Very friendly service! The frozen custard was ok, nothing to rave about, but something I'd get again. Seeing Cameron's review and other sites comparing Butterburgers to In-N-Out gave me butterflies because I've been having massive cravings for my favorite burger joint. So I set out for Culver's to see for myself. Well, the Butterburgers are good for what they were, but they're NOTHING like In-N-Out burgers. *cries* The double Butterburger had fresh-tasting beef and a toasty bun. I've eaten there a half dozen times and I liked it until today. I ordered a single burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms, and it was greasy, the bun was soggy and after a couple of bites I started to get sick from all the grease. I will NOT be eating there again. read more

Debating on four or five stars! Fast, fast, fast. Good, good, good! First time in, won't be the last. Stopped in after Sam's Club shopping. On the way home, so why not try something new. Greeted by people who were actually smiling. How odd. Almost seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. Ordered after debating with myself about what to get and by the time I got my root beer the food was out at the table. Nice sized double with Swiss and mushrooms. Excellent onion rings, hot and tasty. Burger was very good. Similar to the way burgers used to be. (Old fart here, I can say that and get away with it!) Nice, quiet dining room. A judgment call here, but I doubt if their burgers travel well, so probably best to eat in. A little greasy, (they are called butter burgers, after all) but my cholesterol tests are within parameters. so WTH! Clean dining room. Almost empty. The employees seem to know their customers well. While we were ordering I happened to mention that I hadn't had frozen custard in many years and the young lady cashier immediately offered us samples. Unheard of! The vanilla was just like I remembered and I got a medium size dish after finishing my burger and onion rings. Tasted like the custard I remember from when I was in HS. We had a craving for custard so we went to culvers. I had a cookie dough mixer, which turned out to be overpowering, I think it would have been better if they mixed in vanilla instead of chocolate custard. This doesn't deter me, for the rest of my culvers experiences have been fantastic, full of delicious burgers chicjken sandwiches, and most importantly - cheese curds! Have dessert first!!! I agree make sure you order dessert with your meal that will give you incentive to eat it otherwise you may be too full to eat it LOL. I was amazed to actually pay attention to their menu beyond just the burgers I usually get. Unfortunately this occurred after I had already ordered my burger for dinner. They have actual dinner entrees to choose from. There is ordinary fast food and then there is Culvers. Food is great, prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly and efficient. Drive thru attendant was kind. She made sure we got all the condiments we needed. We were asked a few different times. Attendant was also patient considering it took us a few minutes to order because we didn't know what we wanted. Had to pull up while waiting for food. Chocolate shake was good and thick. If you've been searching for a Steak And Shake or a Dairy Queen to visit, forget both of 'em. Come here instead. Culver's has better food, a better menu, coloring books for the kiddies, and a pleasant light blue color throughout. It's the kind of vibe a doctor's office goes for but misses. Culver's shakes are pretty good, too...except for that salty kind they put out special. Can't remember what it's called, but try it once...you'll see what I mean. They have pretty good fish dinners. Butter burgers. Crinkly fries. All that good crap. It's frequently busy...which is more than I can say for Dairy Queen, except for when it's the only place in some tiny burg somewhere. So go to Culver's. It's on 256 right near Graham Road. But don't speed. Because the cops are waiting right there with their radar guns, like the Sioux at Little Big Horn. read more

More of a 2.5. The hubby really loved the strawberry shake. He got the prime rib sandwich and cheese curds. I got the bacon butter burger and onion rings. The prime rib sandwich was good but he said the meat was heaped in the middle and thin on the sides. The curd was decent and the breading was seasoned. (Have to say I prefer A&W's cheese curds) My burger was like Steak and Shake which I'm not a fan of. The bacon tastes really fake, kind of like bacon flavored rice paper. Meh. The onion rings looked promising but weren't anything special. The price was decent, about $16. We might stop back for shakes sometimes but I don't need to eat there again. read more

The fried chicken is good when it is cooked fresh. The green beans need to be cooked longer and the mashed potatoes need a little more flavor(you need to add salt and pepper). The butter burgers are good. read more

As others have stated, better quality than the big three when it comes to burgers. Highly recommend the double butter burger with bacon a side of cheese curds. Haven't had anything thing else - mainly because I have trouble resisting another burger! Definately recommend if you're looking for a change. Don't forget to try their root beer! read more

Dear patrons: Recently had an unpleasant incident at culver's store #368,1912 OH Rte. 256,Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, I purchased two buttered burgers and a shake, the attendant who prepared it for me was Hispanic individual bushy hair and wears subscription glasses. The burgers were okay but the shake has a funny taste to it, I thought the attended mix the shake milk with the malt drink. The shake drink did not taste like a shake so I purchased a malt drink just to verify The authenticity. Several hours later I felt on verge of vomiting I tried to find a manager but this establishment had young adults without supervision, I questioned the validity of the shake drink and all the reply I received "I don't know" That evening I lay down to rest and my chest was throbbing me. Sadly, I'm very disappointed with this Culver's location. My husband and I like to stop at a Culver's anytime we are in the area, as he is from Wisconsin. They never seem to get our order right at this location. Today they finally got it right... But the food wasn't fresh! We have NEVER been to a Culver's that didn't serve us freshly made food. Naturally, we can't help but to drive further into town and find a better location from now on. It's too bad that people who stop here won't get to experience a Culvers restaurant the way it should be. read more

I know this is just fast food, but I really love this place! They have an excellent selection, excellent product, and excellent customer service. They seem to be really nice people who want to put out a quality product. I would definitely recommend the butter burger basket! The fries are some of the best you can get in a drive-thru.
