I've been to Culver's - A LOT - since they've first opened in Riverview. A few months back, I took my girlfriend there and we had quite an experience. The service was great at the beginning when the orders were placed and again at the window for payment.. the young girl who brought us out our food was a little stand-offish, but otherwise was fine. We get home and the food appears to be correct. We begin eating - and about three bites in I hit it.. a damn salt packet! Inside my burger - dead center! My girlfriend said the wrapper looked "loose" when in the bag and the hamburger was hanging out.. never seen that before. How'd that salt packet get in there was questionable at best - so I ran it back in my mind. The only thing I could think of is I had a few pro-police stickers and a "Trump" sticker on the car. I called the owner to see if there was ANY way this could have accidentally ended up there. The answer was no - it wasn't possible as the salt packets are not in the proximity of where they assemble the food.. they are added to the bags LAST if they are asked for.. okay. So I ask if they could look into it further as now - I no longer feel comfortable eating at this location. He said yes - and that was that. No real answer to what happened.. I go in and order my food now if I even eat here at all - no more drive-thru for me.. shocker - food comes out fine. No issues. Could be a one off, sure.. but it has changed my Culver's experience at this location permanently. read more

My wife and I went in today and it was our first time. My wife had the fried fish sandwich which was fried perfect.......but was flavorless. Very little tartar sauce which had no flavor and neither did the fish. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was disappointing at best. Fried fine but I had to go back up and ask for more condiments (lettuce, mayo, pickle, and onion. What they put on the sandwich wouldn't cover a silver dollar and it had no flavor. I will never eat at another Culvers again thanks to the management and owners of this Culvers. What I would guess was an 80 year old woman was seated with what I would guess was her husband and son. She told them she was going to the bathroom. My food had not yet arrived. My family had finished their meal (and we have slow eating children) and the husband called to see if she was ok. The husband and son then discussed she had told him the bathrooms handicapped stall door was locked and she had been waiting on a manager who was supposed to be getting the key. Kids were getting ice cream at this point. At least another 15 minutes went by and the lady returned to the table pushing her Walker with poop running down her legs. Dripping all through the restaurant. I leave and on the way out the door there are two girl employees making fun of the lady saying she shouldn't leave her house if she cant hold her poop. Obviously they were pissed because one had wipes and another had a trash bag so I assume they were the cleaners but you dont make fun of a situation your fellow employees and managers caused. I called the store and was put on withbthen"general manager" who didnt want to accept responsibility for what happened and wanted to complain that the whole thing took place in less than five minutes. Unfortunately that's not true. She is a liar. I saw how long it took. My kids were finished with their ice cream when she came back. She was supposed to have the owners call me but of course I never heard from them some 5 hours later. So to the store manager I hope you are happy embarrassing an old handicapped lady like that. Everything was good till I noticed another employee being short with a new employee. Everyone has to start some where and to see it as a paying customer was not ideal in front of my young daughter. The food was good but it reminds me of more expensive Dairy Queen. read more

Went through Culver's drive thru today and asked for a child's apple sauce that they missed in a previous order. The guy asked for my receipt??? I mean really, who keeps fast food receipts? After all, although I may have a receipt maybe I'm not telling the truth about the apple sauce??? No, not at all, they missed that in the child's order and then would not replace it without a receipt. So bottom line, check your order before you get mikes down the road and don't expect them to have common sense in dealing with customers issues. read more

Talk about curb side service! Went thru the drive thru with a coupon for a bogo deluxe. The young man at the window was very thorough and kind. He put a number on my car and had me pull up. Couldn't wait to get home to eat the fries .... I devoured them suckers! They were so fresh and so good! Got home and opened up the burger..... it was soooooo good! so, i received a gift card to culvers from a friend as a thank you for a task. went to culvers in riverview, the staff is TRULY a delight, so friendly and welcoming, the food however, not so good. ordered a crispy chicken sandwich & a double butter burger. the chicken sandwich was meh, could take it or leave it. the burger- horrible. 2 paper thin patties that were smashed so thin you REALLY could see through them, hard, dry & terribly overcooked, AND void of any flavor. i VERY RARELY eat any fast food, in fact its been years. i thought, ok, this is going to be a fresher take on fast food. this food is NEITHER fresh tasting NOR fast. i may return for a concrete or some ice cream, but their food is just NOT good. too bad read more

