Last time I went I ordered a single bacon deluxe but ended up with a double deluxe. Asked for a small shake, was charged for (and received) a medium. The girl that was working the speaker didn't read it back and the screen wasn't working for me to see that she had typed it incorrectly. The girl at the window was not at all friendly. And it was a different girl than the one that took my order. I understand that mistakes are made but this one was completely avoidable if she would've just read the order back. Maybe I should've asked her to read it back, but it should just be part of the routine in my opinion. And if people could just put on that fake smile like they should when they interact with customers... It really makes a big difference! I ordered a burger without bacon and ended up receiving a burger with bacon. They took the burger back and just took off the bacon and give me the same burger back. I know this because my fingerprint was in the band from the first time when I picked it up and saw the bacon. When I told him I didn't want it. Quite disappointed... we went out to grab some ice cream and Culver's was nearby so why not? The line was super long and it took us forever to get through the line. Once we got up to the order, the lady who was working could barely understand what we were saying and was giving us an attitude. God...people just love this place. Every time I drive by it's packed, inside and out. I've had friends brag about it, I've had family members brag about. I finally decided I would try it out myself and see what all the hype was about. You know what? I really just wasn't all that impressed. The menu is really just your run of the mill fast food junk. Burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, french fries and salads feigning healthy. I do have give them some points for originality. They do have other choices like mashed potatoes, pork tenderloin and an array of burger toppings that many sit down restaurants can't boast over. Also, they have cheese curds, interesting addition there Culver's, I'm certainly giving you points for that. However, I don't really think the ice cream here is all that great. Again, like the rest of the food, it's not bad at all, just not really impressive. I guess I can blame Ted Drew's for forever ruining my ice cream standard of judgment. Although the menu is diverse, I must know what is a BUTTER BURGER? I mean, isn't that entire concept just a little...well...disturbing. I mean, you have this burger, not exactly health food to start, and you are smothering it in cheese and bacon and whatever your heart desires, and then this place decides, hey, this isn't quite up to par, lets fry it in BUTTER??? Uh...that just kind of grosses me out. All in all, it's not a bad place. It's fast food, so I mean, how much are you really looking for here. As a fast food restaurant, Culver's offers drive thru food, a dine with in service, and an assortment of food. The stand out because of their customer focused service, high quality food, and personal touches of a family restaurant. Starting with the drive through, it is not made for speed, but you will receive fresh, made to order meals. You typically receive a number and are asked to pull forward while you wait 3-8 minutes. Dining inside is a much nicer exposure to Culver's. They offer a clean and family friendly atmosphere in the style of a booth and take restaurant. It's clean, and well maintained. They play a "greatest hits" music track that's reminiscent of a 80's-90's "Now That's What I Call Music CD". The employees are dressed in nice uninforms and are trained to offer a higher standard of guest service compared to other fast food businesses. Their restrooms are clean as well, but not spacious. Culver's offers table coffee service, but not very frequently. You can ask at the front and they will give you coffee with your meal free of charge. The food is delicious and is prepared well to order. They offer seasonal dishes depending on the store location. The Pub Grinder Pub Burger is fantastic. You will find their burgers are great and their other meals are good as well. I recommend the burgers or the North Atlantic Fish Fillet. Cheese curds are a specialty here. They're like mini mozzarella sticks with great cheese. They go best with marinara (depending on location) or ranch. I don't recommend the patty melt or the chicken strips. The chicken strips are like thin pieces of fish that are not pleasing. (A seasonal double fried buffalo strip in the Eureka location is delicious.) Overall, Culver's is a higher standard and quality restaurant asking the Fast Food competition. It ranks among the best variety of foods and service. It is the Chic Fil A of burgers. If recommend Culver's for a nice family meal without any time constraints for dinner conversation. read more

Culver's is one of the best burger chains I have had. A Wisconsin cheese themed restaurant featuring thin charred burger patties with all their caramelized goodness. As you would expect the shakes are phenomenal also, I particularly like the chocolate malts. One of the hard to find items on the menu are the fried cheese curds, they are really good if fried right sometimes they are fried a little too hard but when done right they are little pieces of heaven. Overall its hard for my to pass up a Culver's sign and is on my list of greats with In and Out and Whataburger for best chain burgers. read more

Drove through today n got a cod fillet sandwich and an unsweet tea trying to stay healthy...germxed my hands....reached in bag n pulled out box..ate sandwich...then took my finger and tipped bag over to throw box away- THERE WAS A USED LATEX GLOVED IN MY BAG!!!! I am a fan of hamburgers and Culver's has the best burger ever! Not sure if it is the butter, maybe the meat hasn't been frozen (the patty doesn't look factory made) or the produce is grown by local Midwest farmers, but whatever the reason, it is a damn good burger! The custard is a nice treat there too... Is it as good as Ted Drews?? As a Southern Californian who has limited access to frozen custard, I don't have enough experience to call it but I can say there burgers beat IN-N-OUT's hands down. Also, every time I have gone there the staff all seem to speak and understand English like it is their native language... what a novelty! What I don't understand is why would anyone ever go to a Hardy's, Burger King, etc. if there is a Culver's in your town? read more

