DOUBLE BURGER
Matt M.

Great place for lunch after a trip to the zoo! We loved the double burgers and the fries! The burgers are cooked perfectly! The fries have great crunch and seasoning! The service was good! We ordered carry out and they brought our food out to the car! Don't skip this restaurants because of the lack of parking! You will not want to miss a good burger!

Gluten free bun TOKLAHOMA BURGER

The service this recent visit was really great--fast for how busy it was, attentive and friendly. The last few times, I think we caught either a bunch of new people or they were understaffed and the wait time was probably over 30 mins before getting food after ordering. This recent visit was a welcome reprieve. Food wise, really delicious, and I love that they partnered with the science center for their galactic brownie shake. Though it looked delicious, it is not gluten free! Weirdly, while we were there, at least 2 galactic brownie milkshakes were dropped by customers and shattered. The staff took great care in cleaning up the messes quickly. I couldn't give them a 5 star for gluten free dining, because the gf bun was so dry, I was coughing from dry crumbs the entire time eating it. The last several times I got it, the bun was frozen and cold still. If we're charging so much extra for a gf bun, it should be closer to what I'm getting if I was ordering without an allergy. My final gripe was that I got the dregs of the unsweetened ice tea, and it actually came out thiiick, like chunky. It was so gross that I got water instead.

Overall, the food was very salty. Maybe I got unlucky since my friend's fries weren't as salty. I got the Toklahoma burger and I feel like it was missing a sauce; it was very dry and mostly just tasted like mustard which had to be offset with ketchup. The shake was decent and I wished I got a more fun flavor. Service was really good, the waiters kept checking on us and making sure we got our food on time.

Funny sign on the restroom door.

If you want a burger, this is the place to go. But if you want something totally different, it's also the place to go. Today they had the special of the Parmageddon. This sandwich was big and delicious! It had chicken topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella, pesto, and a giant mozzarella stick. It was served on a big toasted hoagie roll. There was so much flavor packed in the sandwich. If you are ever here and it is the special of the day, do not even hesitate and order it!

314 day burger

314 Day did not disappoint at Hi-Pointe Drive-In. Still dreaming about this burger. Imo's pizza buns, pork steak, a perfectly cooked burger, Red Hot Riplets, and of course plenty of melted Provel cheese lol basically everything you love about St. Louis in one meal. And the St. Louis Blues shake to top it all off was unreallll They never disappoint, any day of the year!

Look for the sign!

Bustling spot short distance from Forest Park, with fries, shakes, sandwiches, some tacos and salads. Parking is a little challenging, but circle the block a few times, you will be lucky. I got the turkey burger with cheese and bacon. Meat was well seasoned, tender. Good amount of bacon, good roll. Also got onion rings, crispy, portion size (maybe 5 rings) was a bit small compared to the cost, but they tasted good. For drink I grabbed a strawberry shake - delicious, huge, and to be honest a great value for the price. They have wine and beer, which I'll have to check out another time - selection looked pretty good. They often have specials, such as shake of the week - be sure to check the board. There is lots of seating, including in a tent and also shipping container, and the tables turn over pretty quickly. While a bit on the pricey side for burgers / fries, I feel it was worth it based on the excellent service, fresh, flavorful food, and of course, the killer shake. Use caution, the driveway is one way in, one way out (which I got wrong )

Grabbed today's special - Toast Buster. It was a single burger, brisket, pickles, onion flowers, cheese sauce, on Texas toast. It was tasty. I'd get it again. The service was quick today, and the staff was super friendly

Hi Deal!

Came in for dinner at around 6pm and this place was bustling with people! Despite the line, my meal came out pretty quick! I got the Toklahoma burger + fries and it was delicious. The fries are well seasoned and crispy! It was my first time trying this burger in particular but I love the touch of mustard and the onions. My only complaint is that my burger seemed to be a little too well done but overall still a solid burger!

TURKEY BURGER

Food is amazing but it takes a really long time to cook for the type of food you order (more specifically if you are looking for a quicker take out option, would recommend dining in). A standard classier diner experience. Dining inside can get loud but they also have a nice patio area outside. Worth going to but would consider elsewhere if you are in a rush.

One of their fabulous strange donut shakes.

Best smash burgers in the area, period. The fries are also always solid. The shakes are out of this world and come dressed to the nines with various accouterments accentuating the outside and top of the glass. The decor is old school drive in vibe done up stoner style including a tatted up big boy and the original good burger car. There is a stoned alien motif spread through out the artwork. The restaurant is counter service, but they bring you out your meal to your table inside or out. The employees are always super pleasant and accommodating. We always feel welcome here.

DOUBLE BURGER with grilled mushroom and onions, MAC & CHEESE

What a cool looking restaurant! The decor is filled with local St. Louis articles and a galactic cartoon feel. The service was excellent with multiple people coming to check if we needed anything and how everything was. The food is very fairly priced and super tasty! The milkshake is a must buy. It was my favorite part of the experience.

SINGLE BURG with lettuce, pickles, jalepeno, and grilled onion

We got a take out order. Hi-point has an awesome birthday reward-free burger. Came by to get my burger, but my fiancée couldn't leave without one too! We love hi-point and their collaboration burgers look delicious, but we generally stick to the classics. While we both got single burgers I highly recommend a double. Their fries come with a delicious fry sauce. We ate all of the fries before I could take a photo. They are very well seasoned.

As we pulled in, we could see it was pretty busy for a Saturday, and the kids could barely wait to get something cold and sweet. My wife and I ordered malts -- I had peanut butter, and she had chocolate. The kids went with micro cones: Jade chose strawberry, and her friend got vanilla. Everything was delicious, and everyone enjoyed exactly what they ordered. Whenever we're craving something cold, fresh, and satisfying, Ted Drewes is always the best choice for our family. Great treats, great atmosphere, and always worth the stop.

Sweet and delicious treat for a hot day!…read more After leaving a nearby establishment, my husband and I decided to venture into Jeni's. This was a perfect ending to our date night. Upon entering, we were greeted by the workers and my nose became filled with the sweet smells of waffle cones, and ice cream. They have so many different flavors to choose from. If you are undecided, ask for a sample before deciding which flavour suites you. Prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of seating inside to sit, or take a stroll through the neighbourhood and enjoy! I opted to get a waffle bowl with gooey butter cake and brown butter almond brittle. Both ice creams were delicious. The gooey butter cake had pieces of gooey butter cake, and the brown butter almond brittle had almond brittle pieces in it. It was sweet, yet salty, and savoury. The waffle bowl was crunchy, and sweet. I will definitely be back to try new flavours!