Had a solid grilled chicken sandwich! My wife had a craving for the deluxe butter burger but I'm trying to be good though nothing here is truly good for you. She loved her burger and the fries. Culver's has always been solid when we decided to go...not sure about the low rating here. I'd put it right up there with the top fast food joints. I wish I could give a zero. Our food was cold, the salad was only lettuce and a slice of tomato, and the bread was cold. Our server said he would get a discount but DID NOT give a discount. The store missed a portion of a to go order. I returned today, two days later. I was told, next time, call when the order is not properly filled; so they have a record. I am a Midwestern boy that loves this sort of food, loves the Culvers chain, but this location lacks in a few key areas. The service is usually pretty good and the place is clean, but we consistently are missing major items in our family order. A missing fry every now and again is not a big deal, but we're often shorted major items or whole entire meals. I have left multiple feedback surveys detailing the problem, but nothing has changed. Also, it seems like they don't salt their beef patties or fries, which kills the flavor. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered a 10pc shrimp meal and a Culver's double bacon cheeseburger meal and a concrete mixer. My husband was the one who got the double bacon cheeseburger and when it came it was clearly one burger cut in half. When he picked up the top patty you could literally see through the burger in spots. It was thinner than a MCDonalds Happy Meal burger. To be charged for a double burger and to get one patty cut in half is ridiculous especially when our meals were almost $40. I understand costs have risen, but everyone has raised their prices and it doesn't excuse charging customer for something they didn't get. I could've gone to McDonalds, but I came to Culver's because I want more and a better cooked product. read more

This is 5 stars for being a burger, not just a fast food burger. The menu was a little overwhelming, but skip it and get a double. The single is not quite enough (which reminded me of in-n-out). Everything was piping hot and fresh. The burger patty had a crust better than most- they have it down. I was impressed. I'll be back for some curds and custard! read more

I was once against Culvers but after trying them a few times I have changed my mind. I always find the Burgers, Fries, and Ice Creams to always taste great. They also have great customer service. My kids really enjoy the tenders, especially the Buffalo flavored one. As far as fast food goes I drive past Burger King, DQ, McDonalds, and Sonic to visit Culver's. read more

This place opened recently in my neighbourhood. We decided to grab some lunch in there since we've never eaten at a Culver's before. I read an article on the best burgers in the US based on yelp reviews and Culver's was ranked 3rd or 4th, I cant recall, but decided to try one of their burgers. I was not impressed. It was not bad, but it wasn't spectacular, it was just a regular tasting burger. There are tons of restaurants in my neighbourhood and many food delivery options, and I don't think Culver's will be on the top of my list for food, only because it's just not memorable. It's just regular fast food, nothing special. I am giving it 3 stars though because the service their was great...friendly, helpful and pleasant. read more

I filled out the survey on my receipt and was contacted today by the manager. Used to be good however 2x now I have ended up with horrible stomach pain keeping me up all night and lasting into the next day after eating there for dinner. I am sick to my stomach as I type this from last night's dinner. The workers are all kids and stand with their backs to the registers leaving you standing there waiting to be acknowledged. Clearly, proper handling of food and cleanliness is not being followed as this is the 2nd time I got sick from eating there. Culver's isn't what it used to be. They don't know how to make a chocolate sundae, or any of the ice cream that they have on their menus. They are cheap in quantity and honestly McDonald's has better desserts. Save your money, save your time, go somewhere else. read more

Have been her twice. First time was not impressed. Tried it again. Same thing. Cashier couldn't understand simple ordering instructions. When you name the thing you want four more questions come up such as, "Do you want the spicy one, or the plain?" Did you just hear what I said? I usually buy 4 pint size custard cups each time I go here and it seems like each time something is wrong each time. I've been there 2 different times and all 8 pints had pieces of hair in them as if it was planted in it on purpose. Then the other times the people do not fill the pints full of custards. They fill them either half full or a inch from the top. I pay too much money for these to be short of my moneys worth. Received an email for curbside saying my order was ready, then emailed back saying I was there. Waited 8 mins then finally went inside. My order was sitting there on the counter getting cold; told the employee I was waiting outside an nobody came. She told me it was ready. Handed me the bag (after already waiting 5 mins). I had to ask for my drinks after she told me I was all set; waiting another 10 mins for soda and shake. 20 mins altogether for a curbside order that I had to go in and get. Ridiculous. NOT FAST FOOD. Please do not go there thinking that. In fact, don't go into Riverview Culver's location even thinking sense of urgency food. Once you come to grips with that mindset you are well on your way to a respectable meal. I did have my heart set on fast food and had to delay my arrival time somewhere else because I was waiting on meal service. It was a 2pm on a weekday so figuring it was not the crowd. Yes, it's new but I believe every available point of sale register open. While it did take some time to get my food when it arrived it was hot and freshly prepared. I had a butter burger deluxe and fries. Probably best burger I've had in awhile. I'll go back and try different times hoping the service gets better. The Restaurant was clean including the bathrooms and everyone seemed friendly and inviting. Giving 3 stars because based on its newness probably not a true reflection of service. read more

have been to the riverview fl. Location many times and except for the very first visit, all have been very good, food wise. They had just opened and were not up to speed. Have complained before about not enough handicap spots and have spoken to staff. So far no changes yet. My wife and stopped the other day and our hamburger s were as always, great, her custard of the day, good as well. My rasbarry shake, sucked !!! No taste and all seeds, come on guys, don't scoop the last of the juice and seeds, should have taken back, but wife was having problems, get next time I will call them out about it. read more