This is my all time favorite Culvers. I have really never had a bad experience at this location. Well, I have had some less than friendly people wait on me, but it really has not been bad enough that I won't go back. I know it is not exactly the season, but I wish that they would sell a better variety of soup year round. I understand that they aren't going to sell a lot of soups in the summer time. My family goes to Culver's WAY too often; we just love that place. But recently while visiting relatives in St. Louis, we discovered that not all Culver's are the same. On our first visit to this Culver's (conveniently located just down the lane from Costco), it took forever for our lunch to show up at our table. A couple of burgers, some chicken tenders and a kids' meal really shouldn't take so long. Then we hit their drive-thru on a separate occasion, and that's where the real travesty occurred. We all chose dishes or sundaes made with the Flavor of the Day, M&M Swirl. (Being Culver's regulars, we love far too many of their Flavor of the Day selections: made with Culver's awesome frozen custard, they're packed full of goodies like candy, nuts and/or ribbons of fudge or caramel.) Tragically, this Culver's M&M Swirl was so skimpy on M&M's that we all thought at first we'd been given vanilla by mistake! But no, about halfway down I found a lonely little yellow M&M, and a few more in the bottom of the dish. The same thing happened to my companions. We decided that there are more M&Ms in one little McDonald's McFlurry than there were in all of our M&M Swirl dishes combined! Please don't base your opinion of Culver's on this particular one; instead, come to Wisconsin, where we have several fantastic Culver's restaurants. My request was disregarded and both meals came with what I requested be removed which meant the people they were for were not able to eat them. Decent burger. I could actually taste the butter on the bun. I don't think it's as good as other burgers I've had, and I would have probably liked it more if they had melted cheese a little rather than just putting a slice of cold American cheese on the burger. The crinkle fries were good and the turtle concrete was pretty amazing. Culver's is, to me (a Southern interloper), a taste of the Midwest, and for that I love it. Insanely good Butterburgers, fried cheese curds, pork tenderloin sandwiches, and custard, all served by perky teenagers...for those of you who don't know life without a Culver's around, consider yourselves lucky. Yes, it's fast food, but there's something so great and All-American about Culver's that I feel a little less guilty for eating it. The fact that it's delicious, every time, doesn't hurt. Each time I go, I feel like I'm a few steps closer to a heart attack. Don't get me wrong, the food is great, but I would not be able to eat here more than once a month, otherwise the guilt would kill me. The other day, I ordered a double butter burger with fries and a Twix concrete. The concrete was a bad call because Twix and custard don't really mix well. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I should have gotten a different mix-in. The butter buns are notorious for being unique to Culvers and this bun did not miss my expectations. It was pretty good. The staff working always looks like they have a laundry list of things to get done. They are always running around cleaning and serving up food in a quick manor. Although the workers are generally friendly, this particular Culver's is abnormally slow in their delivery of food. Typically, the drive-thru is stacked 5 to 6 cars with little to no space to pull up. After failing in the drive through, we decided to venture inside for a to-go order. Again, the order was processed quickly, but the actual delivery took far too long. With restaurants like Chick-Fil-A, which is in the same market, pushing faster delivery times, the wait here is borderline unacceptable. This is unfortunate, because we frequent this store often, and we appreciate the friendly service and food. All that said, if you are expecting to grab a quick bite here on your way home, you would be best swinging through Wendy's or Chick-Fil-A down the road. read more

I ordered a cheese burger, they brought it to me quickly which I appreciated, but unfortunately it was drenched in grease, I tried to take a couple bites but grease squirted and ran down my throat every bite. I couldn't handle it. After picking a hair out of my mouth I had to just throw it away and leave. I am not a fan of this particular culvers, I love the one in Arnold, it's clean and a nice environment with clean chefs. It took me awhile to find a clean seat at this location, and the chefs at this location are nasty. I recommend to the owner here to straighten up your crew. I'm definitely not coming here again. Man, Culver's really is so good. You can get a really good deal if you go with a snack pack. For like $4 bucks you get a butter burger, fries and a drink. My wife likes to get the kids meal version of this same thing, called a scoopy meal, so that she gets a small custard with it. The two things they do so well.... burgers and custard. The two things you should try next on the menu... the pot roast sandwich and the CHEESE CURDS!!!! The curds are expensive but they are delicious!
