. I felt like prices were reasonable / just about average, and portions were decent. I ordered the crispy tuna small plate as well as the chicken burrito bowl, and had leftovers to take home. The place was BUSY, but service was really keeping up with everyone and we felt taken care of. Was it the most amazing dining experience? I wouldn't say that. Was it perfect for a cozy family right out? Absolutely! We would be back!

    Analyn T.

Food and drinks here are always good. It has a wide dining area, noise level is minimal. I like that! I had the ribeye bibimbap which is really good! My daughter had the fettuccine alfredo which is just ok. The hibuscus margarita is on special - $8! Our server is nice and very attentive. Parking can be tricky... it gets full because it's on a strip of restaurants. We parked by Costco and just cross to the resto.

First time to this Lazy Dog location, but I have been to other locations. I came in with a friend during a busy Saturday rush. Thankfully, we were able to snag a seat at the bar. Both bartenders were pretty busy so it was a little wait for some service. However, we were acknowledged by both staff. Drinks were excellent. I tried one of their cocktails as well as one of their mocktails. The jalapeño strawberry mocktail was fun. For dinner, I had the chicken burrito bowl and it was filling. Decent spot with large menu. They have appetizers, salads, burgers, and larger entrees. They also have wide variety of beverages. Give them a try when in the area.

This place is the best place if you're looking for something with good quality and less price during happy hour. They have wide variety of food options during happy hour at a reasonable price. The only item from happy hour that I didn't like was Brussel sprouts which was roasted more and dry. Other items like fries, inside out quesadillas, onion rings, house garlic bread are really good. The service is great and the waiter was accommodating our multiple requests and specifications. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the ambience as it's a big area and felt good place for family dinners.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So make sure you're paying close attention to your GPS when you're heading there. The good news is it's located in a mall area, so there's plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The atmosphere is not overly upscale, but it definitely still gives fine dining energy. The low lighting creates a more intimate vibe, making it a great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed evening meal. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are always on point. This time I ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes, and it was my first time trying that dish there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. My friend ordered the pork chop, butterflied and cut open, and she said it was simply amazing. Now let me get to the real reason I keep coming back. The carrot cake. I have had carrot cake from big-name bakeries and small local mom-and-pop spots, and I'm telling you right now, J. Alexander's has the best carrot cake in the world. If anyone wants to debate that, please let me know where I should go try another slice... or better yet, buy me one so we can compare! Because of that carrot cake alone, J. Alexander's will always be in my Top 10. So yes, the food is good, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is nice...

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We are looking forward to bringing friends and family to return visits. Soon.

We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!

As we ordered drinks, he asked only my daughter (33 years old) and my niece (39 years old) for identification. My niece explained that she had her ID available digitally on her phone. Casper said he needed a physical ID but would check with a manager to see if the digital version could be accepted. After speaking with management, he returned and informed us that a digital ID would not be accepted. He explained that the restaurant's policy required physical IDs from anyone who appeared to be 30 years old or younger. When we expressed our frustration and said we would not be dining there because of this policy, he showed no concern and offered no apology. We were curious about a random age requirement if the server thought you "looked" 30 or younger although the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. Before leaving, we asked to speak with a manager. Ryan, the manager, met us at the door, and we explained that we were disappointed that our niece could not order a drink despite having a valid digital ID. Rather than addressing our concern, he compared the situation to him being carded at liquor stores. We pointed out that this was a restaurant, not a liquor store, and that the policy appeared to be applied selectively based exclusively on the server's judgment. Ryan offered no apology and referred us to the General Manager. When Christa, the General Manager, joined us, we asked why the restaurant used a 30-year-old threshold when the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. She initially stated that the policy was to request IDs from all guests ordering alcohol. I explained that only my daughter and niece had been asked for IDs. She then revised her explanation, saying that servers request IDs from anyone who appears younger than 30, making the policy exclusively dependent on the server's judgment. We also pointed out that we observed a nearby table of younger-looking guests had been served alcoholic beverages, but their server did not ask for their IDs. Christa questioned our observation. What was most disappointing was that neither Ryan nor Christa apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged our concerns. As first-time guests, we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that we will not be dining at Perry's in Oakbrook again and has left a bad impression of Perry's management team, in general. If I could rate them a "no stars," I would.

The Duck Corn Dogs were another standout, perfectly cooked, tender and moist. The banana ketchup added a layer of flavor. I originally came for the adobo, but unfortunately they had already sold out. Instead, I ordered the Double Dip Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich, and I'm glad I did! The chicken breast was incredibly tender, juicy, and savory--absolutely delicious. To finish, I had the Ube Cheesecake. Rich, creamy, and wonderfully decadent without being overwhelming. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back for that adobo I missed and, of course, to enjoy a few more of those amazing craft beers.

We have been to Phase 3 : Elmhurst several times and we love it!…read more The first time we visited, it was just for beers. The beers were excellent, and the food looked and smelled so good that we vowed to come back! We've been back twice now and loved it each time! You can't go wrong with their beers! Their flagships are solid and they always have a healthy number of experimental brews. Best of all the worlds! This time we both got IPAS and loved them all: Trail Trip, West Coast Pixel, and Swells! Trail Trip was my favorite because I prefer non-hazy. For dinner I got the double-dipped fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. YUM! Bursting with flavor and deliciousness! The spicy gochujang sauce is divine! And super filling! My husband did the OG Burger, Fries, and 10 oz beer for $15 Monday/Tuesday deal. He loved the food, drink, and the deal! The space is so clean, open, and inviting. The front dinning area is spacious enough with plenty of seating and the bar, but there is also a fantastic outdoor space. The servers will all friendly, helpful, and professional. Things can move a little slowly, but it is worth the wait! On busy weekend nights, they do have online reservations, so that can be a good way to secure a spot! Next time we are in Elmhurst, we will definitely be back. We love Phase 3!

Today was a good experience. I just worked out and called to ask about the dress code. No dress code, I'll be right there! I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave me time to decide without feeling rushed even as I changed my mind a couple times. I ordered the salmon and Mad Rose to drink. The drink has a lot going on and wasn't for me. It reminded me of a cinnamon orange tea, citrus and spicy. For dinner, I waffled on a couple fish dishes, but went with the salmon. It has a nice, crunchy glaze on it with some nice citrus flavors that weren't overbearing. I wasn't sure how the risotto would taste with the orange, but it worked. I was asked several times how I was doing and how my drinks and food were. Dining solo, I get ignored at times with subpar service. Not tonight access I appreciate that. I would recommend based on service and the dish I had. I will return to try more.

I ordered from Entourage Downers Grove and was honestly impressed with how well everything held up for delivery. The standout for me was the lobster bisque. It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.
